It did not go according to plan as the receptionist (black girl) assured me that my wife wouldn't find out about the massage after her asking me for my wife's contact information. I stated "why do you need her information?, I want it to be a surprise"... Within 30 min of me booking, my wife was notified smh. I then called to see what happened ...she was apologetic it seemed but honestly felt she didn't know what she was doing or knew the systems they have in place. She stated that they would give us a free enhancement for the massage and charge us only $120 for our first visit...I show up anyway with my wife to the massage she now knows she was receiving, and the vibe was just off when we arrived. Not only did they try to charge us $160 (full price for it), she didn't even let her manager know of the mishap that happened earlier regarding the email sent to my wife and what the charges would be because of it. I also felt she was smiling and being condescending as we were in the waiting room..just not a good vibe at all. Before it was time to pay and go over the charges, she left the establishment and left the manager wondering what I was talking about. Having tried a sound bath session via the Yelp Online Events during the pandemic, I thought it would be cool to try it in-person. I bought the Groupon and booked my session. Stephanie contacted me to confirm the appointment and tell me more about sound bath therapy and preparing myself, thoughts, etc. Upon arrival I had a short assessment before getting started. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed. It was very peaceful, calming, relaxing and relieving. I enjoyed it. Many months later, I was thinking about trying Reiki. And in January this year an e-newsletter from Stephanie appeared! And what should I find among her special offerings for the year? None other than a pack of 3 -90 minute Reiki Massage sessions. I booked right away. Same as before, Stephanie has been wonderful. We spoke several times before the first session (I had additional questions) and she explained the process for preparing myself, my mind etc. Each session has been great. For each session, she took the time to see what has transpired to get an idea of where I was in life and how to be taylor the session to my needs. Each time, she always takes the needed time without any rushing. At the end of each session I have feelings of peace, calm and balance.
