I was able to get a free drop in session and then it was $10/visit after that, which is totally reasonable. The gym is not huge, but totally adequate, and VERY clean. The cardio equipment and weight machines are excellent quality (Precor brand I believe). I'm more into free weights and there was enough of that to do what I needed. The atmosphere of the staff and members was friendly and unpretentious - I didn't come across any gym rats grunting excessively or making anyone unwelcome. The only thing I noticed lacking was a dedicated bench press station (barbell type), which is a gym staple. The change room and bathroom set up is a little weird, but whatever. One thing I'd add if I ruled the world is a set of powerlifting plates. Even the biggest plates (45lb) are too small in diameter to do deadlifting or bent over rows without bending over too far. If I lived here, I'd definitely consider this gym as my go to place to get fit.

I found the environment to be quite intense and not aligned with the sense of safety and integrity that was communicated and taught within her "shift labs course." I personally felt pressure in the way the space operates, particularly around participation and spending. At times, i felt the focus leaned heavily toward revenue rather than the student wellbeing or accessibility. I also noticed commentary about other studios that made me uncomfortable. This contributed to my overall impression of a lack of professionalism. Im sharing this because I think it's important for others to be aware of how the environment felt from my perspective, especially for people who may be more vulnerable or looking for a supportive healing space. I also want to share an experience related to a financial agreement. I was initially offered access to a course in spring 2025, and there was a written/email agreement that I would be reimbursed at a later date. I was flexible and willing to work with her on this. After several months, I followed up based on that agreement and was reassured that she would pay most back by the following spring 2026. However, the original commitment was later withdrawn, and I was not reimbursed. This left me disappointed, as the expectation set in writing was not followed through. This was difficult, particularly because integrity and alignment with one's word are emphasized within the teachings of the studio. My personal experience in this situation did not feel consistent with those values, which was super disappointing.
