At first Alexus did a good job, but over time she started making cuts/ trims in ways I did not like and had not told her to do. Each time I told her I do not like these weird cuts. After several haircuts/beard trims, I think I finally got through to here and the last time I was in which was 5 weeks ago, she did a good job. I am always early so today (02/07/2026 as I was sitting in the parking watch as I am always early for my appointment at 10:00am. She took a new customer in at 09:43am. So I went inside at 09:55, and she was working on this customers hair, she did not greet me or say sorry I am running late, not a single word. I sat and waited until 10:10am then I walked out. Thinking that she must not want to cut my hair or trim my beard anymore as she has screwed up so many times before. At 10.22am, she starts calling me, but I was driving and don't talk on the phone when driving. At 10:33 she sent me a text, saying she assumed I was not going to get my haircut. Then went on to say sometimes she runs late, not knowing I was sitting in the parking lot and know what time she took that customer in, Had she not done that she would not have been running late. Then she told me that because of me she has a gap in her schedule and if I want her to cut my hair in the future I have to pay her for today. What a joke, trying to blame me for something she caused! I live 20 miles away and so I drive there just to get a decent haircut and beard trim. Not sure if I will find another stylist at at Grit or take my business somewhere else. MAYBE THE NEW OWNERS NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO HOW THERE STYLIST ARE DOING AND CUTOMER TREATMENT!!!

She took the time on the areas that needed the attention while still addressing my whole body in an hour! I feel like a completely new woman today! A more accurate description of my massage would be 2 hands and 2 feet: one therapist massaged my arms and legs while the extremely talented Coco walked on my back, arms, legs and neck. Also known as Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, this was the most thorough, effective, deep tissue massage I have ever experienced. Reminded them it was a foot massage, a loud exchange in another language ensued, they realized our clothing limits of socks and shoes were enough and a few minutes later the massage began. The women were preoccupied with other customers throughout the session, getting up, answering the phone and taking appointments (just fyi, they don't write anything down), telling one that he could wait by himself in another room for 30 minutes (?) The woman who massaged my feet didn't have great technique, my husband reported the same. Attached is a picture of their bathroom. They also have a sign when you walk in saying something to the effect of 'we don't do anything illegal, don't even ask.' I wish it was better, I had high hopes.
