Hunny got the half stack of ribs. The half ribs were great! It came with bread, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. The bread im not sure if its homemade or what but it really doesnt taste like store bought at all. The coleslaw isnt "fridge" tasting either. The ribs are something i didnt expect. I personally didnt like the brisket on the potato but the RIBS!!! With their home sauce were just the best. Beans also tasted like the ones my mom makes at home. This mom and pop shop really hits the spot. Bug got the loaded baked potato, theres a choice between brisket or shredded pork . I went and chose it with brisket it was sweet but not too much. Along with every bite it was like the meat was just melting on my tounge . The cheese on it wasnt processed either it was most definitly fresh bought, the flavor profile of it is so much more better . The potato its self was so soft that it was seperating from the skin so easly its at that perfect temperature . I ended my meal with the peach cobble, by far the best ive had! It was like creamy, the dough wasnt mushy it was good. If youve ever seen the movie holes and know about the splooge in that move this cobbler to me is how i felt like the splooge would taste like . I very much recomend their cobbler. The business is a nice mom and pop restaurant, and its been in business for 91 years!! And for good reason. The one thing that stuck with me the most is when it says "we are so used to plastic and fast food" and its very true. This was a nice change of pace. read more

Stopped in at opening time on a Saturday morning. Were promptly greeted and drink order taken. Ribs were top notch. Didn't use any sauce, didn't need it. Fries are thick cut, and a tad greasy with plenty of seasoning, just like I like them. Slaw & pintos were really good as well. GF got a pork sandwich, and it was also excellent. Neat old building with a lot of history. It isn't 5 star dining. It's an off the beaten path bbq joint in an old house in an old neighborhood. If you like that kinda restaurant, you'll love this place. Not the best Q I've ever had, but they were really smoked ribs and not boiled, which gets a 1 star from me every time. If you're boiling your ribs it ain't bbq. These ribs were smoked, and pretty good. Give it a try! read more

One of my favorite restaurants! Everything is just so good. Burgers are great. Seasoned fries are always so yummy. I love the marinated chicken sandwich with their homemade bread. The place is average. I got the small pork loin sandwich ($5.50) and my girlfriend got the brisket sandwich ($5.50) and we split cheddar fries ($3.00). I had a beer and the final ticket came to $23 dollars. Price oddness aside, the food was okay, my pork loin was not moist and nor was my girlfriends brisket sandwich. But we drowned the sandwiches in bbq sauce which tasted store bought. Probably won't be back unless I've been drinking. People were really nice though. read more

Having been here many times over the last 13 years, it's always been good food and service but tonight was absolutely terrible. Arrived at 7:30, hour and half before closing and told NO RIBS! Never have I seen a BBQ restaurant run out of ribs! Ordered smoked ribeye, wife ordered loaded baked potato with brisket. Ribeye came with baked potato. Food came, steak was nasty and potato was dry! No butter, no sour cream, nothing! Wife's "loaded" baked potato had a little bit of cheese and tiny amount of brisket. Waitress never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything. Ive always liked Bob's but Punkins is way better now, so will be going there. At least they dont run out of food and have great service! It's a shame to see a place like Bob's be this bad! read more

83 Years if history right here in Pauls Valley, OK. I didn't try the pig sandwich But I did try the combo plate which has the rib, sliced brisket and pork loin. The rib was definitely is the tastiest and best! The traditional coleslaw and potato salad reminded me of when I was a kid growing up eating Texas barbecue. Would love to come back and try a sandwich and get some more of those delicious ribs. Service was great you can sit down and order from your table. read more

I loved the place from the moment I walked in. The knotty pine paneling and the old newspapers. Real old school and Retro. My girlfriend had the pig San which which was really tasty. Especially with the western Carolina BBQ sauce. She also had the seasoned chili cheese fries. They were perfect especially with the home made chili. I had the prime rib with a baked potato. Hungry for some bbq and decided to get off the highway and try this. Never again. The other reviews fail to mention that their bbq is spicy. The bbq sauce was okay. It was a cross between Arby's sauce and bbq sauce. I had the Pig Sand-which. It was dry as a bone. Dad had chopped brisket. It was also dry as a bone. We ordered two side ribs to try. They were so dry you couldn't eat them without sauce. We got the seasoned fries as an appetizer and they were very good. All in All, will never return here. #SpicyMeat read more

i'm not even crazy about meat. and by that, i mean that i'm predominately a vegetarian, much to the chagrin of my beef-raising, very-red-meat-eating family. alas, as a girl who was raised on a bustling dairy farm and once had a diet based at least 30%-40% on meat, i can get down on some well-made barbecue. first of all, bob is adorable. he takes pride in what he does, and boy does he do it well. the ribs were perfect. they didn't fall of the bone, but absolutely NO silverware necessary. get the spicy fries. i'm not sure what they were seasoned with, but i have a feeling it had to be with grease from some type of pork and cajun spices. the beans are record-breaking good and, weirdly, the nachos that we started with were licked clean. i think, actually, more than one person licked the same plate. that good. they resembled more of a taco salad, which was a nice contrast to the main course of meat and grease. all in all, if you're in the area for whatever reason, go here. ask to see wiley, too! he's the adopted wolf of bob. no, really. he's a wolf and he's sweet. and it's just not every day you get a damn good barbecue meal and get to pet a wolf. read more

We went down Friday evening for the prime rib. I've eaten a lot of prime rib and this was the best I've ever had. You know people understand a prime rib when the menu says 'ask for horseradish', and when you get it, it's fresh horseradish. The prime rib was a lot leaner than prime ribs usually are, and this one just melted in your mouth. You'd be hard-pressed to get a better meal anywhere at any price. read more
