Let me tell you, Carl is my hero! I lost gears in my 2008 Malibu. When I called Bob's, Carl answered, listened to my symptoms and told me it may just be low on fluid. I put fluid in it, still no gears. Had it towed to Bob's. Carl called me and confirmed it was the transmission, but asked me to call the dealership because they may have an issue with it, if it was a wave plate. Sure enough, GM would cover it if it was a wave plate. I called Carl back with the news, and Carl said, since it might NOT be the wave plate ask the dealership what their diagnostic charge is, so I could bring it back to him if it wasn't the wave plate. It ended up being the wave plate, and was repaired free of charge. Carl, instead of just repairing the transmission, sent me on a path that got it fixed for free. I am grateful to Carl, and it lifted my spirits to think that there are people in this world like Carl!! He wouldn't 't even do an oil change for me, so I could at least give him some business, because he said they don't do enough oil changes to be competitive. Just amazing! Use a real review site to leave reviews. This site has been slammed with untrue and false allegations and Yelp does nothing about it. Eric M is a guy who destroyed his own transmission by playing the part of mechanic without the knowledge or skills to do it and then blamed the shop and then wrote a fake review, classic. Nathan M liked to curse out our female workers and threaten harm to them after he installed his transmission incorrectly. Raven E and R.S are fake accounts that have never been in this business. Vernon B is a guy who got ticked off because he could not scam us out of money and was the first one to cyberattack our business, congratulations. Han N is another fake account. Very amazing shop! The owners were so awesome, kind, honest, down to earth people! You don't find to many Humble people in this world anymore like them. They were so helpful and respectful. (seeing as I'm a girl and have no clue about cars). They have worked on all of my vehicles and always do amazing work. I have never had to come back twice. I would highly recommend. For these people writing FAKE reviews, Theres no "FAT" guy who works at bobs. Karl the owner and his wife Melinda are amazing people! Karl is Very smart working with vehicles and knows exactly what he is doing! He fixed my car right up! my entire family uses this shop and has never had a problem. Busted out the plastic on my center console when fixing a gearbox issue and then when I tried to show him the pieces they claimed it wasn't their problem. As I was leaving Bob proceeded to chase me down in the parking lot because I "slammed the door" screaming obscenities, towering over me, a 19 year old girl, and made me feel as if my life was in danger. If his wife hadn't stepped in I fully believe I would've been put in the hospital. This man is a danger to all his customers and I advise you to either get your car fixed somewhere else or come prepared with pepper spray. read more

Very knowledgeable and professional transmission shop. After going to another shop for a diagnosis and repair that wasn't successful Karl (The guy who test drove my car) let me know what was really wrong with my vehicle. To my surprise, they had my car repaired and back in my possession within less than 48 hours. It runs great. The professional and friendly service plus the reasonable price made this our go to shop. Staff replies to bad comments with lies. I've never threatened anyone. Much less mouthy female office staff that run to the parking lot chasing you screaming. Crazy office staff and inept building. Excellent service, friendly, helpful, fast. We had our transmission replaced here and there was a rattling noise (totally unrelated) we took our vehicle in, they ordered the part and installed it at no charge. Very much appreciate the help! read more
