After 10 years of trimming palms and sometimes a couple of bushes cut back from freeze, I get a quote that is 128% increase from last year. I needed a team that could remove the limb without damaging the lower limbs below as well as stay clear of my a/c compressor and my whole house generator. They made an estimate for two houses in Americana on Top of the Word, the owners get the approval, sent it to the company and they disappear. no answer neither return the phone calls. they said the On topo of the word is a nightmare to work but continue working here but not in our area. I just got some service from Bob's Tree Service, and I am happy and impressed. They were a good crew of guys, and did a great job, and cleaned up perfectly after themselves. Better than I would have expected. They didn't have the equipment to remove the stump from the tree, but Sal promised to return with the stump grinder when he comes back to the area. I'd give 5 stars except they couldn't do the job when first scheduled due to problems on a job before mine, but it was rescheduled and they showed up with a crew of 5 and did the job in 90 minutes. They were successfully careful not to damage my fence and the crew cleaned up well. No complaints and I recommend them. read more

We requested an estimate for the removal of a tree and trimming one tree, the estimate is fare and Bob was willing to work within our budget. We were scheduled and the team arrived on time the date of work. The team was professional, we requested that two other trees be removed, the team leader was cooperative and let us know that the price would be a little more but it fell within our budget. The team began to work and we observed a well trained working team. we also observed a gentleman take a young and mentored him in the working of equipment and the team leader assigned tasks that this young man could handle. I used Bob's after a colleague recommend them, and they did NOT disappoint. I have 1/3 of an acre with 5 oak trees, one grand daddy oak, and 2 smaller trees, all of which had been neglected for over 20+ years, to the extent that most of the trees were now hanging over my house. They lifted limbs and removed the dead wood on the trees, which was a huge job. I came home to find: any residual sawdust and leaves had been removed from my roof, all the branches were removed from my yard (to the extent that my dog was looking around for something to chew on, but couldn't find anything), and there were no longer branches hanging over my house. The crew arrived a few minutes early, they were courteous, professional, and incredibly thorough. Outstanding service today from Bob's cutting down a big holly tree with roots cracking our driveway. The service also included the stump grinding. Bob's staff and quality of equipment were fantastic.
