Really rude and disrespectful driving instructor to my daughter first time behind the wheel, hard to understand the instructor per my daughter experience. Have to call and cancelled the rest of the driving lesson schedules after the initial 2 hours lesson, with the unapologetic manner from the instructor when we call tell him about our daughter experience with him and rude in his response to the paying customer.... Absolutely the most shady instructor I have ever come across. Anupam Biswas (main instructor) is careless and an unprofessional who does not even submit the correct information on the certificate to the traffic court/DMV and only acts stubborn when he's faced with questions he has no answers for. Once again, Bob's Driving and Traffic School doesn't deserve a single star but it's Yelp's policy to do so. It's mostly all due to Anupam Biswas's poor professionalism and disregard for customer service. Now I'm stuck facing a difficult situation with trying to remove a point off my record since the DMV still hasn't received any certificate after every back and forth trip I've made from Bobs Driving & Traffic to the DMV and back. I'm currently setting up a court date to see what can be done legally since this type of irresponsible business conduct isn't something I should be having to deal with. Once again, I have the certificate in hand and since calling Sacramento (DMV headquarter) hasn't helped with my solution (although they've assisted me with a step by step process only for it to fall through due to Anupam Biswas's poor professionalism), I'm doing only what's necessary for my driving record at this point. My husband registered my son to this school. When it was time for my son to go get his drivers licenses I had my son called him to set up the appointment. They discussed the price my son verified with me I said ok. The day of my sons appointment he said the man is not coming. I got his number. I call Bob to figure out what happened. He said that my son never called to confirm about the price. I told him that day when he was on the phone with him that I told my son that the price was ok and to go ahead and book it. Bob said he called my son cell quit a few times to confirm. I checked my bill and low and behold as I speculated he never called. His stories were not adding up. I booked him a second time and the same day of my sons test he called my son saying that he have another student and that he will not be making it. Bob is such a lier how can you do this to a child. He didn't even gave my son some othe dates that he was going to be available, he had no intention on taking my son. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was in the Smart and Final parking lot this morning and saw a teen driver in a Bob's Driving School car. I heard the trainer yelling at the driver saying turn right. Turn right. What's wrong with your brain? I was shocked at how a new driver was being treated. I would be upset if I spent money on this lesson. There's nothing wrong with a new driver's brain. It's called inexperience. If you the teacher can't gauge where the new driver's level of experience is, then that is where the problem is. Your frustration was evident. If the student isn't ready for that lesson, kindly stop the lesson, kindly ask him to switch seats, and change to a more basic lesson. My instructor was bob he was very strict he is friendly but very strict he takes driving very seriously. I called driving schools all over southbay and his prices were like the cheapest so I went with him. The driving lesson was 2 hours long he took me all over Torrance since I live in Torrance. And he took me thru the DMV driving test course so I have to say it was worth it and he gave me a few tips that helped passed my behind the wheel test and my everyday driving. read more

He knows the area very well and also so you some tips for passing the test at the local DMVs. He wants you to pass the first time and gives you the confidence to do so! I made an appointment with Bob from Bob's driving school for the DMV behind the wheel test a week before the test. I called him a day before the test and he told me that he will come at 1pm at the given address. Our appointment is 1:30pm The day of the test we were wating for him. Around 12:55pm I called him and asked if he was nearby. He answered me in an irritated voice that he forgot all about it. And he won't come. I said WHAT??? I was so upset telling him , why would you do this to your customer? He did not even care! Terrible customer service! BEWARE!!! Everyone don't do business with this driving school. If I could give zero stars I would. This Bob guy was very very disrespectful with my sister who is taking her first behind the wheel lesson. He expected her to already know how to operate a car and did not give her any type of guidance or instruction. At one point she was not sure what move to make at the stop light because there were cars coming from all directions and he asked her if she was trying to get him in an accident or if she was "fooling" with him. Anytime he tried to correct her, he would not use his words, he would SLAP her hand. Even yelled at her multiple times and got upset at her. After three times of telling him not to put his hands on her, she finally cut the lesson short and told him she was going home. Even after then, he still slapped her hand to "correct" her instead of telling her no or stop. Would not recommend this place. Very very poor customer service and should be shut down. read more
