My first treatment was for a partially torn meniscus, which after thorough analysis of my pain and targeting of various muscles, went from a severe (limp inducing) tearing pain to a dull ache after one session! I've returned to the clinic for treatment of climbers tendinitis in my shoulders and elbows, which in combination with physiotherapy has all but dissipated. Brenna is incredibly personable and professional, always letting you know what procedures she suggests and what they're supposed to accomplish. I was a bit nervous for my first treatment, but having this information along with Brenna's friendly and easy to talk to nature made the session a breeze! Not relaxing at all. My needles were only left in for barely 15 minutes. If you are looking for a relaxing acupuncture appointment, do not go here. Physio treatments (I only went for two) were subpar. Actual treatment itself was only 15 minutes. My previous clinic that I went to before we moved to Fort Saskatchewan provided one solid hour appointments for clients.

As a result, I was unable to drive, unable to read, unable to use my computer. I had to use Uber for every trip I needed to make. In short, it meant a virtual end to my freedom. The doctors said there was nothing which could be done, except to wait to see if it would improve over time, after which they could either (a) fit my left eye lens with a prism or (b) perform surgery on my left eye. When my…read morefamily doctor said she was concerned about my kidney readings there was a very long silence as I waited to hear what she suggested be done to correct it. When it became obvious that she had nothing to offer, I asked if I should drink more water. Her reply was yes just drink more water. The way she said it did not leave me with the confidence that she was sure. I had never been to a Naturopath before but figured it would be worth trying. When Dr V looked at my blood work, she indicated that she understood why my doctor was concerned and indicated that my kidneys were dying. I asked if it was reversable to which she said of course. She set me up on a supplement and said it would take about 10 to 12 months to get my kidneys back to health. A year later my blood work showed that my kidneys were just about back to normal. Since that time each time I have my annual physical I take the bloodwork to Dr V for review and she has guided me through it with the answers I need to address the issues that show up in the blood. I am 68 years old and thanks to Dr V I am not on any of the medications my family doc has tried to get me on over the years. Each time a medication is suggested, I talk to Dr V and she has had the answer either through a supplement or a dietary change that corrects the issue. I've gone three weeks in a row to work on a few past injuries I've had (shoulder, ankle and jaw) and Tracy has been absolutely fantastic. She is very knowledgeable, explains what she is doing and uses a variety of techniques. I've had acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and gua sha done on me. They also provide insurance receipts if you have coverage with work. Normal price is $70 for acupuncture but if you buy a package deal (5/10 sessions), you can get a sweet deal. Just ask. Highly recommend. They also do massages but I haven't had one here yet.

I made the appointment on recommendation of a friend who is also a patient of hers. I booked an appointment for my son just because he has a bit of a weaker immune system. The office is spacious and clean, with a large seating area with comfy chairs and an awesome plush carpet. My son couldn't resist taking a role across it plush carpet. They offer several services including chiropractic services message, acupuncture and physiotherapy. Despite the appointment being delayed a half hour I left her office feeling satisfied with the visit. Dr. Khamba really took the time to listen and asked the questions that needed to be asked. What she recommended were some simple vitamins and probiotics. She also recommended a food sensitivity test called IgG. Which I will let you all know is not covered by my health insurance plan and is a wee bit pricey. (Although well worth it from what I can tell from my research) Above all I really got the sense that she cares about her clients and has a passion for what she does. If you're considering becoming more proactive about your health I would definitely recommend a visit with Dr. Khamba. Her approach is mainly diet based. No voodoo snake oil stuff here. My friend who has a gazillion allergies and suffers from eczema and frequent illnesses has seen huge improvements in her health since seeing Dr. Khamba.
