I last saw Dr. Chung for insomnia and a kidney stone on my left side. Her bedside manner is very kind and concise. She always explains to me in her very strong accent exactly where the root of my pain is--sometimes it's not where you think which is really cool. Oh! If you have trouble understanding her accent just go with it she knows what she's talking about! Dr. Chung first gave me a massage which focused on pressure points and loosening me up. Don't expect a traditional western massage when coming here. Dr. Chung is an authentic Chinese practitioner so her techniques are in line w/ that. If it hurts a little that's a good thing that's where your problem area is so no pain no gain. After the massage Dr. Chung administered acupuncture to to my legs and stomach w/ tiny needles that didn't hurt at all. She added little electrodes from an acupuncture machine which fortified the treatment and in her words "stimulate the cells" for repair. For my kidney stone she gave me a one month supply of chinese herbs for a reasonable price. I drink them once a day and she even gave me a sample to taste. It tasted so good like chocolate milk. I think she said the herbs also cured one of her patients' gallbladder issues. Again, this is an authentic Chinese practitioner don't come in expecting western techniques.
