Bill was super easy to work with and schedule with, and although he was very honest up front about being bearish on being able to remedy the car with door dings (due to make/model issues with safety bracing, metal composition, etc.), he exceeded even his own expectations and was able to perfectly remedy ALL the dents in even that tougher car! One of the other quotes we got wouldn't even quote that car due to the aforementioned difficulties with fixing that make and model, typically. I've already recommended KC D&D to two people, and although I hope to never *need* to use their services again, should I fall victim to further dents or dings, I won't hesitate to return to Bill in a heartbeat!

Stay away from Toby Bossert he is crook, thief, and incompetent. Two examples below…read more Purchased 2004 Neon on 7/12/15 from Toby Bossert through Bossert Body and Tow/Carworks Auto Sales. (should be renamed CarDONTwork) On 7/14/15; I was driving on 291 and car acted funny and was slowing down I went to speed up and engine revived up but transmission wasn't in gear it then yanked forward. I immediately pulled over and seen smoke coming from under hood. Upon inspection it looked like transmission fluid had all blew out between engine and firewall. I checked transmission fluid and it's low and it looks like SMALL BLACK SPECKS are on dip stick....... 7/14/15 Toby tells my wife he will take care of it and had a tow truck pickup car and bring it back to his shop. He talked to My Wife and told her the radiator had failed and needed new radiator, hose, and fluid. That he would also flush transmission fluid. However on pickup car, he presented us with a $300 bill. Toby said he would take care of it..... But he charged us after buying it from him 2 days prior. He stole $300 from us by leading us to believe he was making it right and not informing us of cost before making charged repairs. Ever since transmission has shifted hard and irregular. 10/7/15 the transmission won't shift out of 1st gear. I take it to a transmission shop and the say it needs a new transmission due to mechanical failure caused by coolant in the transmission fluid. That will cost more than car is worth. The fact of the matter is Toby didn't repair car properly and now less than three months later I have a worthless car. Now I need another vehicle and I wasted 6 weeks pay on to buy to drive this junk for 11 weeks....... Car Don't Work Auto Sales by Toby Bossert. Secondly I had him estimate body repair to my van and he had a lowest quote saying he would mask off the window and trim then fade/feather the paint to match on a panel of my black metal paint. That's not the right thing to do considering two other body shops and my insurance company saying that with the color of vehicle the whole panel needs painted, window and trim removed from good paint job. So sure Toby Bosserts might seem fairly priced but it's due to the lack of his competence and selling junk cars that he's smoothed out to get sold. So is competent on being crook and thief!

Before we found this business, she was taking her Blazer to a dealership. I had transported that vehicle from San Francisco 5 years ago when my sister passed away. She wanted only the best for that car. Between us we had, over time, spent 6K with that dealership. When it became overwhelming for us financially, she decided to look elsewhere and found Knightons. They have kept that vehicle in perfect running condition for about 3 years now. They have always been honest with her and worked things within her budget. They have treated her incredibly well and always only done what needed to be done and never, have they ever tried to sell her anything that wasn't needed at each visit. Recently my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer. She has had to move to NC with me as of last week. She had taken the car to them for a check up so that my husband could go pack her up and bring her here. As she left the lot to get a hitch receiver to bring to them for installation, someone came through a stop light and hit that vehicle. Believe it or not, they came on the scene to tow her vehicle to their shop and even took her home so that she could get there safely. Her vehicle looks just like it did before it was hit and let me tell you, there was plenty of damage. It was totaled by the insurance company, but since the vehicle belonged to my sister, she decided to keep it and they fixed it in time for my husband to fly to NC to get her. I lived in KC all of my life. I have never, ever known a more honest group of people when it has come to mechanics and now extensive body work. They have done a AMAZING job. My Mom misses them terribly and doesn't want anyone else to touch that vehicle. I can see why!! If you need ANY kind of mechanics or body work, if you live within a hundred miles of this shop, it would be worth your time to let them do your work. This is a very talented group of mechanics, body work people. unbelievable... honestly. I work for a transport company and many of my clients transport older vehicles to body shops, several states away just to ensure that they get quality work. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know in the KC area and even around the country. I am extremely particular in every way with any product or service I use, these people are kind, friendly and amazingly talented. What an experience it has been for us to be able to work with this family. Kudos to all of you for building a mechanics, body shop and tow service that works with precision, INTEGRITY,great talent (these people are artists, honestly) care for their community and commitment to get the job done as quickly as possible and with great care.
