I appreciated that, although I was fully prepared to wait until the week began. I spoke to the owner on the phone, and he was able to schedule me for service the very next day. He gave me an estimate that not only fit the budget I originally sent in my message, but also brought me a complete price list for future services. He arrived on time (actually a few minutes early to set up, which I also appreciated!), walked through the rooms with me, discussed what he was going to do, and then proceeded to work. He was able to clean four dining room chairs, a spare bedroom, a master bedroom, and a master walk-in closet thoroughly in less than 90 minutes. He had a special device that covered the front door which allowed him to bring all of his hoses and other supplies in the house while keeping insects/hot air out! I submitted an inquiry to JFD Steam Carpet Cleaning and received a prompt response and scheduled a cleaning on the day and time of my preference. On the day of the cleaning Jose, from JFD, called to give me an update on his arrival time to my home. He called me again when he was just a couple of minutes away. At my home, he surveyed the rooms that needed cleaning and recommended a de-ordorizer in addition to the basic cleaning. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in years and he spent over an hour brushing out the dirt, steam cleaning and de-odorizing it. The before and after look of the carpet is dramatic. I would like to recommend JFD Steam Cleaning for all your carpet cleaning. I started to get an Advisor from an internet Home service company and received an estimate that was double the amount charged by JFD. In addition, I was bombarded with email offers from this company. JFD contacted me within 2 hours, gave me a price (that I thought was fair) and did the work the following day. It was a Friday and I usually don't schedule work in the afternoon because some contractors never make it on time and it ruins the start of a weekend. Jose arrived 5 minutes early in a spotless van loaded with professional equipment and then methodically went about his business. It was clear that he knew what he was doing. He even set up a dust barrier at the front door and placed door edge guards so the hoses wouldn't scratch the molding. Nice touches. Wow!! Jose was absolutely amazing! I called him to get a quote on a rug cleaning on a rug I purchased over a year ago, and he was able to make it the same day! Fantastic! My elderly Aunt's 20 year old wall to wall carpet was filthy with large areas of traffic stains, food stains, biomatter and tobacco smoke. I was so impressed with the quality of work that JFD did cleaning my very dirty pick up carpet that he got a tip!!!
