It has been a minute since I took a pilates class so I signed up for the beginner class in hopes of dipping my toes back into the water. Firstly, the studio is so chic and pretty! I was also so happy that it wasn't a heated class. Heated classes are so trendy but since I'm getting back on the wagon, I can't handle the heat just yet. Our teacher, Sophia was so great at explaining the machines and demonstrating the moves on the floor for us. For a beginner class, I was properly challenged while focusing on form. I am going to be hurting for SURE tomorrow. Overall, a very positive experience for my first time back to pilates. I felt like the environment was very inclusive and there were people of all levels. I would come back!

Really enjoy this studio! Very aesthetically pleasing, 2 floors and offers in house water station which I appreciate. You can either park in the front on the street or behind the back by the bank. Just started reformers Pilates and I appreciate the instructors continuously pushing us and being patients and correcting form when needed! They also have a Glendale location which is also perfect for me (by my work) and include the same parking in front and in house water station! I enjoy coming to this Pilates a lot

My favorite place to go for heated mat Pilates! I go about 4-5x a week. All the instructors are very nice and encouraging. The studio is aesthetically pleasing and clean. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try mat or reformer Pilates!

Deena's class was amazing! She was thorough and had a great playlist. It was my first time at this studio but will definitely be back.

Weightlifting and CrossFit would often leave me hurting for days and made it so hard to stay consistent. From my very first reformer class, Pilates felt completely different. It actually relieved my back while still giving me an incredible full-body workout. I'm strengthening muscles I could never properly target before without pain, and I'm finally seeing and feeling changes in my body because I can be consistent. And Club Pilates itself makes the experience even better. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and encouraging, and the studio is such a beautiful, welcoming space. The music, cool AC, dim lighting, and calm atmosphere make the classes feel almost meditative while still challenging your body. I leave feeling stronger, relaxed, and accomplished instead of completely destroyed. It's honestly become my happy place and something I look forward to every day. I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

It does affect how you are able to perform some of the exercise exercises. Reason 2: The instructor did not ask if I had any injuries, which most instructors do. I was a couple minutes late, so maybe that's why she didn't ask. But seriously most instructors want to know if there's injuries or anything so clients don't hurt themselves.

I tried several other studios and none of them had the joy and thoughtfulness I've experienced at Personal Pilates. They really mean personal! All of the instructors have done a great job tailoring the moves to fit my injuries and specific body. Kim's basics class has been particularly game changing. She really explains things in depth, and the pace is slow enough that it's easy to ask questions. But that doesn't mean it's not a workout! I always leave sweating. Most importantly, this place feels like a community. The people are kind and welcoming. As a plus size person, I often feel anxious in exercise spaces, worried that people are making judgements about my body, or that the instructors dont know how to adapt moves in a way that actually works, or that they might make offhanded negative or cruel comments about fat people, or even just overemphasize external changes and weight loss over strength, endurance, and enjoyment. I haven't experienced any of that here. In fact, the instructors at personal Pilates have been extremely helpful and accommodating about personalizing the work without making me feel any different than other students. And the students are all ages and sizes, which also helps! Lastly, at other Pilates studios I have sometimes felt sort of... like I'm inside of instagram. Like it's all about aesthetics. That's not the case here. This is really a place to enjoy what your body can do and get stronger. There isn't even a mirror, which I really love. I can't recommend it enough.

This is my first lagree experience. It is much more fast paced and intense than traditional Pilates. I had purchased an unlimited month membership to try it out, and my first class was not encouraging. I went to a beginner's class to help myself adjust to the different reformer than I'm used to. I went a few minutes early to be able to speak with the instructor and let her know I did have some questions because of this. She was actually subbing for the instructor who was supposed to be there. She let me know she'd go over it at the beginning of class. She then proceeded to talk to someone attending the classs for the next 10 min before class not making herself available to any new students. Not asking if there's any major concerns or injuries? This was a first for me. Then she asked if it's anyone's first time. (I had told her 10min before it was mine) and she quickly moved on. There were quite a few people with poor form and visibly struggling. This instructor did not have the patience to be teaching this class. Needless to say I was very disappointed in my first experience and felt I had just wasted money on an unlimited month. I gave it another try with a different instructor. Yay!!! I've been to 3 other instructors since, and they've all been great. All this to say try different people to find someone who gives you the energy and support you are paying for at a place like this. I'm really enjoying this although sometimes I miss the chillness of traditional. Street parking is never difficult to find regardless of time of day.

Disappointing experience…read more A lot of time and energy to no purpose; instructors scheduled then cancelled; others offered to speak, then don't follow thru; or call back, and didn't. We all are aware things have been very challenging coming back from Covid; a business hoping to recover gracefully should strive to be far more caring about what's going on for potential clients at this time- especially in the wellness sector. Small businesses are only as good as the professionals they hire or the management that oversees them; this one could strive to respect "the other side", and be more organized and responsible on follow thru with commitments / appointments. And - ownership appears to have no clue what's going on with potential clients and it's own management .... as a comment posted within minutes by this owner - whom I've never spoken to!- has me confused with yet another client they apparently reneged on... I never paid money (because they lack the bandwith to schedule!), and didn't even know about this small studio until a recommendation in June (one I have since addressed with the studio that recommended it). Again, this speaks to the lack of organization / communication. Thank you.
