We were sent there to get compression socks for hubby. The OT wrote the Rx wrong. They called for clarification and ordered the socks. We were supposed to leave Boca soon after and we were worried the socks wouldn't arrive on time. They promised to ship the sox at no extra charge if they came in after we left. Fortunately they came in a few days before. Prices were not great but competitive. Great service! read more

A medical supply store. Who needs a review of THAT? Well, if you're in need of any specialized medical equipment or supplies you'll want to know where to go. And this business has it all, either in stock or they special order and it is shipped in a few days. You or a family member need a walker? They have them, all sizes, styles, price points. Wheelchairs? Benches for a shower? Medical grade prescription only compression stockings? They will order it according to the specifications and for them for you to ensure they are properly sized and you know how to take them off as well as put them on. Canes. Braces. Anything and everything one might need as your body shows the stresses and strains of aging and accidents. Lots of dressings and bandages also. Good group of staff who work one on one with you, never rushing you. They will file your insurance paperwork on your behalf, for eventual reimbursement, so expect to make payment up front. Okay so this is purely on customer service. While my little brother(in law), was at his first interview. Oops I left him with my keys, well anyways. Typical Florida weather, hot as always. I walked in here to cool down, the employees welcomed me. Offered me a place to sit and just hand out to cool down. Now this says a lot, typically stores would rush you out if they knew you were not buying anything. Not this store. If you want good customer service, you can't beat it. read more

Horrible service at the locations in Boca Raton, FL. I have been going there for 2 years, I have severe RA/Lupus/Osteo/Carpal tunnel, among other things. I went to the location on glades first to get my first knee brace, that knee brace did not work and the dr gave another prescription for a hinged one, they gave me a hard time, because of insurance, but I know my insurance covers it all. Finally after much rudeness from the staff I finally got the brace I needed. Then I went back for a carpal tunnel brace to sleep with, snotty issues again because I wanted to go through my insurance, but got it again fully covered by my insurance company. It has been 2 years and I need a new brace because my old one is too big, I lost muscle mass with Neuropathy, they had the nerve at both locations saying don't have it and it is not something they order. I even took my old one to show them I purchased it there. I went there with my mother to get a walker with seat for me and a walker with a basket for my mother, I know insurance doesn't pay for it so we were just going to purchase it. Again the woman was rude and obnoxious and said she could not help us. So we went to another medical supply and purchased over $500 on walkers. These people need training in customer service. I will never go back, I tried giving second chance, and if any one asks me I will say to not go there at all. read more

Go elsewhere! I spent 2.5 hours being measured by owner Elaine for a compression sleeve and full glove After she was 30 min late for our 10 AM appt. No apology either. Before I left my referral and insurance card, I offered to pay upfront to avoid and delays in authorization and suggested they could then reimburse me after insurance kicked in. I've had the same insurance for 23 years. Whike there, I was told by Elaine that her staff said there were secondary insurance issues. I reassured her I only had 1 insurance for 23 years. 2 weeks later I followed up and was told by her incompetent and rude staff the same thing and that since I worked for the insurance co, that I should fix it. I requested my measurements as I was told to by the Academy of Lynphatic Studies so I could be referred elsewher. Elaine told me NO that she would not give me this and that her staff was correct in doing what they did. What she didn't tell me was that due to her slow n careless process that took 2/3 weeks, my arm would be more swollen since I had no compression sleeve. And that my measurements would be inaccurate by now. This is a time and sensitive matter that anyone who struggles with lymphedema without compression Garments understands. as a result my arm and hand have increased in size. read more

Very disappointed with Boca Medical Supply...not because of their quickness in getting the hospital bed & bedside table delivered to the house but their unwillingness to offer any credIt since my loved one died in the hospital before she even came home to us it. Shame on Boca Medical for not offering any proration towards this rental. SHAME ON YOU! read more
