Went for a septum (mine is slightly deviated but not severe) and it was crooked even after 4 weeks so I had to take it out to get redone at another shop. Would recommended going elsewhere for anatomy-dependent piercings. This is the most amazing place for piercings! I had my nose done previously in a shop not nearly as good as this location. It became infected after a few months, and I had to let it close up. I was reluctant to get it redone, but I missed the aesthetic and everyone in my life loved how I looked with it. After much consideration, I decided to go to this shop because of the amazing reviews. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. Everything was very sterile and I was walked through every step. THE PIERCING BARELY HURT. When I had my piercing last time, it hurt for 2-3 days after. This time, it stung when it was initially pierced but immediately stopped. The best of the best, and I am NO piercing novice. I have been pierced at countless studios by countless piercers throughout the years, and, well, this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to post on Yelp. My friend and I chose Body Anthology on a whim after reading many positive reviews on Facebook, Google, and Yelp. I was leery about letting anyone but Jeremiah at Good Life in Akron pierce me (another great piercer/studio), but we were in the area, and one thing led to another. I originally wanted my daiths pierced, but Tyson did not recommend the piercing for my ears, stating there would be a high chance of rejection. Points scored right away. For all he knew, I had no other ideas in mind, and very well could have turned around and walked out of the shop. I didn't; I knew there was a chance of what he ended up telling me, and had several ideas in mind, actually. I settled on double tragus piercings. Tyson was amazing, explaining his way through the piercing process and what he did behind the scenes to sterilize our jewelry. He was patient, efficient, and extremely sweet. I explained I sometimes get dizzy from low blood pressure (and that pain triggered that), and he let me lay on the table for about five minutes after my piercings were complete. The pain of the piercings literally felt like a pinch; he was extremely fast. Normally my piercings (especially ear) would throb the rest of the day, but I felt literally no pain. Even now (day 3). Highly recommended. My friend loves her industrial, too. We'll be back. read more

very friendly but not helpful. charged $40 Per ear and when I came back a week later because my ears had swollen so much and the earring had fallen out due to it being swollen, they told me i could come in and pay the same price to get them pierced again. Made a piercing appointment for a body piercing. Received a confirmation text message for my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by a gentleman who had an attitude that told me he would rather be anywhere other than where he was. We asked for some pictures and some information for the piercing selection and he informed us that we were late for our appointment. He had us scheduled for a 6:00 appointment even though we told him our confirmation was for 6:30. We made the decision to seek our piercing at a different shop that did not have an attitude and actually wanted out business. Would not recommend this shop! read more

A friend and I came in to get a septum and a nostril piercing and Nate was great. He made sure to be completely thorough with sanitization during Covid and going through our paperwork. He didn't rush us through any of the process which was a nice change from the last shop I went to. My friend was extra nervous but he was super patient with her. I got my nipples pierced today, and I was very impressed. Nathan gave his honest opinion that he thought one of the piercings might not turn out well. We agreed to try it and see what would happen. He explained everything thoroughly, and answered all of my questions. He showed me how he verified that the sterilization equipment had done its job. I appreciated that he changed his gloves every time he touched a potentially contaminated surface -- he changed his gloves more frequently than my doctors do. :-) The actual piercing was not what I expected. I was extremely nervous when I saw the tool he would be using -- I was afraid it would take a long time to finish and I would not be able to handle the pain. The first piercing was no worse than the eyebrow wax I'd had earlier in the day. The second was more painful, but it was over relatively quickly. Definitely a positive experience and if my body does okay with these piercings, I might try another one. read more

I decided to get my ears pierced at Body Anthology because I had my ears pierced two previous times when I was a child and had to let them close up because of allergies so I had a lot of scar tissue in my ears. Chris was the clinician that pierced my ears and I have to say I could not have been happier! He took his time to make sure that my earrings would be even, and he did a great job! If you're looking for a place to get a piercing done, there is no other place to go. The shop is clean, professional and I can not imagine anyone finding better. About a year ago, I was looking for a place to get my nipples pierced. When I found Body Anthogy, I knew I was set. Their website alone is enough to be convincing -- they take piercing seriously with certifications and memberships to professional organizations. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I'd prefer someone sticking a needle through my skin to have as much education on it as possible. From the moment I made the appointment, I knew I'd picked the right place. I did the piercing tandem (with two piercers at the same time) with Chris at the lead. Chris is very passionate about piercing and you immediately feel at ease with his knowledge and experience. He also explains the entire process and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way. My piercings have now healed perfectly and I've gone back to Chris for new jewelry questions, purchases and changing. He gives you every option when you have ridiculous piercing naive questions like "can I get something that is like pinkish rose gold colored??" and I've never felt like he was trying to push a sale or pressure me to purchase something. They make it clear they are there to change jewelry you purchase or even take a look about something you're concerned about at no charge and without giving you a hard time. This shop was recommended to me by a tattoo artist at a different shop. I had one nostril pierced 3 years ago and I wanted to get the other one done for that symmetrical look. I had to wait a few months because I had gone to another shop and they botched it. Just walking into the shop I was impressed. Very clean, and I was greeted immediately. My artist's name was Chris. He was very professional and very personable, making me ALMOST forget that I came there to get a needle shoved through my nostril. He was very knowledgeable of his craft and made sure I didn't have any lingering questions before the piercing went underway. This had to be the least painful piercing I have undergone, and I have had many. And he didn't rush me out the door, either. He showed compassion as he had me wait a little to leave in case I got dizzy or faint. I've never had a piercer do that before. The wait was not too long despite the amount of people getting services done around the same time as me. I got Chris as a piercer. He was clean and sterilized all the equipment thoroughly, he explained the process step by step, and answered all my questions. I came into Body Anthology today to pick out a new piece of jewelry for one of my ear piercings (a slightly unconventional triangular fossa piercing) and had a wonderful experience. The shop was clean, the selection of jewelry was good, and the abundant credentials of the employees were visibly displayed on the lobby wall. Nate took care of the jewelry swap and was professional and positive. I think that the service of swapping out jewelry for the customer is a hallmark of an excellent shop. It's very difficult to do it yourself without dropping something, especially when dealing with high quality, internally threaded jewelry, so it's nice when the service is included. I would have no hesitations sending someone here to get a piercing. I've gotten piercings at Body Anthology, both by Tyson and Chris. Both times were a very smooth process the prices were reasonable for what I was looking at and everyone at the shop was very nice and professional. I had been wanting to start working on a half sleeve tattoo and noticed Keith's posts on Facebook on Body Anthology's page. I went in for a piercing with Chris, talked Keith got an idea for the cost of what I was looking at getting. My husband ended up getting me a gift certificate for the piece I showed Keith for Christmas. I went back after Christmas and did a consult firmed up the details as to what I was looking for, we instantly clicked as to what I wanted. I scheduled the appointment and now have 3 pieces completed for my sleeve. Anytime I have I new idea I send it to Keith he draws it up and it has always been exactly what I was looking for. I have gotten a ton of compliments on all my pieces that he has done, and my husband is working on a Batman villain sleeve with Keith also. We always get asked who does our work and I carry a stack of Keith's cards with me to pass out. I have several friends that are scheduling appointments with because they can see his work first hand.
