My cousin had…read moregotten me a Groupon deal for a 60-minute massage during the Holidays, which was perfect because my body had been aching really badly. Upon arriving, I found parking easily. I took the stairs to the second floor and went to the suite. When I entered the office, the owner, Alex, and a staff member greeted me right away. They had me fill out a form for my basic information. Then Alex asked me what kind of massage I wanted (deep-tissue, stretching, areas to concentrate on, any pains, etc.) and if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. I didn't have a preference for the gender of the masseuse, so Alex did my massage. He showed me the room and it was pretty cozy. The massage bed was heated and wow! It felt amazing already! After taking off my clothes (except undergarment), I laid on the bed under the covers face down. Then Alex knocked and came in, and confirmed what to work on in the 60 minutes. He started with my back and neck and worked his way to arms/hands, legs/feet, and then put hot towels on my back. It felt awesome. I thought the massage was finished but Alex instructed me to turn over, so I was like--wow, the massage was so good that I thought it was done already. He did stretches, physical therapy moves, massaged my collar bone areas (my first time), and asked me how the pressure was throughout the session. He was very professional, respectful, and passionate. You can tell that he was good because he pinpointed where my pains were and asked if what he was doing was helping to relieve the areas. At the end of the session, Alex thanked me and told me to take my time in the room and he will be at the front. When I went to the front after getting dressed, he gave me a bottled water and asked me how I felt, if the pains are still there, and what did I think of the massage. He said he is the owner and told me about the specials they are having if I wanted to go back. He was not pushy at all and was respectful. His English was not great but he really tried and we were able to communicate anyways. The plaza itself is kind of dingy but the massage place is fine in my opinion. It's truly a gem in Miami. The restroom isn't very appealing design-wise but it is functional. I would recommend this business, as the service itself was great and parking is free. You can really tell that the owner really cares and wants the best for his clients. I would definitely come back again.

It was a little further away but I'm glad we were able to check out this part of Miami. Coral Gables is a super cute neighborhood. This establishment was pretty clean. The walls are very thin so you can hear other's conversations, but it didn't bother me as much. I wish I knew my therapist's name so I can book again when in town. I asked the lady their names when I was paying but she seemed a little confused on who worked on us, maybe because of the switching of therapists in between? The rating of the stars is very challenging for me because of all the above factors. I'd say atmosphere is 5 stars. My massage was 4 stars. My partner says 2.5 stars once the second person took over. The second therapist was pretty much just rubbing instead of massaging. She started massaging her face without asking. And did a weird stomach massage without asking. Out of all the massages I've gotten, and I get them pretty often, I've never had anyone work on my stomach. I found that to be a bit odd.

She was massaging my foot with one hand and taking money out of my wallet with the other. I went to the ATM across the street just before going in there. I withdrew $240, counted it and put it in my wallet. When I got up from the massage, I opened my wallet and there was only $200 left in there. I was going to leave her a really good tip, but she helped herself to it.
