A cute little bakery with plenty of pastries, sourdough and cakes to choose from. I love their almond croissant (the one I had from Farmette). They ran out today so I had to get other pastries instead. The almond horns were amazing, the plain croissant is so buttery, sourdough was great and we also got some of their danish pastries which were also yummy and not too sweet. The lady at the counter was so sweet and nice. We will come back again to get sourdough and more pastries!

The espresso tastes like someone emptied a bunch of used Keurig pods and cigarettes into pool water and boiled it for seven hours. Burnt, dirty and aggressively bitter, without any of the flavor that makes strong coffee actually good. And that's what makes it so frustrating. This is exactly the kind of independent bakery/cafe where I WANT to buy a great latte instead of going to Biggby or another chain. There's a huge opportunity here to be the legit coffee spot in town, and the rest of the place already deserves it. Please, for the love of God, fix the espresso. Your pastries deserve a better wingman.

This is Bob's Barn Farm Market & Bakery's Daugther Ashleigh Heidelberg repsonding to J W Benton Harbor Reviews dated March and July. There must be some confusion to this as my parents market carries organic products and most of the ingredients in the Ashleigh's Essence body and hair products line are organicn as well. So I hardly believe they would tell anyone not to purchase organic. JW, there are several farm markets in the area that sell organic products in fact there is one directly across the street from my parents that they tell others about and are in coopeation with called "Big Head Farm" that would love your business. We also purchased their blackberries, the best purple plums we've ever had, some small yellow plums, and two jars of Queens jam for gifting (which we were told is loved by them!). We would definitely stop again on the way up from Chicago if we're early enough but definitely on the way back from metro Detroit. The staff was also helpful in choosing the best fruits.
