She is by far the most intuitive, patient massage therapist I have found. My body, in particular likes slow, deep, thorough work. My neck and low back are a mess from previous habits of desk work and gymnastics. She checks in often to make sure I'm only dealing with "therapeutic discomfort" and not pain. Well, we didnt save that much, they have lowered the rates now and its $45.00 for a one massage, not $60 as posted on Yelp. My husb had Cindy and he said she was great. He felt FANTASTIC! Doug really took great care of me! He had some great techniques in getting the help I needed to hell re-align my back! To make it short and sweet, I came in with a tense feeling in my lower back and shoulders area and his hands did some magic and was able to loosen them up. It's been two days now and I'm still feeling incredible! I highly recommend him and his wife, I'm sure she does wonders, as well! The reason it's not 5 stars is silly but I tend to be honest with my reviews and it's that the lotion they use gave off an interesting odor. Very happy with services here. I got in a car accident and have been working with Cindy. When I was attempting to schedule my first appointment she able to fit me in with short notice. Which I found to be very considerate. Once there Cindy was very gentle but so in tune with where my pain was located. I just want to say that their establishment is so much more than typical massage. I've been here a few times and Cindy is awesome. She gives a great deep tissue massage. When I leave I feel great. The reason I am leaving a "3" star is the layout of the building. The waiting rooms are in like a business building. It isn't that inviting while you are waiting for your massage. If it wasn't for Cindy I wouldn't go back. I was a little nervous about having a massage from a guy since I have always had female therapists and especially since my problem area is my hip but he is very professional and easy- going so surprisingly I didn't feel awkward at all. I have NEVER had a better massage in my life. I had Doug and he listened to what I told him was hurting, heard my history, and catered the entire massage to my lifestyle. I feel like most masseuse's listen and may spend an extra minute or two on an area, but they kind of have their "routine massage" that they'll go through. This targeted the areas that were causing troubles and I experienced a dramatic decrease in chronic pain. It's a little hard to find as it's not clearly labeled from the street, but its down below the lot with the mexican restaurant (Chile something or other and a fishing shop) and there's a larger spa next door (though I doubt the massages could even compare). They even have online scheduling so it's SUPER convenient. Absolutely wonderful all around. Will DEFINITELY go back! read more
