    Sitting outside. Everything was tasty.

What a great place. Excellent food. You might have to wait for a table, especially after the bullfighting session ends. If Enrique is there tell him we say hi. Great server. Fun atmosphere.

Great Vibe and Friendly Service! We arrived around 7 pm and before the restaurant got busy. We were greeted and sat promptly in the outdoor seating. They do have an English menu if you have difficulty ordering from their Spanish menu. We shared Rabo de Toro (15€) Braised Oxtails Racion Calamares (10€) Cuttle Fish in ink Chirion (8€) Stuffed Baby Squids All so well flavoured! I really enjoyed the Baby Squids as they were stuffed with Squid Tentacles! Good selection of wine under 1.5€ That makes me a happy customer!

My husband and I loved this place. Their ham and piripis are delicious, my husband said this was the best jamón ibérico he ate in Spain. The sangria and the draft Cruzcampo are excellent. The attention was incredible, I recommend them 100%.

Timing matters when you want to maximize your experience here. They open at 1pm, but if you show up after 1:30pm, expect a very long queue that'll wrap around the corner. We sidled right up to the bar - we need to normalize leaning against the bar for a boozy lunch with small plates. Behind that bar was an army of seasoned bartenders and servers who've seen it all, done it all - just the right amount or surliness mixed with friendly attention to let you know you're in excellent hands here. Throughout our meal, the ice cold Cruzcampo flowed consistently and it was wonderful. The pork cheek was brilliant. The prawn tortellita was so crispy you could just break it up and eat it like the flavorful cracker it was. We asked for a pringa but our server made sure we tried the piripi also, my God, what a combo of sandwiches. That piripi - roast pork, prosciutto, garlic aioli - is pure heaven. The stuffed zucchini was also terrific. Honestly one of the best joints in this lovely city. It's busy, the staff hustle, and we loved every minute of it.

Food was amazing, sangria even better! The waiters while they speak minimal english are amazing and we loved Enrique!!! He treated us so well and I would go back just to visit him. It is really loud inside but it adds to the experience.

Great restaurant with high quality food. You know it's a solid place when the place is packed with spaniards on a Wed night and they don't have an English menu. I asked the waiter for his recommendations which were all fantastic! Bacalao en aceite (cod in oil served on toast) Beuy (medium rare) Carrillada al vino (pork cheek in wine sauce) Lomito Serrano Enspinaca (spinach and chick peas) The wine that we had was also fantastic. It was ValTravieso 2012. We ended a meal nicely with a chocolate tort and classic flan.

We were still a bit peckish after our Sunday dinner of crisps at Los Angeles, so when this started to get going for the night, we walked over to get a few pieces. Very few seats, mostly standing at tall tables. On a Sunday night at about 10pm, it was very busy and very loud. We didn't come across any English menus, so muddled along OK with a little help from bar staff. I don't think there is table service, we ordered at the bar and they flagged us down when dishes came out. This is traditional tapas, rather than modern. They have a focus on little sandwiches, although only one was vegetarian (roquefort cheese), but my companion enjoyed a couple of meaty mini sarnies. We tried a couple of other veggie dishes, including the leeks with mayonnaise, which was also very heavy. I'd say this is A-OK, so 3* from me. If I were in the same situation of being there, being hungry and it being open, I'd go back, but wouldn't make a special trip.

She seemed to be only one of 2 waiters there and there were also a few tables full outside. But we were the only customers inside. So we initially overlooked her behavior as being busy. No big deal. Then the food came out and one dish after another that was a salad or came with a salad was brown. Half the salad was brown and wilted. But, we could not get her attention as we were in the back room. And when another table filled up back there she was in such a rush that we could not flag her down to tell her about the wilted salad. So we ate around the brown salads. And when we were able to get her attention we told her that the lettuce and salad were not fresh. She took a micro second to look at it as she was running out the room and repeated "La lechuga no es fresca?" While she was running out the room. And never came back to inquire if we wanted another salad or a replacement. That was it. You take it or leave it apparently. I must say there were some really good dishes that we ordered. The ox tail and pig trotters were soft and well seasoned. But the grilled Iberian pork and grilled chicken had ZERO seasoning. Just plain and rubbery. Maybe that's the way it is. Maybe not. But there was zero taste. However we were able to salvage most of the plates by dunking the meat pieces in the pork trotter sauce. And we were all hungry and just wanted to be done and out of there. We left 75% of our salad and various lettuce from other plates, as we picked our way through the brown stuff, in order to not waste more food than needed. We also hoped somebody back in the kitchen would realize that most of the greens had not been touched. But there was no word by the end of dinner and we quickly paid and left. We passed the waitress on the way out and there was not a single word out of her mouth. We even had to pay at the bar and that guy also did not say a single word. I have been an Elite Yelper for 7 years and I have only written 2 other reviews of less than 4 stars. I don't want to hurt anybody's business. I figure a bad restaurant will eventually put itself out of business. But, this is the third time in my life that I'm writing up a less than 4 star review. Bc they deserve it. The 1 star is for the wonderful decor and 1/3 of the dishes that were very good. It really is a pity. We were expecting so much more from the experience-our last meal together in Spain before going home tomorrow. Unfortunately, 2 out of 7 of us had to go hungry (they didn't touch their food and the rest of us had to eat half their plates for them) and go elsewhere for food afterwards. Really a shame. We're staying just down the street from it and were looking forward to staying at the bar and drinking afterwards. The poor service and food made us run out of there.

Tapas range from 4,50 to 16€. Many tapas focused on uncooked proteins like tartare and ceviche, and I wasn't I interested in those. The taco was mostly diced onion and red bell pepper. The shrimp tempura was nice with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp, potatoes, and mango salad was unsurprisingly mild. The pork with gorgonzola sauce was very fatty and boring, as if they forgot the gorgonzola.

The restaurant is beautifully done with an industrial aesthetic that feels effortless yet edgy. The kitchen is elevated and open so you can watch the food being meticulously prepared by the chefs. The service was outstanding, every server was attentive to all of our needs and requests. The chef came and spoke with us at our table about dietary restrictions, and even customized a few dishes for us. The ingredients spoke for themselves: fresh and of the highest quality, the flavors in the food were top-notch. I see that some other reviewers have had some issues, but for us everything was perfect. This was not only the best food we had in Sevilla, but also ranks amongst the best food we had in over two weeks in Spain. The only complaint I have is that there is not an Umami in Los Angeles so we can enjoy this more often! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, delicious restaurant in Sevilla. Bonus points for being so centrally located!
