Rick has helped me on the road to recovery after a total hip replacement in May 2024 I was able to hike in Glacier National Park in July after a big set back. He also got me ready to do several hikes including Tom Thumb in Phoenix in December. I believe the cupping and scraping and deep muscle work has enabled me to run again. I'm not 100% yet, but I'm 70 years old so I credit Rick as being key in my progress by keeping fascia from tightening and reminding me to be respectful of the healing process. read more

Very dishonorable business. If I can give XERO stars, I would. This business is a ripoff! I prepaid for 10 massage sessions and used only 2. Today I called to book another massage was advised that my remaining 8 sessions have expired due to a change in policies. I was NEVER notified of the policy changes or given the opportunity to use my remaining sessions prior to the "new expiration" policy. Now, in order to use the sessions that I've already paid for, I'd have to pay again. NO Thank you! I suggested forfeiting 1/2 of my 8 sessions and use only 4 as a concession but the owner wouldn't budge. Totally greedy in my opinion. Beware of being ripped off. Update: When I purchased the 10 sessions, there was no expiration date. That was the terms I purchased under. The business decides to change the policy without notifying me and now will not let me use the sessions I purchased, not even half of the remaining sessions. If I was notified, I would have used them. Since they had no expiration when I purchased them, how would I have known? I explained to him that I did not know therefore did not have the opportunity to use them. He still refused service for the sessions that were paid for. THE BEST massage I have ever got!!!! I saw this place on Groupon deal just the other day and I immediately bought the deal when I saw Trigger point massage! I have been having an intense pain on my shoulders and I have been having sciatica problem for years. After one hour massage session my body felt so much lighter. She took her time for my sciatica pain and I feel the best ever since I started having my sciatica problem 11 years ago! I want to give this place 1000 stars instead of 5 stars!!! Julia was my massage therapist. She really knows what she was doing. You have pain? You need to come to this place! Try the Groupon deal just to see if you like it. It's only $29 for one hour session. (Make sure you tip the therapist the minimum 20% of $65 which what they usually charge for one hour deep tissue massage) It's not a fancy place like other massage/spa places but you would feel much better and you will be painless after an hour of deep tissue massage! I bought this special on Groupon an hour for $26. Walked in and it was dark with some music playing. I was in one of the room getting ready and I was kinda scared because it's a bed room in like a mobile home and it gave me a scary feeling. The decorations in the room was a bit out dated. The lady is awesome I didn't get her name :( she asked what I needed and what's hurting me. I never had pressure point massage before and I love it at first I wasn't relaxed because they were playing non spa music I wished they played soft and relaxing music it would of been better but she was really good. Have you ever received an obligatory massage from your spouse? This was reminiscent of that experience. Even for a $29 Groupon massage, this was not good. The place itself is like an old, sparsely decorated house. The massage table was so short that my legs/feet dangled uncomfortably over the edge. The massage itself (45 minutes instead of an hour) was described as a "trigger point" session but was more akin to the overly-enthusiastic application of lotion with knuckles. Also, a big pet-peeve of mine is when a massage seems frenetic and unfocused (left shoulder to right hip to ankle and back up to the low back all in the matter of a minute or two). Because of these factors, I left the massage unsatisfied with the same amount of shoulder/neck/back pain that I came in with. My mom and I were very excited to get massages! We called the morning of, and had to book back to back (3:00 and 4:00). We came in and were shocked to be greeted with such hostility and rudeness. The main woman would not let us use our Groupon because calling the morning of is apparently the same as a walk-in (which we were never told). I had my third deep tissue massage there today and have left feeling refreshed and wonderful each time! Both Bernadina and Rick use Chinese acupressure and meridian techniques during the massage and I felt like I was getting an education on muscles and the body as well. Soft lighting, Himalayan salt lamps, scented lotions and oils, a hot towel, nice music and incense create a relaxing mood, and the massage table is very comfortable. I was so happy to call and get an appointment for the same day! I was in a lot of pain due to compressed disc and stenosis plus a reverse cervical curve. We did a thorough albeit brief intake prior to my session and he was in the room promptly once I was ready. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. Once on the table Rick did an amazing job with a thorough and deep sports massage with trigger point Therapy. I was a little concerned with the amount of pressure but it is now the next day and I have just a little soreness but my range of motion is excellent and pain level is definitely decreased. Rick is a great therapist. I'm also an LMT and have had my fair share of mediocre messages. This was definitely not mediocre. I have been a therapist for over 16 years and Rick knows his anatomy and is not afraid to use a good amount of pressure. Thanks so much!! read more

The WORST experience I've had at a message place. I had a groupon coupon as a gift and decided to try this place. I've been to many message places but this one is special as the lady who was about to do the message insisted that the coupon is for deep tissue, and I said fine as long as it does the job and relieve me of the pain in my shoulders and neck. When she started she was extremely heavy with her elbow and I asked her to just go easy as I'm getting hurt. She said she can't do that as this is a deep tissue and if I want the light message I'll have to pay 20 dollars extra !!!! I said I don't mind but I still want to be able to get relief from the message and if the light one does not do the job I don't wish to go with it and I want the deep tissue but I'm asking her to go easy on it. She said she can't!!!!!!! I said fine, I got dressed up and left. This was the rudest masseuse I've met and the worst experience. Stay away. read more

Save the hassle Groupon has confirmed that they violated their fine print. I booked a 6pm appointment they asked for the voucher number I told him I will give it to him when I get there. I get there at 5:36pm they don't inform me till 6:07pm that they booked someone else because I never gave them the voucher number. This is not how Groupon works. You inform the merchant about the Groupon voucher and give it after services rendered. A massage is supposed to be relaxing, stress release, a time to unwind this is beyond the most stressful waste of my hour and half to get there wait and get home ever. The owners/management didn't even try to make good on their mistake instead threatened to call the police because I was upset and had every right to be so. When someone tells you 6pm that is exactly what the means. In my book it means 5:45 at the latest. Instead someone else who walked in at 5:58 was brought into the massage room right away then they talked to me after to try and avoid me at all costs. Honestly this massage place is maybe a step up from a run down happy ending massage parlor anyways. Stay away from spend the extra 5 bucks on a much better place. To add more to this I never did get a massage as I had dinner plans for 7:152 and no way of rescheduling nor would I after this unprofessional experience starting from the lobby. I gave them the option to fix their mistake and they refused to even try. It took me a few tries before I found this place, I would highly recommend if you need a massage for pain. Other places I've went to, I explain I am looking for relief from my back pain, I get a relaxing massage with no long term results. The woman I saw, I can't remember her name, she listened to everything I had to say and gave me a deep tissue massage. Fantastic massage! I used the Groupon and had no issues. Rick was incredibly helpful over the phone and did an unbelieveable job on the massage. My husband and I both got a massage and were both very, very happy. It's been about two weeks and I still feel amazing. He worked areas I didn't even realize I had pain. My only sort of criticism/recommendation is they should maybe ask clients if they have any conditions or injuries to avoid because it was a very intense massage. I personally loved it and had no problems, but I could see that getting him into trouble if someone is not expecting it. I had never had a true thereaputic massage before and this was just fantastic. He also gave great insight into what was causing the pain and tightness and how I can help keep those areas loose with stretching. Way above and beyond excpectations. I booked a reflexology appointment for my sister and myself. Both the outside and the inside of the facility look a bit sketchy and not what one would expect. There was a child on the premises that appeared to be the owners who seemed a bit unhappy that day. The owner appears to be an experience massage therapist but was very unprofessionally dressed the day we were there. The person who is working with him does not appear to have professional background. At least they turned off the cartoons on the television after they began our session. We sat on a reclining sofa in the reception/living area. My sister said her services were excellent and were professional reflexology. I did get a nice foot massage but it wasn't reflexology. The facility seems to be a house that has been converted into a business. I rated the facility three stars because my sister said her services were excellent. read more
