Unfortunately, I have to use Heartland on a fairly regular basis thanks to the wide variety of liquids and solids of varying colors that my dog chooses to leave in random rooms of my home. This has provided me the opportunity to get to know Travis, the owner operator, fairly well over the last couple years. Heartland is small locally owned company that's been around for 5+ years. I've used them for jobs as small as a stain or two, and as large as a full home carpet shampoo. I've never had a single bad incident, nothing but good things to say here. I have had several stains that I was certain could not be removed. Heartland came out and removed them with ease, and afterwards Travis always tells me to call if the stain comes back, none of them ever have. Great company with great service. Very pleased with all aspects of this business. Appointment set for a specific time rather than for a 3 hour period. Arrived at that time. Explained all services available and charges. Maintained clean work area. Cleaned carpet and had special equipment to spot pet accidents. Told us to call if those areas needed further treatment. They did an amazing job! We were so frustrated with the way our carpets looked, even after trying to steam clean them ourselves stains and spots still wouldn't go away. We thought we would have to replace the carpet but gave this a try...now the carpets look great! Almost every stain came out! I havent had carpet in my house for over 6 years. We bought a house in KCK from a older couple who smoked in the home and never opened a window. The carpets were gross (mind u that i am a smoker, and even i think they were gross!) heartland came and cleaned them in about an hour, and the living room looked and felt brand new! They always come on time and are extremely professional. We had a fruit punch incident on our living room carpet. Today Heartland Steam Cleaning cleaned three carpet areas in my home. One of the reasons I chose the company was because their website clearly indicated that part of their standard service was to vacuum the carpets prior to cleaning. Seemingly, that is a misrepresentation on their website as the two technicians proceeded quickly to cleaning without vacuuming -- this was especially disconcerting in our family room which is subject to a shedding dog. When I asked the tech, he replied that they had looked and didn't think it needed vacuuming -- even though patches of black lab hair were easily seen and pointed out when we did the initial walk-through. Long story short, if I had known that vacuuming was not done as their website stated, I would've done so prior to their arrival. Overall, the carpet does look cleaner -- I am just greatly disappointed in the attention to detail and fulfillment of promised services by the technicians. I will not use this company again and cannot recommend it. read more

Trust these guys! We did and we weren't sorry. Sometimes I am a bit leary of people coming into my home to provide work, we've had a few bad experiences with unprofessional and or messy people. Heartland is neither of these. They are prompt, clean, professional young men. We had a terrible carpet upstairs that we were thinking of replacing. My husband wanted to clean it just to see.... Heartland came and it looked like a new carpet! We have also used them to clean our upholstery and tile. Our couches looked like new! We were more than satisfied. Their prices are a steal and they use non-toxic products, which are a plus because we have three dogs and we don't want them sniffing or licking toxins! I don't use anyone else. Example... I found Travis scrubbing a spot in our dining room. I told him not to worry about it. The carpet is close to 25 years old so I wasn't expecting miracles. But he was having none of that. He was going to get that stain out no matter how long it took. That's why I am a loyal customer. He was clean with a neat appearance and seemed to be participating in no shave November. They had a special on the stain protector and it seemed like a good deal at $15 per area and b2g1free.
