He has experience with acupuncture too, which means he's familiar with pressure points and always gets the right spots. I had issues related to plantar fasciitis and was treated by Mehran and his staff. To be honest, I didn't think that physio would help, which was why I didn't book an appointment earlier. But after the first appointment with shockwave therapy, I felt a lot better. After a few sessions, I feel like I've learned enough to manage. Not only do you get the direct physical therapy, but they teach you about the stretches and management that you need to do. The staff are very friendly.

Every other review site rated this clinic very highly so I decided to call here and make an appointment. Dr. Matthew was very welcoming and easy going. He was very engaged in learning my health history and how I've been suffering with chronic back pain for years. He completed his examination, which included a good amount of objective measures that we could compare to after some treatment. I was very impressed with his explanation about my problem and his approach to treating me for it. It made total sense, with a simple straightforward approach that would be reasonable and easy to manage. I received my first chiropractic adjustments on my first visit and could feel improvement immediately. On my second visit he introduced some stretches and strengthening exercises that I could do each do to support the treatment and progress as quickly as possible. I'm now two weeks into care with Dr. Matthew at Vellore Chiropractic & Wellness Centre and it has been the best decision about my back pain I've ever made. I'm very happy with my care and also with the service at this clinic and I strongly recommend Dr. Matthew!

My first appointment was a consultation which is normal under the circumstances, since I am a first time client, but the more the appointment went on, the more I felt like Dr. Bortulussi was trying to "sell" me a program - almost like visiting certain weight loss centres or people trying to sell "multi-level marketing". I made a second follow-up appointment and low-and-behold - he was trying to sell me on a year long "better living" program upwards of 3.5k. When I insisted and only said I was here to be on a pay-per-session basis, he kept trying to insist that I would need the WHOLE program to feel better. Needless to say I never returned and went elsewhere. I don't want to be conned because I'm desperate to be out of pain. HE is con-artist!

Instead, I walked into one the most unprofessional and poorly run clinics I've ever encountered. The moment I arrived, I was abruptly asked I'd brought a note from my oncologist. A note? For a massage? No, of course not. I hadn't been asked to bring one. And nothing on their website or booking confirmation mentioned this requirement. During the so called "assessment", The "Dr" appeared completely out of his depth - flustered, confused and visibly unsure of even basic anatomy. He left the room to consult with someone else and suddenly he needed an oncologist's note. At this point, it was painfully obvious this was about liability, not patient care. I've been to several acupuncturists, RMTs and practitioners throughout my treatment. Not once have I experienced this level of incompetence or lack of compassion. I drove half an hour because their website claimed they welcome cancer patients. Apparently that only applies until they actually have to treat one. The excuse I was given? The "Dr" didn't review my intake form until that morning. Yet no one had the courtesy or professionalism to notify me in advance so I could cancel and book elsewhere. Instead, they wasted my time, my energy and an opportunity to manage the side effects I experience. If this is how they handle vulnerable clients - by misleading them and scrambling to cover themselves, then stay far, far away. There are plenty of clinics that actually know what they're doing and don't treat cancer patients as a liability.

The staff work very well together to make sure that I am getting the treatment I need to help me get back to the best that I can be.
