Came here for the first time and it was busy for a Friday morning! Friendly customer service....such a cute little place of yummy baked goods. The pastries seem to sell out quickly so get here early! Very friendly, amazing bagels and the sandwich loaf is spot one. Got a turkey avocado sandwich on a cheese bagel and that could have fed 2 people easily. The only two reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is #1 their hours are very wonky. I've shown up here atleast 3 times to find them closed when their online hours show they should be open. Maybe just a weird fluke, but three times in a row had me really bummed out. #2 their prices are very steep. Nearly $14 for 1 apple pop tart & 1 peach kolache is pretty insane. I understand that they use incredibly high quality ingredients, which I appreciate, but it makes it hard for me to come in here more than once or twice a year. With that said, I do love coming in here for a special treat every once in a while. Like on a birthday or special day to celebrate something fun with my kids. We love their fruit kolaches & fruit pop tarts the most. The cinnamon rolls never seem impressive to me or my family, kind of on the dry side in my opinion. We buy all our bread and rolls, bagels and morning pastries from Hudsons. My wife is gluten intolerant but is able to digest their products. We have tried almost all of their products. Super delicious fermented sourdough bread, and served with a smile. So glad we have this so close to where we live.

I love the pride behind this bakery and their commitment to using high quality, natural ingredients. They use fresh flour, eggs, and a sourdough starter that they generate in house. Everything is made from scratch each morning and the owner is often the clerk working behind the counter. Unfortunately, the products here just aren't very good. The kolaches are really heavy and bland. I got a berry one and while the cream cheese center was nice, the ratio of filling to pastry was wrong. There was so much sourdough bun outside the cream center that it just tasted like a heavy, doughy bun. I tried a cinnamon roll and was similarly unimpressed. The sourdough flavor of the roll didn't meld well with the flavor of the cinnamon and cream cheese filling. The pastry itself was incredibly dense and heavy and overly sweet. I could only eat a few bites before I was overwhelmed by how heavy it was and I ended up throwing the rest away. The bagels looked good and maybe they are better than the pastry. I will try those next time to see if they are better than the sweets. I want to support this business because the owner is so sweet and she seems so devoted to the business. Prices here are really high. I did just see a discount for 15 % off if you order online, but half the fun of getting baked goods is going into the shop and eating them rather than shopping online. In store, you'll pay $4 for a cinnamon roll, $8 for a loaf of bread, and $2.50 for a bagel, which is steep. I'm willing to give it another try, though, in hopes some of these goodies are good. read more

Love this bakery! The rosemary sourdough bread is amazing! Now that we live in kuna we stop into the bakery pretty frequently. When we lived in meridian we took advantage of delivery. This is pretty much the only bread we buy now. I used to live in the Houston area where kolaches are a popular Breakfast item. I tried the fruit kolaches here and while they weren't bad, I did find the sourdough a little of putting. I asked if they had plans to offer savory versions as was common in Texas, egg and ham, egg and sausage, etc, believing these would be much better with sourdough, but alas, they didn't. I had heard great things about this place so when I found myself down the road I had to stop in. It's the cutest little pink farm house at the end of the main street in downtown Kuna, and when you walk in the smell of fresh baked yumminess immediately hits you in the face. The lady at the counter (believe the owner) was very friendly and explained their baking process. I bought their cinnamon rolls and kolaches. The cinnamon rolls are heavenly! The frosting has more of a cream cheese flavor which I appreciate because it is not overly sweet. You don't feel like you are going to go into a sugar comma after (which could also be dangerous because I could probably eat more than one and they are good sized). I had never had a Kolache or knew what it was but these were also delicious. They have the consistency of a soft bagel with cheese filling and Boise Berry Co frozen jam on top.
