Had previously obtained cost from Honda new car dealer which I thought was on the high side. Dealers estimate was $900. And estimate was free. Took vehicle to Rich's as stated above and was charged $61.74. I never expected a cost for a brake inspection and didn't approve any costs. Their estimate for the same work was 1623.59 incl tax. Not including the $61.74 for cost of the estimate. In addition to the estimated brake replacement there were estimates and recommendations for work totaling $2,114.47 incl. tax for work that had previously been performed or was superfluous. Obviously, I did not have Rich's perform any additional work and paid the $61.74 for the estimate - a charge most shops give at no cost for brake estimates This review has nothing pertaining to job quality, thoroughness nor friendliness of their personnel.

I told him I could send him a picture of the damage to which his attitude increased and told me I didn't have to because he wasn't the one who did it. I made an appointment, took the van in and explained that I read an online article stating that in most instances an oil change will solve the problem. I asked for an oil change to see if the article proved correct. I did not ask for a computer diagnostic scan. However, they did one anyway and charged me $60. When I called, they were unwilling to make any adjustment in the charge. They've had my business for several years and I've referred others to them. One would think a business would want to keep a customer and have the customer continue referrals. Seems like very poor business sense to me to not desire to satisfy the customer. Instead of a happy returning customer referring others they now have a person writing a nasty review and telling friends to stay away from this place.
