Went today for my appointment that was scheduled October 2024 during my last appointment there and when I got to Body Details, I found the lights off and the door is locked. There was no signage saying anything regarding bankruptcy or the store now being closed. I should've known something was wrong when I didn't get a confirmation email as I normally have gotten in the past. I paid for the lifetime unlimited laser in multiple areas. I have spent over five figures on laser with this company due to them having this lifetime guarantee and now just to find out all my money is gone without any notice. The least they could've done was sent an email to their customers to let us know, this is so unprofessional of this company. Body Details and BANK CHERRY Body Details canceled my appointments and sent me a message apologizing for the cancellation, providing a phone number to reschedule. However, that phone number is out of service. They do not answer calls and gave no prior notice to their patients. This company facilitated a loan for me through Cherry Bank, as they had a financing agreement for their services. The loan was approved by Cherry Bank, and I obtained it approximately four months ago. Since Body Details has become unresponsive, I decided to file a dispute with Cherry Bank. Their response was that they are not responsible, and I must continue making payments. To make matters worse, they provided me with a Body Details phone number to resolve the issue, which is also out of service. Since Cherry Bank refuses to address this situation, I had to file another dispute through a different channel and am now awaiting a resolution. I will never do business with Cherry Bank again. read more

Terrible! I do NOT recommend this location by any means. It is ALWAYS impossible to schedule appointments and once scheduled, no one in the office at the time of your appointment! On two separate occasions I have scheduled appointments one and a half months in advance, received confirmation of the scheduled appointment only to arrive and the office being closed. What makes matters even more frustrating is that the other locations are out of the way and not in very close proximity. Word of advice, when choosing a facility for your laser hair removal needs, make sure that there are several accessible locations nationwide and that you are able to schedule your next appointment. Very disappointed in Body Details as a company. They closed the Ft.Lauderdale location last year and it all went downhill from there. The Coral Springs location was already closed down this year, so I was forced to go to the Pembroke Pines location, which was a 30 minute drive from where I live. They have canceled three of my appointments this year alone (scheduled on 1/31/25, 2/12/25, and 3/1/25). I confirmed all of those appointments then Body Details sent text messages saying unfortunately we had to cancel your appointments with no explanation why and to reschedule online. I tried calling their offices multiple times on different days and each time their voicemail boxes are full and no one has yet to return my calls. You can't reach them online either. Initially I had a bad experience with Elizabeth during my tattoo removal, but after 2 years with Brittni (and now Mercy), I've had a great of an experience that could be had with such a painful procedure. This place scams you out of your money even after you've paid them entirely for their service cost. I can't even be 10 min late without getting a charge for missing my appointment. A $50 charge. With only a one time waiver fee. Which I used up during Covid 2020. These people aren't thoughtful of their customers and have no ability to waive the fee again. I could have literally shown up 12 min late and their system automatically locks in a $50 fee which cannot be reversed. Now the only time I can continue my treatment is if I pay $50. I've been going to Body Details for a little over a year for laser hair removal in my bikini area . I started at the midtown location however then switched locations to pines when I moved . Based on my experience for the past two years, I certainly will not recommend this place. The company policy is that if for any reason you cannot make it to your appointment and want to move it for another day after confirming you might be able to attend you will be charged $100 usd. Their company policy sucks. So I strongly recommend that before you sign up for any service at this company you should REALLY read the fine print because they are not flexible at all (even though in the past I have offered speak to a supervisor to help out, they will not help you). I know they might reply saying that is company policy and bla,bla,bla but know I warned you about this and know that even if you have an emergency they will charge you if you don't show up. Regardless of their 48 hour policy to let them know in advance (like we could plan emergencies right)? Anyway... your choice but at the end it is based on personal experience and maybe you will be luckier than I have been over the past two years.
