Took my 2017 civic to Don aryes honda and they told me some bolts on my turbo were stripped out and I was going to need a whole new turbo, they quoted me $4500. Called independent honda they said no need for a new turbo and they could just rethread the holes. they did the job for under $1000 and the car is as good as new. Very dishonest shop. I was having some front end issues with my Odyssey that I never had before so I scheduled an appointment to get it looked at. Not once did they say there would be a charge to get an estimate. The owner said after several hours it would just be a "guess" at a lower control arm but it wasn't guaranteed to fix the problem. I showed up and on the quote it just said "Lower control arm?" and a $40 charge. So if you want to go and throw money at a guess then be my guest. Will be taking my Honda other places which is unfortunate because I heard this place was honest. read more

Love Independent Honda, kid will get your Honda/Acura in tip top shape. Good for oil changes, drain N fills, and auto care and repair. Cheap too! good prices, beats the Honda dealerships for sure. Kid does the same thing just for only cheaper and without the sales pitch you will get over at Donnie...Yeah for real like that. Kid knows how to twist a wrench and knows what to do. We had two different repairs to our car at this shop with favorable results. Then we took our truck in requesting brake pads only. We dropped it off when they opened and asked them to also fix the rear turn signal bulb. As I was leaving, a technician was outside at the front wheel of my truck with a flashlight. Fifty minutes later they called and said it was ready. When we picked it up the owner said it didn't need brakes and they replaced the bulb. The bill was $100. As I walked out, I looked back, and the owner was scowling at me. We had an appointment for our car the next day. We made three attempts calling to cancel the appointment, but it was not answered. I'm now having someone else replace the brake pads. read more

No issue with the mechanic work these guys do but they have no garage insurance. If your vehicle is damaged while in their possession they will tell you to file a claim with your insurance. They totaled my wife's vanduring a test drive and were cited as the responsible party in the police report. The owner wanted me to pay for the repair even though the car was no longer usable. I tried to come to a settlement with him but he accused me of trying to gouge him for money. They knowingly operate w/o insurance because of the cost of the premiums and fail to disclose that to customers. read more

I took my 07 Odyssey to Independent Honda two weeks ago, due to repeated battery issues. (I'm on my 4th battery this year.) No other mechanic could figure it out. My last mechanic eventually suggested I go to the Honda Dealer, but I heard about Independent Honda, and they came highly recommended so I gave them a try. WOW! They found that a dysfunctional door was causing the battery drain even though no lights were on in the van. After fixing my door the same day for a very reasonable price, my battery hasn't drained once! These fellas are kind, reasonably priced, and the Sherlock Holmes of Honda Issues. Honestly won't be taking my car back there. I'd rather do the work myself instead of them just picking and guessing what could be wrong without even hooking up a code reader to the car. Tried to tell me look we don't have some magical powers to know what's wrong with it, um try hooking up a code reader which you can get at autozone for $30! Literally charged me $80 for them to bleed the breaks to have my breaks go out and almost get hit by a semi with my pregnant wife in the car. Horrible absolutely horrible and your customer service is even worse! Remember next time the customer is always right! read more

This is an awesome business! The owner is a great mechanic and has been working on Hondas for many years. I took my 2004 Acura TL here for my timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc. Very honest mechanic and he'll fix what needs to be fixed and not try to rip you off like some other places. Work is done for half the cost of the dealership. He also took the time to explain everything to me and ask any questions that I had. read more

Great service and price. I took my 2008 Honda Pilot in to have the front catalytic converter changed and a differential drain and fill. The work was completed in a few hours and the price was half of what the dealership wanted. I will keep you as my #1 resource for all future repairs and services.
