This is by far the best place for consultations and a way to zen out. The massages are awesome and the acupuncture helps so much. It's a great deal here especially that they take insurance. I have gone twice for deep tissue massages with Lindi and she is excellent for at her job! I surprised my husband for his birthday and booked him for one before his birthday and he was so happy I did. I will be going back for my next massage very soon! I did laser on my face and mustache for 8 months and it dis not work for me . My hair is growing thick . I let them know this but they never offered me extra sessions or any discount or solution. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Regina Oyarce and her staff at Benessere. I have been seeing Dr. Oyarce for almost a month now for acupuncture treatments and it has been a wonderful experience. My insurance plan covers acupuncture but unfortunately has very limited providers on the plan. I was upset knowing I'd have to drive to Doral from Kendall, but after meeting Dr. Oyarce and after my initial consultation with her, I am happy to make the trip each week. I had been suffering from a severe tension headache for a couple of weeks when I finally decided to seeking treatment from an acupuncturist. After a few sessions, the "magic needles" as I like to call them, worked in alleviating the pain I had. She is kind and compassionate acupuncture doctor and I highly recommend her! read more

I called in one day to make a same-day appointment as I had a sharp pain in my neck. The receptionist mentioned over the phone they work with my health insurance but that they didn't have the billing person in the office so she couldn't confirm my benefits the same day. I went in regardless, thinking I could pay out of pocket and file a claim since they "work" with my insurance, right? So I went in and everyone was extremely nice, specially the receptionist. I got a 30min neck and back massage. It was good, relieving. I kept wishing though that the masseuse would go deeper, I mentioned he could be tougher on me (Im used to deep tissue.) Regina, the acupuncturist and I believe business owner, was really nice and kept talking about details. To be frank though, Im not sure what the couple of needles she put in my body did, I had already got relief from the massage. After the acupuncture (about 15 m of lying down with the needles) she came in and tried to to fix some knots that I had still in my neck. So, everything was good up until billing. This is a business that works with health insurances, knows in advance Im gonna file a claim and they send me a digital receipt that doesn't even have a description of treatment or the physician's name? I had to ask and wait for Regina (who clearly didn't like being asked) to produce something I could use with the insurance. After leaving I was even willing to come back for a second appointment but they called me only the day before to let me know that they are out of network and I had to keep paying out of pocket. It was misleading to say they work with my specific network (maybe I should have asked specifically if they were in-network) so this wasn't expected. The Health Insurance also asked me for the business tax ID number that wasn't in the receipt and the receptionist told me right away they couldn't provide that. I honestly don't know if this is something normal to give out, but I also don't believe my Health Insurance (which has never failed me) would ask for something that can't be put in a receipt. Im not coming back to this place because of how disorganized and misinformed the process was. And even if the actual service was decent, I can't justify paying $100 (plus tips) for a 30m massage and lying in the dark with a couple of needles in my body when I have paid less for extremely good full body deep tissue massages that have provided me with far more relief. read more

Dr. Oyarce helped me a lot with acupuncture when I had a problem with my shoulder. Now I am back to treat my chronic back pain. After a couple of visits I feel much better. The spine feel more flexible and the inflammation and pain are subsiding. read more

Benessere is EXCELLENT !!! I honestly don't know what I would do without Regina and her wonderful staff !! I suffer from neck and shoulder pain due to the amount of hours I'm seating in front of a computer and was referred to Regina from a colleague of mine who has been going to Benessere for the past 3 years and I have to say I wish I would've started going sooner !!! Regina does the acupuncture for about 15-20 minutes and it is followed by a 30 minutes massage which helps sooo much with the pain and discomfort. I LOVE Stephanie, she's my go to masseuse, although the others are as good as well. I also get my facials & laser hair removal with Jabibi who is so knowledgeable and such a nice person to talk to and educate you about your skin. I love the fact that it is more than a business, it feels more like a small family to me and Ana is always there to greet you with a beautiful and welcoming smile. Doctor Regina definitely cares about her patient's well being and the prices are very reasonable, they also take insurance for the acupuncture (not every insurance covers it but if you have a good plan most likely it will).and they really go above and beyond to accommodate all the sessions to your schedule. 100% recommend Benessere !!! read more

Regina has come to treat my Bells Pals since January of 2013, with her caring theraputic massage treatment and herbal medicine has made my disease tolerable and at 99% in the curable stage at this moment . After making an appointment 6 days ahead of time, once I arrived they were running extremely late, though never called me to let me know. As a new patient I needed to fill out forms, however the forms can only be filled out via iPad, and they only have 1 iPad, so I waited around for 30 minutes for someone else to finish filling out their own forms, and then was told that the employee administering that person's treatment needed the single iPad to do their treatment. So after wasting 30 minutes of my time, while 3 employees who could have been performing my previously scheduled appointment were standing around doing nothing, I was told to wait longer, so I left. The one and only positive thing about this place is that once completely frustrated, I was able to walk next door to a great Italian grocery store and get some chocolate truffles. In summary, unless you have plenty of time to waste sitting around, I would advise steering clear of this establishment at all costs. read more
