Never ever use them. Be prepared for them to change my story to make me out the villain. I respond to an Bodamer ad selling remnants. I just needed enough for a stairway and small 3x4' landing. Kurtis said he would come and measure my area. He never showed up. I stopped in two more times and each time Kurtis said he needed to measure my space in person (this should have been my first red fag). Finally he said if I just bought this carpet on special that week ($1.95 sq ft installed) he could put it in in two weeks (this is why he wanted a foot in the door, to sell me carpet off the rack, not a remnant). I had spent three months waiting and driven almost 200 miles, so I decided to just go ahead. He only had ONE style of carpet at that price. I didn't like it but was tired of waiting. He asked for a credit card to take a 25% deposit. (Note that he never came out and measured but suddenly knew exactly how much I needed and even winked at an associate and said if I needed more, they could cut more *wink wink*). When I got home, I realized that the carpet i just ordered was the same that I had previously bought a remnant of, and it did not hold up well AT ALL. I hated it and sure didn't want more of it. I looked at my receipt and discovered that Kurtis had charged my card FULL AMOUNT, not a deposit AND had charged for labor AND had estimated TWICE the yardage I needed. (no wonder they have so many remnants to sell). I called the next morning to cancel my order. Kurtis was rude and tried to talk me out of it and said he needed to keep a 25% stocking fee!!!!! What? It wasn't due to be installed for two weeks and he CLAIMED he already cut it. Right. He stalled for 3 months and all of a sudden is cutting carpet two weeks before installation? I didn't believe it for a minute. I called the owner Dan Bodamer. He did agree to refund my whole charge but said I had to bring my card TO THE OFFICE. He said his machine doesn't give refunds! Note that I live 30 miles from the store and had already made 3-4 trips there over a four month time and sure didn't want to drive another 60 miles to get my charge reversed. Mr. Bodamer rudely said, "Well, if you can think of another way to get a refund, tell me" and he HUNG UP on me! Actually, I could think of a half dozen ways but he was SO RUDE I did not call back and called my CC company to have the charge disputed. It took almost a YEAR to get it off my card because Bodamers claimed I owed them the money!!!!! My CC company finally removed the charge from my card, after I called them every 60 days for a year. I can't tell you how many scams are involved in this transaction, but I will NEVER set foot in the store and no one else should either. Please note that both Kurtis and Dan acted as if I was in the wrong. Seriously? Mr. Bodamer told the CC company a bunch of LIES. That it was a custom order (no, it was a in stock item they were advertising) and he said I waited 4 weeks to cancel (nope, I cancelled within 36 hours of the charge and have the receipt to prove it. It would have ben even sooner had they returned my calls in a timely manner. ) I am sure Mr Bodamer will come on here and tell a different story, but ask yourself if you want to go through this, if even a fraction of it is accurate. PS, he messaged me through Facebook and threatened legal action against me. All because I cancelled an order within two days. I'm not worried, I documented everything. read more

I recarpeted about 2300 sq ft in my house. Was going to use another well known shop, a neighbor suggested I give Bodamer a shot. Glad I did- Kurtis was great to work with! Within 24 hours I signed up with them, they had a great bid, and bottom line was I trusted them. Many of these carpeting folks seem "slippery". Kirtis was genuine and they delivered. The product prices may be as low as they claim but the estimate we were given for sheet vinyl installation in our kitchen included only the "installed" Price Per square foot. Since it was a role that is a Standard 12' width, we expected to pay for all the sir plus that is cut away for cabinets, etc. it was a shock to realize that instead of the product price, however, they were charging the installed price even for about 60 square feet of surplus. I really wish I could give a negative 1 on this review. Our company purchased a very expensive ESD tile floor. After a year the floor is still leaking adhesive not the whole floor just half. Bodamer sent a installer to clean and seal the cracks that were leaking in the tile floor. After he sealed the cracks we waited until it was dry and called the manager back to look. When the gentleman went to show our manager the floor saying it won't leak anymore. Up came some more adhesive during his demonstration. The manufacture of the floor and adhesive came in to do some test and check out the floor. I told him how we cleaned it and asked if that was the proper way to care for the floor and if our cleaning could have caused the leaking. He said the way we were cleaning the floor was perfect. He was guessing humidity or something else was going on with the floor, but couldn't be sure till after the tests to make sure it wasn't defective adhesive. The report from the manufacture came back that it wasn't the adhesive. The manufacture asked us if Bodamer flooring did humidity test on the floor prior to installation. The manufacture said that there would have been domes all over the floor for 24 hours for the type of testing. I replied no testing of that kind was preformed prior, since we were here and in the building when the stripping and prepping of the floor took place. My manager asked Bodamer flooring if a humidity test was done and Dan said yes but there is no documentation to prove it. Which if you went to the trouble to do they test why not save the results. If we found out we couldn't have tile due to our humidity we could have gotten a roll of flooring and not tiles with several seams. Bodamer flooring said that no matter what we say he wouldn't believe that it wasn't our fault for the way we were cleaning the floor. Well if that was true then why only a portion of the floor has oozing black liquid leaking from it. Bottom line they called us liars, sold us a very expensive floor and will not do anything to correct the problem. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have several pictures of the floor and that it is leaking in half of the building but can not paste them here. Will on another review site. read more
