One of my sisters introduced me to Boise Milk about four years ago, I never looked back! We go through a lot of milk in my household so it's convenient for me to have our milk delivered. They also have dairy products, pastry, produce, meat and bakery that you can order. You can adjust your delivery item a few hours before the delivery unless you need to adjust your bakery item then you need a couple days to adjust it. I changed my review from a 5 star rating 2 years ago because since new ownership, I've discontinued my service. They used to be timely, accommodating and helpful but now they simply...aren't. Guess the systems don't allow for bi-weekly delivery very well and we don't drink that much milk Before they manually fixed that, as I was a customer for 4 years but now they can't and they didn't seem to care. they didn't notify me and I found out when I didn't get my delivery and called to inquire. Ah well... I get organic milk at the store now, and farm Fresh eggs from a neighbor. The only thing I truly miss is my ability to order Gaston's croissants lol read more

I LOVE BOISE MILK!! Coming from California, I had no idea milk delivery still happened! But I am so glad I found boise milk! Their milk is delicious! It come from the cow to your doorstep in less than 48 hours!! Take that grocery store!!! The skim milk is so fresh that it tastes like 2% and their 2% tastes like whole milk, so creamy!! We also get a dozen eggs each time. They are the brown eggs, with thicker shells then in the grocery store. I believe the thicker shells are due to the chickens getting more nutrition! The days of the milkman are not over! Last night was our first doorstep milk delivery from Boise Milk. The S.O. and I waited up for the truck (they deliver between midnight and 8:00 am). We stalked the truck through our neighborhood -- it made two painstaking stops on our street before our house. I ran out the door to meet the delivery guy before he could place our order into our cooler. The S.O. immediately broke open a half-gallon of skim -- luscious and buttery, with a clovery sweetness, this was unlike any other milk I've had. Hyper-local sourcing lets the freshness and quality of the product shine through -- all milk is delivered within 12 hours of coming out of the cow and is never exposed to sunlight until customers open their coolers in the morning. Eggs come from a small Kuna farm. Zeppole and Gaston's baked goods are delivered the night they're born in the oven. Idaho meats, seasonal produce, and Boise Milk-branded dairy products (their salted butter is beautiful) are also available. Prices are fair. Milk is about twice what you'd pay in a typical grocery store (plus the bottle deposit for glass bottles), but I have no qualms about the additional cost, given the quality. All other products seem on par with grocery store prices. Want to get on their delivery schedule? Enroll on their web site (www.boisemilk.com), and they'll notify you once they've created your profile and assigned your delivery day (they say this can take up to 24 hours, but they did it sub-30 minutes for me!). You can then log in and add products to your standing order, as well as on a week-by-week basis. Minimum order is 2 gallons of milk, but you can sub bread or eggs for a half-gallon. You can pause delivery during travel. Add a bank account to your profile to be auto-debited monthly. This is the best milk on the planet. The glass jars are awesome and the service is even better. This is one of the best kept secrets in Boise. We have been getting deliveries from Boise Milk for two years and I will do without milk if it means I need to buy from store. Not to mention it is 1/2 the price of store bought milk. After 2 years of perfect service, I would recommend Boise Milk. Their prices are less than I normally paid for organic milk in the store, but is fresher and still all natural. The taste is far superior to anything in the store, and you don't have to pack it in. Milk bi-product like cottage cheese, yogurt and cheese are equally excellent. Never ordered their meats or produce or bakery products. I appreciate them offering glass bottles, and thought they charge a deposit, makes naturally lazy people like myself, recycle. Boise Milk is amazing and so worth it! The Milk is delicious and healthier and better than anything you can buy in the store. Prices are a bit more but the milk is a better quality. I'm also a huge fan of the Fruit Box and the weekly deliveries. read more
