Ate here today for a quick lunch trying this place out for the first time with my parents and sister while passing by North Carolina. We definitely got different kinds of fast food options such as the fried chickens and biscuits that it had tasted really good and quite delicious. Voted best fast food fried chicken by Apparently semi stoned restaurant insiders, I had to find out for myself.... Fried chicken appears more of a "homemade" product with it's rather uneven breading but the crispy,crunchy,spicy bite confirmed that this is indeed a contender for it's rating. We ordered the 8 piece family box with sweet tea,slaw,and mash with the very savory Southern white gravy flexed with ham? Chicken was good with a superior bite, just the right amount of spice and salt,not greasy in the least and quite satisfying. Slaw is a very accurate rendition of KFC's but I particularly liked it's coarser cut and fresher snap,mash is of the dried boxed verity but the gravy redeems all evils, biscuits were hefty,flaky,salty and very good, sweet tea was SWEET.......and tea. ...this is good fried chicken...but it ain't Popeyes. This Bojangles has a issue with keeping its employees as well as opening and serving customers in a timely manner due to the lack of employee's, Bojangles pays pretty decent, I'm pretty sure it's the rude and disrespectful manger who's constantly dies her hair this burgundy color. Two very sweet cashiers helped me out this morning. Such a pleasant surprise. The young gentleman was so kind to my mom and made sure we had everything we needed and repeated the order about 4 times to make sure she got what she wanted.
