This is the cleanest testing establishment I've ever been to. The gentleman was very polite and everything was was quick and easy. The $5 Yelp check-in discount was a very nice surprise too. I shall return.

They pretty much get you in and out as fast as possible. Of course the line was long bcuz of the position of the entrance is awkward but nothing I haven't sat in before at other places. Person servicing me was nice and informative I asked a few questions and she was able to assist me.

When I pulled up the location a $5 off coupon came up. This location is attached to the Shell Gas station. I almost missed it. There is plenty of signage around. Just pay attention.

Second visit in several years, and received great service both times. Located in shell gas station at intersection of Tara Blvd & Mt. Zion with entrances on both sides. Thankfully did not have a wait when visited on 4/2/22. Service was prompt and professional. The young lady working, I think receipt said Malaika, was courteous and provided explanation of information on emissions receipt. Was able to take advantage of discount offered via Yelp, and appreciated the cost savings in addition to passing! read more

Had extremely horrible and rude service there today! the lady that did my emissions test was EXTREMELY RUDE! she had an attitude the whole time doing it. when i first arrived i asked if she wanted the car on or off she rudely looked at me and said "it doesnt even matter" then when was she was finished she said it was 20$ and snatched my card from me! After the payment processed I told her thank you and she used her hands to try to shoo me away! Totally disrespectful if shes working i wouldn't recommend going there! If I could I rate my service today a -5 and no stars at all honestly! read more

I had to have the catalytic converter replaced in my car so it took my car a while to be ready for emissions testing. The first place that I visited advised me that my car wasn't ready. I drive and drive and was advised twice that it still was not ready. Upon my 3rd visit, the car was not ready but the tester insisted that I needed to visit "his" mechanic because he said something wasn't right. The test simply advised that my car wasn't ready so I knew that I needed to drive more and I decided at that point that I would not go back to my original testing location. I drove for another week and visited Brown's. The service that I received was AMAZING. He was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. This will be my new testing location for all of my vehicles. read more

I was in the area and needed an emissions so I Google and Brown emissions came up. After speaking with Vincent I was so impressed with his phone etiquette and professionalism. I had gone to two different emissions places that weren't able to help me. I found Brown's Emissions on Yelp and so glad I did. The guy was very mannered and informative. He had me in and out within a few minutes. I took my truck home and took my car back to get emissions on it. I'll go there in the future. Hard to find good service like that these days! I DO wish I had gotten the $5 coupon everyone else has been mentioning though. read more

It was a quick and painless process; I pulled in, exited my vehicle and stood to the side watching the noonday news while they worked. In total, I believe I was there for about ten minutes, and left with my record of a successful check in hand. I went directly to the tag office to renew my tags and was told my emission report is sent to them electronically so I could keep the hard copy for myself. For the record, I've been to Sun in the past as well with an older vehicle that did not pass the emission inspection. I left with a report on what needed to be done to the vehicle and a coupon for a discount inspection if I returned in a certain amount of time.

I have the certificate (I keep copies) to prove it - but I don't need it, because one of the Yelp pictures confirmed this guy's lie. A couple of weeks ago I went back to get it done for this year. The manager, owner or whatever he is is acting like he is Tupac or something. All these young ladies are riding up, flirting with him - it was a very different place from last year. All the older guys that were working there seemed to be gone. It has become... ghetto. But I just wanted my emissions done. So when i could finally tear him away from his flirting, the young Black man who runs he place tells me not only do they not do emissions, they haven't done them in two years - a f*****g lie right to my face - and WHY? Why did he need to lie to me? What did that gain him? Did it matter so much that he couldn't just say he cannot do them anymore? He told me they took their machines away two years ago - but I was there in October, so how did he do my Emissions test? With his mouth? So I went up the street and had my emissions, plus three other things done there instead. I was so disappointed because last year the place was so professional, and now it's so ghetto, I wouldn't leave a broke shoe there, never-mind have my car serviced. And if someone is going to lie to me - at least make it a lie I have to think about, not some juvenile, stupid lie that insults my intelligence - as if I can't remember being there the last time I had my emissions done. That picture Yelp has can be argued with - but I have one from Google Maps dated March 2016, with the Emissions sign and sale signs. If this place can tell you a lie about something so minor, they absolutely cannot be trusted about something as important as car repairs.
