My friend and I got piercings from Ryan! Overall: Super easy to make an appointment just by calling their number. Everyone was very friendly and communicative. Would recommend. Prices are reasonable (for ear piercings: $60 for a hoop and $90 for a stud). There's free parking in the front of the store. I didn't get the piercings I initially wanted, but I'm actually glad it turned out the way it did because Ryan was super honest and helpful. He has a lot of experience with piercing and explained how what I wanted would end up looking/other expectations. He was very clean and used sterile equipment. Cartilage piercing was quick and efficient, not that painful either. It's been two days since I got it, and I l don't even feel it (but I have been making sure to follow their aftercare instructions). I went in with my friends a while back and forgot to rate. I tried to get a belly piercing and the girl there told me I had an outty and couldn't get a piercing. So I never tried again. Then about a year later, I went into a different place and they gave me a perfect belly piercing, had it ever since and it looked nice and gave me no problems. I got my upper ear pierced here recently.. The piercing itself I am happy with and I had a decent initial experience overall. Today, at some point, the ball clasp had come out of my hoop ring that is in my ear. I went into the shop to either have it replaced, or purchase a new ring if that was what was required. Unfortunately, I was told that they would be unable to help me since they only do tattoos on Sunday and Monday (today is Monday). They could not just give me a new ball or sell me any of their products. They recommended I go to the hole look for help with this. I've always gone to them for my piercings, but in the future I will be giving my business to the Hole Look, as they are able to offer support for problems such as this. I did go there, and they were able to just give me a new ball clasp, free of charge. I understand they are doing tattoos on certain days, but the business is advertised as open and their only solution for me with my relatively new piercing, which is still healing, is to go somewhere else? (Wife's experience and words) I went to this shop a couple months ago to get my septum pierced. I cannot remember the name of my piercer, he was an older male, long beard, skinny and had lots of tattoos and piercings as well. After taking a look at my nose he decided to go ahead and start the piercing process. I chose 16 gauge which he said should have been fine. He pierced my septum and it was extremely painful! My nose started to bleed a lot so he had me lay down. He then proceeded to take the needle out, and without telling me he pierced my septum again going through the opposite side. I quickly grabbed his arm shouting "no!!" Because it hurt so bad and I had absolutely no warning this was going to happen. He ended up piercing my nose crooked and had to use pliers to fix the shape of the piercing so it would fit my nose. I was charged full price even though I was told I would be getting a discount. After 6 months, my septum has finally "healed". Meaning I can turn my piercing and flip it up with no pain. Before my piercing healed, the jewelry was literally stuck in my nose. If I moved it, the piercing caused extreme pain and caused my eyes to water a lot, along with a horrible burning sensation in my nose. I give this place a 1/10 read more

My lobe piercings were absolutely butchered by Claires and this place not only fixed them, but gave me pointers for future piercings. They had the exact pair of earrings I wanted and the whole staff gave me a warm welcome despite the usual stereotype of a tattoo shop. I highly recommend getting pierced and/or tattooed here! I got my ears pierced this year in February, I think that the piercer's name was Allison. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no complaints. Went back in a month later to get my piercings downsized and again, the staff were friendly easy to work with, and I had no issues. Recently though, I'm not sure what's going on with their business. I've called them multiple times over the last month and a half and no one ever picks up, it eventually asks for an access code? I've gone by during their business hours in the evening twice and they have been closed and no one is inside. There aren't any signs on the door or anything online indicating that something is going on. Not sure if they are still open or what is going on. read more

I just turned 18 and was excited to be able to get my septum pierced and then the front desk staff at the C street location was very disrespectful and rude which ruined the entire experience. They were an hour behind schedule and taking walk-ins before my scheduled appointment. When I had asked her a question she snapped at me and was very rude. To conclude I walked out and didn't go through with my apppintent. Overall I do not recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pleasant experience and for the basis horrible of customer service and being unable to go through with appointments in a timely manner. I usually don't write reviews but I feel like this should definitely not be hidden I went in with pictures of what I wanted Jeff the tattoo artist got everything set up, put the pic of what he came up with one my arm...... he didn't really ask me if I was happy with the drawing I do admit I could have & should have spoken up It wasn't really what I asked for BUT I did go forward with getting it done An hour into it he tattooed the linings & started shading I myself after so long looked at my phone for a moment....look back & he started doing this black flame background It was already there so at the moment I just got speechless I didn't ask for a shading in the background nor did he even discuss this with me I had no choice but to overlook what he had already done and continue to go with this black flame looking background with my flowers/ribbon/cross tattoo. He ended up only shading in only 4 out of 5 flowers & started the background.....mind you he didn't finish the 1 flower left or finish the stems that the flowers were on. That was 2 hours total. I end up deciding to go back to him because I thought if he created this background than I need him to finish his visual. I go back 2 weeks later although he scheduled me on thanksgiving & took 5 days to get me in for his scheduling mess up....anyways he continues shading this background he came up with. But only this time he spent the entire 2 hours shading the same 3 little areas. I kept telling myself that didn't seem right......he did 2 hours the 1st time to do a ribbon/flowers/cross & a partial black flamed background tattoo but was only able to touch 3 little areas in 2 hours also! My mind was blown away 5 days later because he over shaded these 3 little areas, it ends up getting infected. I was in so much pain & the tattoo looked horrible!!!! I must admit I do feel like I was little bit of a push over but at the same time it was only because during my visits Jeff was somewhat intimidating and very pushy. Anyways I ended up not going back because I already know they wont give me a refund & I wouldn't want him to do another tattoo on me or even anyone there for that matter. I took two illustrations in. I asked for a consult with Mason. All I wanted to know was could he do it and make an appt to get started. A month went by. I called and left a message. I got a call back and they said Mason was too busy. They suggested two apprentices. I declined one and they said they would have to get back to me on the other's availibility. A few more weeks went by. I left another message. Nothing. I went elsewhere. I had a great experience here with Lauren, she pierced my rook. I wouldn't hesitate recommending her. My second visit was to ultimately get my septum pierced, Colby was the only piercer in house that day. He comes off very dismissive. He described septum piercing as a "blind" piercing and said he always holds his breath and hopes it turns out straight. That didn't leave me feeling very comfortable with him. Usually I have three piercings from here. Ears, Nose, and Lip. My ears and nose did just fine, exactly what I wanted and healed nicely. I just got my lip done 3 weeks ago, and they didn't have the horseshoe ring that I wanted, so I said it was fine to do a regular stud. The guy doing it, while he did a wonderful job was a bit rough. At the end of the appointment, he said I could come back in 3 weeks and switch it. Well, it's been 3 weeks, first of all, their hours aren't as posted it says 10:00am to 12:00am everywhere I looked. Which was good, considering as I was getting ready for the day, I had the back of my ring fall out and couldn't get it back in. So, I drove over there, expecting it would be a quick thing. Well, they weren't open. I called twice, and nothing. Finally, someone else called around noon, and they said they hadn't opened at 10:00 in almost 5 years. Well, maybe you should update your hours, ever think about that? Now, I go back at noon, expecting that as promised my stud would be switched to the horseshoe ring I wanted. I get there, I sign the paperwork and hand over the 10 dollars. And he goes, "Oh, the 10 is only for the shorter shaft. If you want the horseshoe it'll be 50 dollars." Well, wait, you told me three weeks ago I could come in and you would switch it. Nope. So now, because I couldn't afford the 50 I'm stuck with this godawful silver ball sticking out of my face for 3 more months until this damn thing heals. The shaft is so short, I can't even stick it out of my lip to clean behind the ball anymore. This used to be my favorite piercing place, but I definitely think it's time to find a new piercer since I've had nothing but problems since I walked in the door 3 weeks ago to get this piercing. read more

What I really like about this place is that the people seem to know their stuff and it is very sterile. But sometimes knowing their stuff comes off a bit snootish. Depends on who, but some are more friendlier than others. I've boughten my body jewelry here and did my navel piercing here as well. I don't write reviews but I have to say that my experience requires me to express my gratitude. Ryan did my helix and he was great. But, it was my daughters experience with Ryan that was exceptional. She came in with a bad piercing from a sister shop in the valley. Ryan was patient, kind and straightforward with her. We had to take the bad piercing out because it was so infected. We came in after it was healed and he pierced her helix again. It was a much better piercing and he was very open to having us contact him if there was any concerns. I cannot say enough about Ryan' expertise and bed side manner not so much toward me but my daughter. 5 stars for Ryan. The store is clean and well run. read more

posting this here because i can only see my google review for this place on the account that i posted it and not my others. never written a review before, but i just need to say that this is the worst service i've ever had. had to have two appointments for a piercing because the first time the piercer didn't even show up and the second time they didn't show up. AGAIN. while i was waiting to see if the piercer would show up on the second appointment, these two girls also showed up for a piercing. i honestly don't know how this place has this many good reviews. i also don't even know how the piercer has a job here when their never even at work for SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS, bc i've heard this isn't the first time they've done this. get it together. you're wasting peoples time just because you don't want to show up to your own job; even the own manager doesn't know what's going on. i'd just recommend going somewhere else if you're coming here for a piercing. also they never pick up the damn phone; voicemail is full, and store is always closed, even when it says open on google, so it's hard to get in contact with them. if could give this place 0 stars i would. read more

(someone please explain only if you know the real answer) I did get a tattoo from them and i think that it turned out very nice. They gave me the template of the blossom just in case i wanted to get another (which i do) so they will all match. They're sterile and clean, and they used to be my go-to place to get things done. But the only problem I have is the way they deal with unknowledgeable customers, and the way one of the pierces is so nonchalant about trash talking people. I've had awesome experiences with the tattoo artists though. Just be cautious with your words as to not get dirty looks from workers. read more

Everyone was very nice, I didn't get a piercing or a tattoo. I went in to get my tragus piercings taken out because they were looking severely irritated. The guy talked to me about how to clean it, what to do, etc. all for free. Given I didn't take much of their time, but I've been in several tattoo/piercing places and this is definitely in my top 3. Their jewelry is really expensive- like 20 bucks for 1 gauge. This is the reason behind four stars and not five. read more

Not friendly, not a whole lot of options jewelry wise. Also, the guy I talked to fed me false information. I went in like 4 years ago to ask about getting two dermal anchors on the back of my neck. The guy said there was too much friction and movement there and they wouldn't do them. I went to a place in Reno and the piercer said that was one of the best places to get them and that guy was dead wrong. Got them pierced and have had them for over 4 years now. Gave them another shot recently and they were rude, stand offish, and acted like my questions were stupid. The whole look down the street is way better. read more

I had my nose pierced by a wonderful young woman on Friday as soon as they opened. She could not have been more professional, knowledgeable and in charge of our appointment. On top of all that she was the sweetest and kindest person I've met in a long time. However, there were two gentlemen working who could not have been less interested, more apathetic and more pained to look up from their phones and answer a few questions. Awesome experience here! I impulsively decided I needed my cartilage pierced today, and walked in after reading a few reviews. I waited for less than an hour (there were a few people ahead of me), which was fine. Everything was very clean, and all the tools and needles were sterile. Charlie did a great job and I love my new piercing! None of my other piercings (nose, tragus, or lobes) hurt very much when I got them done but I was a little nervous about the cartilage- I honestly barely felt a pinch and it was all over! While I was there, I also had him change my tragus from a post to a loop, and am happy with the switch. :) read more

Went in to have my right lobe pierced twice; plain vanilla holes for studs. Wanted a place that was clean and felt I needed an artist to get the holes lined up correctly with the existing holes in my left lobe. Colby listened patiently as I explained, then spent the better part of 15 minutes measuring with calipers(!), to make sure he had the the right distance apart, then almost painlessly pierced the holes perfectly!
