Everytime I step into the building it's so calm, welcoming and just cute!!, I've gotten my prom hair done here which Val killed it!! And every since then I have been coming back and back again. Val has been the only one I've had the pleasure do my hair everytime and every time she kills it!. And let me tell you as someone who had not cut their hair short short, i knew I could entrust that to her and she did not disappoint! She's always helpful with hair advice and gets straight to it!. Val, Ann, and the rest of the staff at Bodacious make getting your hair done a super fun and enjoyable experience, not to mention the top notch talent this team has in cuts, colors, etc. they are warm and welcoming and time after time deliver awesome service. Val has always gone above and beyond to fit me into her schedule so I don't have to wait for appointments or schedule way in advance. Recently moved to Easton from the NY metro area (Paramus, NJ) and needed to find a salon for cut/color/keratin treatments going forward. Salon was clean, spacious and colorful! Really nice, friendly staff. Erica was knowledgeable, experienced and did a fabulous job with the keratin treatment and the cut! Extremely happy with that. Val was also super-friendly and gave lots of restaurant recommendations that I asked for. Have found my "new home" for all things "hair". I don't understand how they are only ranked 3.5 stars! I have thick curly hair to the point at almost every single salon that I have EVER been in wants to perm my hair so it's "more convenient to do". Bodacious NEVER said that to me ( and yes I have been told that) or even gave me that feeling in the slightest. They do my hair beautifully to the point that I don't trust anyone else to touch my hair. And my stylist is Ivon she is the best! read more

Extremely happy with my new hair! I got both hair extensions, and highlights, and Val really gave it her all and worked her magic because she transformed my hair into my dream hair. I am in love with my haircut and Style by Val. I have gotten non stop compliments.

First off, how are you going to charge $5 to check someone's temperature? To scan my forehead? Second, how are you okay with charging $75 for a simple haircut? That's disgusting, and pretty much a crime. The salon isn't even good enough to be charging so much. You're in Easton, not LA. Wake up. Absolutely embarrassing to waste money on mediocre work. read more

My teenage daughter came back from a basic haircut appointment with an ok cut and wet and unstyled hair. The power apparently went out and the owner (Anne) could not finish the service, giving her an option of doing it another day, which was not an option for us. She was charged $75 for this half-service, and never offered a discount because the service (haircut + blow dry) was not delivered. My daughter was also not informed that her basic hair cut would cost $75 rather than $50 (as the website states), because it was with the "owner." Bad business practice; hiding real prices; lack of respect for customers. Fortunately, many customer-friendly salons in the area! read more

I went to Bodacious to get my hair dyed ombre blue and left with blue & green hair that was severely damaged with chunks breaking off. The stylist, Anthony, used 40 volume to lift my natural brown & twisted the ends together, then left for about 15-20min to go in the break room on his phone (he friended me on FB while back there). My back started feeling very hot after about 20min, so I asked the owner, who was standing nearby, if something was wrong & she said "oh you're done...Anthony!" He came back and started to separate the hair he twisted together and it was steaming, so hot that it burned his fingers! Pieces started breaking off and he put me under the dryer, which only made my hair feel very crunchy. They tried to tell me that I must have minerals in my hair, but my hair had no product on it or dye, it was virgin hair. He brushed it so hard that a lot of hair broke off and he said he would fix it. He gave me a conditioning treatment, which seemed to help. He also applied a lot of product that made it seem to be fixed, so I paid. They did try to charge me for the treatment he did to fix the damage, but I refused to pay for that portion. I wasn't happy with the green that he decided to put in against my wishes, but at least my hair looked like he fixed the damage. After washing a day or two later, I realized how awful it was. A lot more hair broke off and I couldn't even get a brush through it, still can't. I called the salon and spoke with the owner, Val, several times, but she refused to refund me. She did offer me weekly conditioning treatments and a recolor, but I do not have time to drive to Easton every week. I'm very disappointed with the whole experience and as nice as Val is, she should have refunded my money. Anthony is very talented from what I've seen, but he messed up. He left me for 15-20min while on Facebook and decided green would look better than what I asked for. He is also extremely rough with hair, which I don't think is necessary, especially when you're dealing with fragile, damaged hair. I would recommend avoiding Bodacious at all costs. read more
