I really don't understand the reviews for this place. I admit I've only been once (though I have friends who go frequently), but I loved it!
We arrived at 10.30pm on a Saturday, so for one, how many places are there in Stockholm that will sit you for dinner that late? That in itself is worth a star.
We went all out, ordering sangria and tapas. The sangria was some of the best I've had in Stockholm, and served in very large glasses. It lasted all throughout the meal.
The restaurant itself is very small, but tastefully decorated and cosy.
We tried bacon-wrapped dates, pimento peppers ("They're REALLY hot," he warned us), chevre with beets, squid rings, potatoes with aioli, and a plate of manchego and hams.
We also got a mushroom tapas dish which we did not order. We pointed out that we had not ordered it, and the waiter let us keep it anyway free of charge - hooray!
Every single tapas dish was absolutely delicious. Only one of six pimentos was REALLY hot, but that was enough. The waiter was friendly and attentive but not too involved I he mostly left us to enjoy the food on our own, although under his watchful eye in the bar, which I appreciated.
The place has great atmosphere and I would recommend it for an intimate yet casual date night dinner. I have absolutely no complaints!
In order to secure the five-star rating I'd have to go back, but my first experience was definitely 5 star, and I'd like to give it what I think is a well-deserved boost here on Yelp. read more
