It is one of the local bike shops that is assigned as a current dealer for XDS X-Lab bikes. When I went in, I was greeted by Bam and Lucy. Despite them not having my desired bike, they said they would inquire with the XDS manufacturer on when the bike inventory would be restocked. Lucy and Bam were helpful, patient, and friendly. Lucy said she would get back to me with availability details. That was Sunday. Monday, she called to tell me the manufacturer gave her a specific date. Not only was Lucy able to source the bike that was sold out online at the time (and still is on the XDS website), but my bike arrived and was assembled on the exact day she said it would be. When I picked up the bike, Lucy and Jamie were thorough with explaining to me the components and accessories of the bike and offered helpful tidbits. Lucy even helped me squeeze the bike into my hatchback. She's right, I need a bike rack. Although I have not been a customer of La Cicla long enough to need bike maintenance, if it's anything like the customer service they've already provided, then I'd be more than happy to give them my business. I would 100% recommend Cicla for those wanting an XDS bike, or any other bikes they carry.

Regardless of what shoe you want to try on, you're going to be ushered to a computer where they measure your feet and give you an analysis and then fit you for very expensive custom insoles, upwards of $100. They'll then recommend 4-5 different shoes based on this, and the price range will vary. If you had a shoe in mind that you wanted to try, they'll bring that as well, but they'll push the others. They'll put the custom insoles in everything as an upsell technique, so you'll have to take it out if you really want to try on the shoes without the expensive add on. The insoles were meh. Didn't do much for me. I asked for the shoe I came to try on and was satisfied with those and ready to check out until they said the sale price listed on the website with free in store pickup wasn't applicable to in-store purchase ($30 difference) unless I signed up for a membership which was a $20 trial for 6 months and somehow tied to those damn expensive insoles and custom socks that I also didn't want. So if I wanted the sale price, I'd have to spend $20 somehow and be tied to those insoles I said I didn't want to begin with? I dunno. I felt like I was drowning and somehow my $150 shoes were going to end up costing me $300. Stop trying to make everything a membership subscription. How many pairs of running shoes do you think I'm going to buy every 6 months? Craziness. I went home and ordered my shoes on Amazon for $140. I really tried to go in-store and support a business in my neighborhood but no thanks on all of that.

Initially, he was pleasant with all of us, until he found out that I was not buying anything and only my nephew and brother was buying. From then on, he ignored me totally. He ignored me like I was a ghost. After paying for the purchased (about $3500), he said bye to my brother and his son. NOTHING to me, even when I said bye to him. My brother and my nephew also said they noticed that and felt weird. Apparently, if you don't buy anything, he ignores you totally. I am never buying here again, although I have spent about $6k in the past at this place.
