This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience!

I will continue to support this local business simply because they look out for the best interest of the customer, and that's what truly matters when trying to operate a business. We never received this service of extermination of the inside of properties. Normally if the properties get exterminated they are done outside and I needed something done right away .... So I had to pay the cost. My husband was getting bit all over his arms and they were like chicken pox (swollen).... I had Brandon from this company come out to exterminate for bugs, which turned out to be Bed Bugs (which I had no idea that I had that problem)... I felt so embarrassed and Brandon reassured me that it was probably NOT my fault as it can happen to the best of us who have people visit us as they might have bed bugs attached to their clothing and bed bugs travel with people through luggage; through business airline seats ; at restaurants seats; from hotels and the best of upper-end resorts. So-- I felt better knowing that this bug is quite common . Brandon was very detailed in showing me what a bed bug looked like and where to look for them and came up with my total cost for his services. His extermination service came in 3 visits instead of one for a total cost of $275. Most exterminators charge that fee for just one application...I have not seen a bed bug since and he finished exterminating for Bed Bugs a week ago. I liked his service so much that I hired him on for a monthly basic service ($45.) a month to spray for other bugs (peaty creatures) and this will be done monthly until I say to stop. I recommend him and feel he is honest and trustworthy as we had to leave our premises for over 2 hours and he was very careful with moving our furnitures when finished. Today, I'm totally happy and trust that if we have that problem again, he will be available to help again.

I had concerns that there might be some termite activity on a new house I had just purchased so I…read morecalled Rottler. The specialist came out to walk through the property and take a look. He noted there wasn't any termite activity, but did offer me some options for monitoring programs which I was interested in. While doing his extremely thorough inspection under the house, he noted that I had an issue with black mold in the far corner which the home inspector had missed prior to my buying the house. He said they didn't handle it, but took many pictures of it for me. I subsequently called out a mold removal company who confirmed his findings, so I had to get that treated. Black mold is a very serious issue, so I greatly appreciated his pointing this out so I could have it remedied. I haven't decided on the termite monitoring program yet as the cost of the mold removal was considerable, but if I ever have a pest issue you can bet your bottom dollar I will be going with Rottler! Kudos to Matt and Rottler for being a company far better that exceeded all of my expectations, in both professionalism and thoroughness. It's nice to know there are still companies like this out there.
