My rating is solely based on my experience shopping for tile at this location. Poor communication and service. They have a decent selection of tiles, the store is clean and inviting. I was working with a project manager to install new tile in my office. Had a rep from the showroom put a tile set on hold, provided all the required information to have the rep contact my PM as soon as possible to get started. 72 hours without hearing back, I call Stone Mart, get an apology and a do over. I even had the sales rep put an order on a different set just in case the other tile was not available. A few days go by, no call back. At this point, I just about had it with them, even though I really liked the tile. I shared my story with a rep from a different store I visited, she said they had a relationship with Stone Mart and would reach out on my behalf to have them call me. The call never came. So there you have it. Time wasted.. Smh. read more

Buyer Beware - as part of my pool package I purchased some marble and ledgestone from these people. The Ledgestone is put together with clear adhesive that in fact dries YELLOW (not very bright from the manufacturer) It truly looks like hell when the base colors of the stone are white grey and lilac.... A phone call to stone mart to inquire as to what could be done was...dawn dishwashing soap we think ...we really dont know clown show.....beware read more

I must say that working with Christina Rosa Figueroa is an absolute pleasure. She is always the friendly voice when I have to call her with a strange question or while I have a customer that needs an answer in our showroom. She knows her products extremely well and all the varieties, variations, and sizes. And when I email her a request for a quote I can expect it back in mere minutes instead of the hours it used to take. She makes the entire process so much easier. One would expect a multi store retailer who also services design professionals like me and contractors to have it together. They don't. About a month ago, marble flooring was ordered for a client and as late as a week ago, given options for delivery dates. When it came time to deliver, there was no stone. Either they didn't have enough to begin with or simply sold it out from under us. When it became apparent that there was a problem, no one would return calls or emails to respond, forcing me to go out of my way to go into the store to understand what was going on with our order. Not a professional way to deal with people, particularly when you've made a mistake. Frankly, not a reliable vendor to deal with for professionals if this is how they behave. They've lost my business. read more

I found the show room help very satisfying. The lady,Jualeydi was patient and explained my options. I sent approximately $6000 in the store. One item was not returnable but the 2x4 bathroom tile with matching boarders were. They also requested that I purchased the grout so I did. Only to find out not returnable at all. My installer got Covid as well as I which delayed the installation by 4 months. Stone Mart refused to take back any of the 2x4 tiles and full boxes of boarder tile and 5 full unopened boxes of grout. In addition to paying a delivery fee of over $300, which is a rip off to the average customer. I even was willing to accept store credit because I was going to redo my kitchen over as well. Stone Mart refuses to take back any item because of their 30 day policy which should be waived because of Covid. And waived for good customer relations. Stone Mart. Nice looking products but poor customer service and return policy. Guess I'll be going back to the big box companies because of their return policy. Stone Mart lost my kitchen job. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Stone Mart aka Travertine Warehouse. I ordered 3/8" thick travertine tiles in ivory/beige/noce and a versaille pattern. I was told they'd arrive by the end of the week. They didn't arrive until Wed of the following week and even thought they were darker (actually a walnut color) than promised I was still happy to finally get them until my contractor (who I paid to come that day and receive and lay the tiles) noticed they were not the right depth!!! We had to refuse and send back the delivery. I wasted 10 days waiting for them and when I called Jay the salesman, he said "he measured the sample" and that some are 3/8 inch...meaning that he measured the chiseled edge.... not the thickness of the tile. It is truly beyond me that a "stone specialist" could make a mistake like that despite repeated assurances that they were 3/8' not 1/2" tiles. I asked him repeatedly to confirm the thickness when I ordered because it's a difficult size to find. Buyer beware, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Even the delivery process was difficult to track but ultimately getting the wrong tile is my biggest complaint. read more

Terrible experience! I was excited because of all the options they have to choose from but what a nightmare. We are building a home and ordered tile and was told it would be delivered. No tile and no phone call... finally I called and was told they would deliver again and this went on for 2 weeks. When the tile was installed it had a cupping effect as if defective on all sides that we did not see on the floor sample. Save yourself the headache and hassle and shop somewhere more professional. read more

Amazing customer services and they are very informative of all things stone and tiles. The travertine we ordered from them is so beautiful and I can't wait for it to be delivered. Anna was the employee who helped us and she was very professional and she was very quick to respond to all of your emails and questions. They have a lot of options and I love how they have an outside area with all their available stones so you can see what their products look like outside and get a better idea of what will work for you. We ordered tile from the St. Pete store the first of August and were told that it would be in the store the following week. We got a call the following week saying that the tile would be delayed "again" and instead of getting it in an additional week, it would be mid-September. Mind you, we were never informed of the initial delay, so this was news to us. In early September, we got a call saying that the tile would not be in until October 4 and asked if we still wanted it. At this point, we were totally screwed, because I was 8+ months pregnant. We needed the tile before I would give birth, but because they kept us on the hook for a month, it would be too late to order from someone else and have it in time. I pressed and was "guaranteed" it had been shipped and would be here October 4. Since we were already screwed and I was too pregnant to deal with shopping for new tile, we said ok. October 4 came and went, no tile. I called on October 5 and was told it would be here by October 11. October 11 came and went, no tile. I called today and was told it would be here "soon". They clearly don't care at all about our business. Why should they? They already have our money. I understand vendors screw up and shipping gets delayed, but we are over two months past when the tile was promised to us with no ETA or hopes of getting one. We are showing our house in three weeks and will likely have a torn up floor for the showing because we shopped with Stone Mart. Go elsewhere. We should have. read more

This place has the largest selections of travertine natural stone flooring materials. We were in the market of looking for travertine to remodel our pool deck, and our pool contractor has recommended us to visit Stone Mart. We were very impressed with their well designed showroom, and their display of the travertine selections were excellent. We love their friendly staffs and sales people, very knowledgeable, and you don't feel pressured by them at all. Largest inventory that we have ever seen stored outside their yard and inside their four warehouses!!! You have to understand what you pay is what you get mentality. If you are trying to get Diamond, but wanting cubic zorconia price, this is not the place. All of their high quality travertine is very reasonably priced. read more

Stay Away. . . I purchased some marble tile while building a new home. I asked if I purchased extra to make sure I had enough, could I return any unused pieces. I was told yes. When the home was done, the manager of the Fort Myers store said he would not return my money. I have about $300.00 extra tile left over. He also stated they had fired the Sales Consultant and because it was past 6 months they would deduct 15% and give me the rest in a store credit. I explained that my home was built and I didn't need a credit, I wanted them to stand behind what they told me. They flatly denied. Currently waiting for a call back from the Tampa Location to see if they will honor what they had told me. I will update once I receive their response. Just an update. . . I called the Tampa Office twice and left two messages with the secretary. She promised the manager would return my call after the meeting. It's been over a week and no call. We are in the process of remodeling our master suite, finally, we got to the point of selecting stone for the bathroom and bedroom floors and walls. Stone-Mart was the place we chose to go for all our tile/stone needs. After spending over an hour selecting and matching all the stone we got to the point of placing the order. That's where the problems began. At first, we were told that delivery fees for the order would be $250. It's a bit much but fine, let's do it. The second issue came up when part of our order was not available since none of the Stone - Mart stores got the large quantities of stones we needed. We asked the salesman when can get it, he responded from 2 - 12 weeks!!!! Okay, we still were willing to spend thousands with Stone-Mart. Here comes the kicker, after placing the MULTI thousand dollars order we were told that we would have to : 1) Come and get the remaining part of the order ourselves, which would be about 5000 lbs. 2) Pay another $250 for second delivery since they don't have it available. After we were told that we were a bit confused. We already paying VERY high delivery charge, now you want us to pay it again??? The salesman was trying to work with us and called the store manager to see if the store could make an exception since we paid for it once already and it was not out fault that the order could not be completed due to understock. The manager was the worst store manager I have ever spoken with. NO CONSIDERATION FOR THE CLIENT AT ALL!!!!!! ZERO!!!! In a very NONE FRIENDLY way, he stated that there is no way he will be making any exceptions. We were trying to explain to him the situation but the answer was the same, VERY annoying NO. The entire body language and behavior of the manager were rood, unwelcoming and angry. He clearly did not want to talk to us or even try to help or come up with some sort of solution to the problem. After interacting with the individual like David Daniel (the store manager) there was no possible way for us to spend THOUSANDS of dollars at "his store", as he claimed. Needless to say, we were VERY upset (understatement) and actually hurt by such behavior. After the encounter, the very next day we went to Flore-Mart in Fort Myers, which got an even bigger selection of flooring materials, we're able to find the same exact stone, placed our order and it will be delivered next Friday. Stone-Mart, if you are not willing to work with customers and provide quality services maybe it is time for: a) new management b) close your doors for good! Please, guys, steer clear or Stone-Mart unless you want to be treated like meaningless dirt! read more

We purchased tile from Stone Mart for two different projects - travertine for a new pool deck in 2017 and the most recent one for a remodeled bath and fireplace wall. In both cases, we were given excellent prices and very timely delivery. Elisa was always attentive and easy to reach. On the one day she was not working, we had no problem dealing quickly and easily with the store manager, Michael. Only good things to say about this store! read more

Just more of a warning, I am a builder from the Chicago land area and bought various tiles from stone-mart .. Thus far no complaints... I had conversations with a sale associate about how nice the travertine pavers looked and was aware how its not used in colder climates and especially for driveways, The sales person assured me how it was being used with great success on the east coast and in equally cold climate and for driveways.. I took a chance and gambled on this product,, I had one of the best known landscapers in the Chicago-land area put down the pavers and I must say it looked beautiful. . well a 2 winters have passed and these travertine pavers have been cracking like eggs,, stone-mart doesn't care about misleading me and I must say I was duped ... beware of this place,,, they lie!!!!! read more

Just a very unhappy experience . My Husband and I visited the showroom to buy granite for our kitchen . We have a budget and tried to mention it to the lady with the dark hair . She didn't even care what we had to say. Just took us outside said this will cost 3,000 to 5,000 ?? We looked at each and said this lady just lost our sale . I've never in my life have been treated so RUDE . Also , I have to mentioned the SNOTTY comment should mentioned when we left too. Just lovely . It was around 12 on 3/9/2016. My husband I went to the company next door and ended up buying all the granite we needed in 20minutes. Thanks nasty lady from Stone-mart you lost a sale and I hope the owner knows the business he loss. She should start treating people the way she would want to be treated . read more

I first purchased travertine tiles from this store a couple of years ago, the second time I was finishing the downstairs room and purchased matching tiles. When my contractor unloaded the second batch he discovered that one box had been destroyed, obviously by their fork lift as there was also a huge gouge out of the pallet it came on. I took the box of tiles back to the store within hours of them being picked up, expecting to get a no questions no fuss replacement. Instead I was told it was a natural stone and that I should expect up to 7% damage. I spoke with the store manager "Michael" and he was adamant that it was my problem even though it was obvious the damage had been caused by their fork lift. Between the two orders I had spent over $4000.00 at this store. The price of the replacement tiles was less than $45.00. To say I was stunned and underwhelmed by the atrocious customer service would be an understatement. read more

Horrible! Terrible product. We are now stuck with an entire lanai of lousy high end cost travertine which is all chipped and pock marked. Weak with crystal formations....just awful. Terrible to do business with they raised the price once our pool company tried to return product and receive better quality. In the end they shipped about 70% new product but it wasn't too much better. I would never buy from them again. They are evidently not concerned about their client, their reputation or what impression they leave. DON"T USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Bought a bunch of tumbled pavers from them ... a large amount over $2500 When I saw the floor samples they looked great and the sales person said specifically that the stuff in the crates was the same. Boy were they wrong . They did not have the coping , the ladies behind the desk were rude to the younger sales person. For a bog company I would expect better . my advice is to shop around , pay a bit more and go somewhere else . I ended up getting a better deal on a re-order out of Miami read more

Found them on the internet, was shocked an actual person emailed me back after 9pm at night. Answered all my questions and samples arrived two days later. Ordered material and the samples were dead on. Installer ran short so we were worried about the tiles not matching, we went to the store and the sales rep actually took us into the warehouse to reassure us that the color range was the same.
