SIDE NOTE: He was asked to tow it directly to the body shop. Instead, he took it to FRANK'S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE AND TOWING, where it appears to have sat accruing storage fees while we tried to locate it! Two days later, the $250 (under the table quote) had inflated to $1310.00 when they saw they could get a fat insurance payout. Our intention was to save a double tow charge. Instead, we let these crooks have a go at our expense. Don't call these people unless you've exhaused every other possible avenue. And make sure you're carrying a butt-load of cash.

I took my truck there because it was skipping. They had my truck for 3 months with me checking on it every week. I was told it would be fixed by the end of the week every time I went in. I was told there was a problem getting a part however when I called the distributor I was told there was a one day turnaround and no delays due to COVID. After 3 months of being lied to, I went in and found my truck behind the shop in total disarray. Many parts had been removed and thrown in the back of the truck which had about 3 inches of rain water in it. There were also greasy parts thrown inside my truck on my leather seats. I immediately left and called a tow truck to remove my truck. I returned to the shop and told Mr. Allen, owner, that I was removing my truck. Upon hearing that I was removing my truck; one of his employees began swearing and throwing tools around the shop. Mr. Allen was 3 feet from myself and his employee yet he never intervened or stopped his employee. There were other customers who witnessed this outburst. Because of the violent outburst and behavior of the employee, I waited next door for the tow truck and removed my truck. I took it to Halls Bridge Automotive and was told that it was so destroyed that it would cost over $1,000 just to replace the parts that had been thrown in the back of the truck and inside. Even if I would have paid to have it put back together; there was no way of knowing what else had been damaged and the cost were likely to be several thousand of dollars. My truck was destroyed and had to be sold for salvage. I filed and won a lawsuit against Mr. Allen and this business in October 2020 in Butts County. Despite having a judgement Mr. Allen has not paid the judgment or attempted to make payment arrangements. I now have a lien on this business and personal property. I plan to pursue having his business license suspended until my judgment is paid. I would expect a business owner would have more integrity.

So they can't give you an exact estimate but they will tell you examples such $300 for the amount of 4 refrigerators (just an example) we called them on a Friday and we're scheduled for Monday. They came pretty early and got the stuff out. The price was not bad at all. We had 2 mattresses some tables and some more items moved and I think my partner paid between 2-$300. There a trampoline in the backyard and they said that they can come back and break it down it would only be about $100 I think. Zero pressure to buy--- alternatives were always presented, some more expensive, some less. Prices for their equipment are probably the usual prices you would find at other decent shops. However, I have had all of the equipment serviced by them, and they have always done a fantastic job, for very fair prices, sometimes with a little 'extra' thrown in unexpectedly.
