Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bob's was one of the many places we looked for new laminate flooring. When we walked in Ryan was there to help us with all of our questions and to help choose a floor that suited our needs. After many samples we finally found the one that we loved. Shortly after we placed the order we were called by JP to schedule the install and it got even better from there. Our installers Mike and Ryan were true professionals. My three previous experiences when hiring someone to work at my home have all been extremely terrible experiences. The last being a flooring company. Issues ranged from: Not showing when they said they would, damaging my property, poor communication, poor quality work to a complete lack of caring about their customer. One even forged my name and received payment illegal before the job was completed. Mind you, I'm 27 year retired Sheriff Deputy and this did sit not well with me. In contrast, my whole experienece at Bob's has been absolutetly wonderful. Dawn in the store was very knowledgeable about the products and did a great job with guiding us with our carpet decision. We were having a large staircase carpeted and there were a number of items Dawn knew about that we weren't aware when having stairs carpeted. The price was very competive with the box stores and other carpet stores. Ok, anybody can sell you carpeting but the real test is when the installers do the wotk. The moment that Doug and Stephen showed up to do the install you knew they were a cut above. They covered every aspect of the job with us and left us with the feeling we were in good hands. They were careful, cleaned up frequently and worked like it was there staricaase they were doing. The carpet looks beautiful !!!!. Finally, I strongly recommend using Bob's, in New Port Richey, for all your flooring needs. I want to personally thank JP the manager at Bob's for restoring some faith in me that there are still people out there that truly understand and care about their customers. In May, I was shopping for wood laminate flooring. Lenny/sales, showed me a variety of samples in the store (I took pics flooring, mfr). I called back to schedule an appointment for the free estimate and Lenny came out with 3 samples. The quote was not the lowest that I received but the Mohawk brand and Lenny's kind, professional ways closed the sale. Additionally, Peter and Nick/installers were on time and took care of the job. Peter actually recommended that for a small space I should consider having them lay the planks horizontal rather than vertical. I agreed and it is such an amazing finish! read more

I recently visited Bob's Carpet & Flooring in search of tile. They had previously carpeted my living room and I was pleased with that experience. Unfortunately, this time, they were not able to provide me with the tile I was looking for. However, what they did provide was EXCELLENT customer service by Chuck Andres. If there ever was a definition of 'customer service' in the dictionary, Chuck's picture should be beside it. He truly knows the meaning of this phrase, is knowledgeable, professional and polite and went above and beyond in trying to accommodate me. I went to this store and off the bat an oldish gentleman came over to find out what I wanted. He gave me the strong impression that he did not want to help me at all, and somehow felt racism from him but without him saying it. The whole time I was there he made me feel like I was wasting my time there. I left feeling sad that america was still like this. They had some nice tiles but the representative needs to get a job in the warehouse and not the shop floor dealing with customers. If you judge me on colour surely the money you take is still green. I hate to have to use the race card but I have not felt this way from someone in over twenty years read more

I am disappointed and disguised with Bob's Carpet Mart in New Port Richey and will never buy anything from them again and am telling all my friends never to buy from there. Here is my story. I went in the store and ordered carpet and used my debit card for the deposit only and was going to pay the balance with a check once the carpet was installed. I personally removed the carpet from the staircase which I did not need to do that is part of there installation however this is a rental of mine and the carpet on the stairs were very dirty and smelly so I removed and the only thing left were staples that were sticking up and The sales person Mike called me and said The installers were on their way and the installers didn't show up till 2 hours later in the meantime I had to go to Home Depot and left and a friend of mine there to wait. When the installers finally got there 2 hours late with no phone call they did not need to remove any carpet I just needed them to remove the staples that were sticking up I saved them some time so I thought. When they finally arrived my friend explained to them that I had to run to Home Depot and they only thing they had to do is remove the staples from the stairs and all other carpet was removed. That is when the installers flipped out and started cursing that they will not remove the staples continued swearing at my friend and going off and told my friend that I was a f***** old lady etc. in the meantime they never saw me to see if I was and "old lady" or not which tells me that Mike the sales person told them I was an "old lady" they were so mad that they left. My friend called my son who is an Atty and explained what madness just happened and he called Mike to tell him what the installers just did and that he would see him in court on Monday. Within a few minutes the installers were back with a different attitude and removed the staples and completed the job. I finally got back to the apartment and did not know any of this happened till after they left because my friend and son did not want to upset me by telling me. That is no way to treat people whether young or old especially old. Bob's Carpet you should be ashamed of yourself and Mike you as well. As if that wasn't bad enough I did not authorize them to take the remainder of the payment from my debit card that was only suppose to be for deposit and they they took it upon themselves to take the remainder from debit card. I have yet to receive any call or letter apologizing for their disrespect. read more

I went to Bobs Carpet Mart to replace my carpet in two bedrooms. Mike the manager was very nice and helpful! That being said, now I have to address the installation. Jason, was our installer, NEVER EVER , WOULD I HAVE HIM IN MY HOME AGAIN!!! He damaged the trim strip between two rooms, and never told me before he left. Not only was it cracked, there was a big chunk missing on the top, there is no doubt that he new. I called the store immediately and informed them. We were pressed for time so my husband offered to install a new strip, they just had to provide it. We drove to the store and picked up the strip and my husband spent the next hour cutting and replacing it. RIDICULOUS considering we didn't have any damage before hand. But we thought it would be a quicker solution than having to wait for someone to come back to replace it. The next day, I realized that the CARPET PADDING WAS NOT LEVEL in one of the and just didn't seem right. I pulled back the carpet to find the Jason, HAD NOT REPLACED THE PADDING IN THE CLOSET!!!!! It was the old foam padding that was crumbling at the edges. I was furious, and called the store again. This time Mike told me he would fire him, IF he found this to be true. IF, what did he think, I was making this up!!! He said he would call me right back. When he called back, he wanted to send JASON, back again. I said no, and he said their was no one else to send. He also said Jason was one of his best installers!!!! BETTER THINK THAT ONE THROUGH!!! He finally agreed to send out another man, who couldn't come right away. We were leaving for a trip and we were forced to delay our departure due to this problem. The 2nd gentleman, came out and said, that not only was the padding not replaced, but that the trim strip points were never bent down in the door way openings. He took his tool and fixed that problem as well. Because of the dishonesty of the JASON I would never hire "Bobs Carpet Mart" again. BUYER BEWARE, YOU MIGHT GET JASON!!! read more
