Got my 3rd tattoo(and first actual professional ink) done here years ago as an anniversary gift. It was flash dragon piece on my back, it was cheap and wasn't done all that well but I liked it well enough as when I wear tank tops, it kinda looks like I have wings sticking out. Now the son of the owner runs the place and apparently he allowed a guest artist to come in and do a Nazi tattoo in their shop. There used to be a time when asking for this kind of thing would get you tossed out of a shop at a minimum and artists would be blackballed from the scene. Totally unacceptable, Jesse. read more

Only giving 2 stars because the owner was nice. The artist though was unprofessional and never finished my tattoo but kept my deposit. He first quotes me 500 tops for a piece. I put a deposit of 60 down. First session he charged me 400 bucks. Second session he was sick wiping his nose the whole time and spent an hour doing shading then said he was done and charged me 150. I had him keep the 60 for a deposit to be towards our next session. I had to reschedule due to personal reasons. He never responded with a date that would work and so I'm down $610 and have an incomplete tattoo on my arm. Going to a different shop to finish it for sure. read more

I have tattoos from mostly one artist, but I also have one tattoo that I'll treasure forever because it was done by the original owner of the shop, Guy. My go to artist is Jason McKillip. UPDATE: I haven't been back to this shop. I've been worried about going public with this, but everyone has the right to know that my review has brought an artist's hostile wife to my messages. This was a few months ago. The review I made was in 2020, and she messaged me about this OVER A YEAR later. I'm still not comfortable with sharing what Duane said to me. MY FRIEND WAS WITH ME and she was uncomfortable too with what he said. Honestly, learn to fight your own battles. This business should be ashamed for having such a ludicrous artist. Maybe the other artists are good, but no one should have to live with the shame that this is the shop they tattoo in. This behaviour is untenable, it's harrassment. And it came from be being an honest yelper. Beware! Update v2 after Duane commented back...: good job for learning how to fight your own battles! Also, what you said to me isnt the ONLY reason you got a bad review. Duane is a TERRIBLE artist. Unless you want some really thick line work, ink bleeds, ink blowouts, and regrets, don't see him. Plain and simple. *since it matters /sooo/ much, the uncomfortable thing Duane did was body shame me for a physical disability that I have. Which he claims to not have done but he probably doesn't remember doing it because he was high* (I have another person to account for this encounter... I'm not a troll, I'm telling it how it is.) Wowowowow this is the MOST iconic tattoo shop I've ever visited! I found this place thru the owner's Instagram reels, as I was finding a good place for American Traditional. What caught my eye was not the tattoo designs, but Jesse's flashy tracksuit. Anyways, I just knew that I had to fly out from SF to Reno to see the skinny legend. And let me tell you, it was SO worth it! I really felt like I was in a museum, and Jesse did a wonderful job explaining the history of his tattooing background. He's a descendant of the tattoo gods and he keeps the place so clean, because cleanliness is close to godliness. I didn't know which design I should get, so Jesse helped me find the perfect one, which was one of the vintage flashes on the wall! He explained everything so well and I was confident about what I was getting. He's very talkative but informative, and that's great because he's interactive and it shows he cares about his client's wellbeing. Jesse made my tattooing experience very memorable. They've always taken me as a walk in, and done some simple designs as well as more intricate designs for me without needing a lot of notice beforehand. They take their time drawing up my ideas, and the pricing was very good also. The store layout is pretty cool also, with a nice seating area to wait, and comfortable chairs for those getting tattoos. Let me start off with this, Body Graphics Tattoo is the greatest place to get a tattoo no matter if it's your first time or millionth. 3 years ago I walked into this tattoo shop with no intention of getting a tattoo but my best friend Justin at the time was getting one and persuaded me into getting one, so I did. Ronnie *nicest dude ever* was helping me come up with ideas and we came up with a rose on my forearm. Honestly was shocked with how much I fell in love with it. For the longest time I couldn't remember the name of the tattoo shop or where it was located but the only reason I found it, was because I had to look at a million different pictures of different tattoo places and find red/black tiles. My best friend Taylor really wanted a tattoo and was nervous because it was her first time and I wanted to bring her to Body Graphics because I knew they would do a good job and not disappoint. As soon as we walked in Ronnie and Jessie and the guys greeted us and were so welcoming. Taylor was showing them different designs and they helped come out with a good idea and placement of it. The artists are comfortable, fast, and do quality work. They also say if you have fading they will fix it. We had Griffin, and he's done 5 tattoos for me today. I am definitely never going anywhere else. The shop minimum is 60, but they also go by size of piece for price as well as details. In their shop minimum they'll do more than one small tattoo. Came in with my spouse after speaking to Eddie ( the apprentice ) via Facebook , responded to an ad he had for free tattoos he agreed to do one for me .(because I am a starving artist / student myself I planned on paying him either way) Walking into the shop we were not greeted , he was very rude would interrupt me mid sentence while I'm telling him what I want and don't want . the shop was completely empty but took nearly an hour to even get me to sign paper work ! Decided to get a small cross on the back of my neck , was suppose to have words under neath but while putting on my stencil told me because he didn't feel it was symmetrical he wasn't going to do it for me! Only then after paper work after the wait after horrible customer service he then asked me for my I'd (which is an out of state), he then accused it of not being me ran to the back and said "its not worth it we don't take out of state' because I don't look the same in my I'd photo!
