My review for Body Arch Fitness is long overdue! I've been working out with them since August 2011. I discovered them through a LivingSocial deal and have been with them ever since. I have tried other fitness classes but Body Arch Fitness surpasses them by far. Kaveh and Cyrus are both truly amazing trainers!!! The workouts are intense and fun at the same time. Each day provides a different workout with a mixture of cardio and strength training. Not only do you have them motivating you, but they are constantly pushing you to the limit too. I bought a deal through groupon for1 month unlimited boot camp. I did mine at Garfield Park in the pm time. Overall, it was a good experience. There were a lot of return clients,who seem to be happy with the program. This appears to be owned by two brothers. They both have very different style of teaching. Cyrus teaches at Garfield Park. Kaveh teaches at the Rosebowl. All you need is to bring a yoga mat . You work at your own pace. They also give you easier workout if you are new. I would have continue on with the program except it was very expensive after the groupon. I didn't lose any weight, but it was fun to work out with bunch of people. Ps if it rains, you are out of luck since it is in the outdoor uncover area. Also, if you hate an audience,, this place is not for you. I purchased the one month trial special from LivingSocial and have been going regularly for the last week. Let me tell you, the first day was VERY painful, as I am pretty out of shape. The workout was tough(!), but Cyrus took pity on me being that it was my first day and he really wanted me to come back (I think). After a week, the workouts still hurt, but not as much. I like how no two workouts are the same, which makes it more exciting for me. As they say, variety is the spice of life. Cyrus's workouts are a mix of cardio and strength training. He's very tough, but I like that because I need the push. Before each exercise, Cyrus explains and demonstrates what he wants us to do and will walk around helping us if we're not doing the exercise correctly. We are constantly moving and little time is given between reps. Once my month's trial ends, I will definitely sign up with them again. Looking forward to seeing great results! read more

I have completed my first month of boot camp and am excited to continue for at least a few more months before my nov wedding. I found body arch fitness through an amazon local deal and am so glad I did. I have a membership at 24 hour fitness and stopped feeling motivated. I've had a few trainers there but nothing compares to the boot camp with Kaveh and Cyrus. They do make it challenging everyday but they motivate you. it's not easy waking up to attend a 630am class but I feel absolutely amazing after. Plus it's real nice to have lost 4.3% body fat in my first month too! The results would have been even better had I gone more than 3x/week and ate clean everyday! There are only three reasons why one should work out. 1. To feel good 2. To look good 3. To prepare for a zombie apocalypse Body Arch Fitness will allow you to accomplish all three! I purchased the Living Social deal for the two week unlimited boot camp and it was an amazing investment. The classes meet M-Friday 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. Me, being a courageous fool choose the 6:30 am class and although it was a struggle getting out of bed, it was AMAZING. The work out is something you can do on your own (no equipment needed) but it targets most of your muscles. There wasn't a day my gluts, abs, calves, arms weren't sore from working them out. But above all else I SAW RESULTS. I took other boot camps and didn't see the same results I seen here. (Granted I did change my diet) But I felt amazing waking up before the sun busted my ass off sweating, getting my shit tight. And after two weeks I saw the difference especially in my ab region, which I always had problems shedding. Cyrus is a fantabulous trainer (6:30am class). He was gentle without being too sheltering. He pushed me without being critical of my shortcomings but above all else he motivated me to keep going. There were times I was sure I wanted to quit but I kept going because of the support from Cyrus and the other boot campers. Kiva or Kavea (not sure the spelling) teaches the evening class and I had the pleasure of working out with him. He's more humorous in a stern way so not only are you gonna get a great workout but you will probably work them abs out from laughing. Both are great instructors with a great program. I didn't believe I would see results but everyone from my family, friends and boyfriend noticed the difference and that's what counts! I do exercise on a regular basis but have been feeling unchallenged lately and decided to go the bootcamp route. My session was at Garfield Park in South Pasadena (they meet outside by the tennis courts). You are suppose to bring a mat and a set of weights with you each session. The workout was challenging but went by very fast. It focused a lot on cardio and upper body strength. I knew that I was going to pay the price for this workout as soon as I left and three days later I am still sore. I loved working out outdoors and look forward to another session. read more

If you are looking for a trainer who really cares about your well-being AND is truly knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, then Body Arch is for you. I've been attending Kaveh's bootcamp sessions every weekend for the past couple of years, and my body still gets surprised and sore! I have had many trainers in the past at some well known gyms, and none compare to the care that Kaveh gives, and he really works personally with you to track your tailored progress. I tried a personal trainer a few months ago and that did not go so well. I was so discouraged. I came accross an Amazon deal for Body Arch Fitness and decided to try it. So happy I did. I never thought I would be able to do most of the work outs Kaveh has us doing. It is a challenge for sure, but you leave feeling great. I tell him I have a love/hate relationship with him. He loves to kick your behind. I will be starting my second month next Monday! Definetly recommend you try it! Plus everyone there is so friendly and encouraging. read more

I posted a review about them like back in Oct of 2011. Let hope this one sticks. I went to them because I got a Living Social deal for one unlimited month for boot camp. I got it for a while but really didn't want to go, it was pure laziness. I actually waited til one day before the vochure was going to expire to even call to sign up. With that said, they are great. They kinda take it easy on my first week. But afterwards, it's no holds bar! Everytime I go they make my legs feel like jello, arms burning from the pain. And my abs, lets just say I didn't know they were there. BIG plus my co workers are telling me I look fantasic! I'm going into my 3rd week and still loving it. All the trainers are nice and great at what they do. If my work schedule would permit, I would go 7 days a week. But til then, I'll stick to my 3-4 days a weeks. I will end up joining at the regular rate after my Living Social ends. So what are you waiting for, CALL THEM! read more

The premise of Body Arch Fitness is simple, you bring your own dumbbells, your yoga mat, and your water to one of two public park locations, and they put you through a bunch of exercises using your dumbbells or your own body weight for the hour... you are bringing everything, you are doing all the work, why do they get paid you ask? well, for me there are two reasons: Kaveh and Cyrus! These two brothers are cool dudes who make you feel welcomed and motivated to get your body in shape... each of them host boot camp at one of the two locations and from time to time, they organize a "battle of the boot camps" between the groups that go to the two different locations... these are always fun events and keep you motivated on getting better so you can do well in these competitions! I did boot camp with Kaveh and Cyrus for a month, then my deal expired and I had purchased coupons for other gyms to use at that time, but if price is right in the future with similar deals, I would definitely go back to work out with them in a heart beat! read more

I've had a lot of trainers and they just don't compare. I feel lucky enough to have trained with Kaveh. Beyond his vast knowledge of fitness and nutrition, he's just an overall nice guy. I actually just tried Body Arch just to try something different I was pretty lazy rarely did more than work eat and watch TV. i figured it was time to do something more so I saw the deal on Groupon and figured I didn't have anything to lose but pounds. That 1st week I was so sore!! But I loved it! The trainers are great Kaveh and Cyrus are great trainers who are very attentive to each person in the group. It's a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. My muscle tone has increased greatly and I'm on my 3rd month . i actually look forward to going now. I highly recommend them. read more

Cyrus and Kaveh are genuine guys that truly care about their clients. They have great personalities which makes it easy to get along with them. The workouts are a mixture of cardio and strength training held at two locations (Rose bowl and Garfield Park). Each trainer has a different style of working out, I enjoy both of them. The workouts push you to the limit but the trainers never force you to do something you can't do. You are free to alternate between the two locations or between the AM and the PM class. Body Arch Fitness was the first place I joined a bootcamp. I got a LivingSocial deal and a friend of mine joined with me. We were so scared by the sound of "bootcamp" we didnt know what to expect. Suprisingly, we're 3 weeks into it and its been really fun. Kaveh and Cyrus are great trainers. They keep you pumped and push you to do your best. Unlike what I thought bootcamps were... there isn't someone screaming or blowing their whistle in my ear. They are encouraging and motivating. I'm going to continue with Body Arch bootcamps.. Body Arch Fitness has proved to be the best summer gift for me from myself !! I started working out with Cyrus and Kaveh since end of May 2012 and by now I am so addicted to this boot camp. I was never an athletic person or even a regular at the Gym. Although I used to enjoy Zumba twice a week, it never toned my body the way I wanted. However when I started working out at the Garfield Park with Cyrus and my fellow boot campers, I could totally see the difference not only in my body shape but also in my overall strength, stamina and endurance. Moreover when my family, friends and co-workers admired my new look, I was on cloud nine. I like the way how we work on a different muscle group each time, which makes a work out full with little surprises. Boot Camp has always seemed extremely intimidating to me but I was also strangely fascinated by it. A couple of months ago an opportunity presented itself, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. SO glad we did! Both Kaveh and Cyrus are so welcoming and awesome. We didn't feel weird at all. They take the time to make sure that newbies are doing their exercises correctly and if you have any issues, they are happy to give you alternatives so that you can keep working. Once you get comfortable, they are more than happy to push you to your limit. I feel like I have gotten much stronger in the 2 months that I have been working out with them and am strangely addicted to going. We talk about it at work so much, we've even convinced 2 more of our coworkers to join us. If you are on the fence, I recommend hopping on over and giving Body Arch a try. read more

This is my ninth month with Body Arch Fitness . My dearest friend called me and told me about the Social Living Deal. My daughter at that time had just completed her senior year in high school and gained her " freshman fifteen" as a senior in high school through the college application process. I thought this would be a great way to get these pounds off of "her" before college. After the first few sessions I had enough I was sore, but I would wake to " come on Mom it is time to go to Boot Camp" . I was stuck. I wish I could send send you the before and after pictures of my beautiful daughter from just 2 months of the encouragement of the trainers at BodyArch Fitness. I thought I was in shape before I started , but how I saw myself in Rose colored glasses. Now after this time I can tell you at age 52 that I will never give this up. I feel great ! I can wear so many fun clothes. I can actually lift my carry on in an over head container on an airplane. I look completely different - women that I know on the tennis courts have approached me and have accused me of being a "teenager". When the alarm rings at 6 am my husband will ask " arn't you going to boot camp" . But this is not about me (surprise). This is about the a click of a mouse I took that changed my life. Cyrus and Kavvee are princes. I am a physician . When patients used to tell me that they get up and work out at 6am I would think " good for you, but never for me". How wrong I was. This is honestly one of the best things I have ever done. You owe to yourself to try it for a week- one session is not a good indicator for you will most likely be sore. read more

I highly recommend Body Arch Fitness to anyone on the fence about getting into good healthy shape. I was the average 99%-er who absolutely hated any kind of exercise + boot camp sounded particularly torturous(!) ...My first day at Body Arch Fitness boot camp was surprisingly fun, yet rigorous and challenging at the same time [I now affectionately call it 'bruuutal boot camp']. I usually give myself every excuse in the book NOT to return 'bruutal' workouts....yet something pulled me back to the challenge - so I've been going back every since [4-5 days/week] for nearly 2 months....I say the proof is in the results: so far I've lost 16 lbs, 3 dress sizes + 8% body fat in 6wks! Kaveh and his brother Cyrus are outstanding instructors -- very disciplined, well-informed and engaging. Kaveh is a consummate professional w/ an incredible work[-out] ethic, and a great mix of being super challenging, friendly and motivating at the same time [some serious TOUGH love!].
