a chicken sandwich in a wrapper

I was the ONLY one in the car line, placed order for the chicken sandwich and it took them 10 minutes. The lady said there were "technical difficulties". Tried the new Bojangles' Bo's Chicken Sandwich...won't have it again. Cold bun, dry meat, tasted like they sprinkled Tabasco sauce on it, and a glop of mayo in the middle. MUCH better chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A, Popeye's, or KFC.

Chicken Supremes combo. $6.89. Comes all neat in a box. Yummy.

We stopped by this Bojangles' on our way out of Nashville back to Atlanta. This location is just off I-25 exit 70 (SR 102 (Lee Victory Parkway / Almaville Road) - Smyrna) in Smyrna, Tennessee. Smyrna is part of the Nashville metropolitan area. This Bojangles' is situated next to/behind a Publix Super Market. My buddy and I went through the drive-thru and picked up breakfast/lunch for the road. I ordered a regular-size 4-piece Chicken Supremes combo. Chicken Supremes are Bojangles' version of chicken tenders with their proprietary seasoning. They're terrific. The combo cost $6.89 plus tax. I also added an orange juice for $0.60 plus tax. The combo comes with any of Bojangles' fixins (sides) and a buttermilk biscuit. I chose Bo-tato Rounds for my fixin. My combo was packaged neatly in a box. The meal was delicious and really hit the spot. The Chicken Supremes were nicely seasoned, crispy, and hot out the fryer. Very appetizing. They came with a yummy side of sweet honey mustard dipping sauce. The biscuit was warm, flaky, and buttery. The Bo Rounds were crispy on the outside and soft and hearty on the inside. Overall, a satisfying meal. My buddy got a Cajun Filet Biscuit combo ($6.59 plus tax) and orange juice ($0.60 plus tax). He devoured it. Service was good. We got our orders quick and had no issues.

Fast food experience, it was great. Employee talked about his work place injuries though a bit more than he should have. LOL I would stop here again.

We had the fried pickles which are amazing! They do spears instead of chips which is different and good. Got the chicken finger platter for lunch. These things are gigantic! They give you 3 and that's probably too much lol. Very good experience. Will definitely come back when In the area.

We originally were sat at a smaller four-person table right by the roll up windows towards the front of the restaurant, and the draft was so intense, we were freezing even with jackets on. We asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did (although that spot wasn't much better), and placed another couple at the original table. Within minutes they had the same issue... bundling up, switching seats around, etc. our waitress seemed on the younger side, and maybe even new. But she appeared visibly confused with just about every request we had. Her response was usually "uhhhh..... okay" followed by us getting wrong drinks/food. The food overall was decent. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy and the ranch was great. Their fries were delicious. It likely wouldn't be my first choice in picking a place to eat, but I do believe it deserves a second chance. I'll be going back when it's warmer to hopefully have a different experience.

This place has been on my list for several months now so I stopped at the Buona in Murfreesboro on…read morethe way home from Cookeville. To give them a fair shake at a comparison to Chicago, I ordered two iconic Chicago staples, an Italian Beef and a Chicago Dog. First the beef, I ordered it with hot giardiniera and dipped. The beef was tender, flavorful and the peppers packed a pleasant heat. The bread was sturdy had a good flavor as well. Considering we are outside of Chicago, I'd go 4.5 stars. The Chicago dog looked and tasted legit complete with the neon green relish. For the dog I'd also go 4.5 stars. Seems like Murfreesboro might be sleeping on this great spot cause I was there at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and it wasn't packed. Highly recommend this spot when you are in the Boro to get your Chicago fix, it deserves our support!

Be prepared to read a magazine article length review of this establishment. Usually I do not review…read morechain or franchise restaurants, but this was so good, I made an exception. I was intrigued by a mail brochure, then their video. I like the place VERY much. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I reserve those for Italian restaurants with table cloths, vino, attentive waiters and opera playing in the back ground. It is based on FOUR visits because I liked it so much and did not want to give an incomplete review. First will be a detailed list of the dishes we tried and then I will get o ambiance and service at the very end. Here goes the food review first. Chicago Hot Dog. I'm not from Chicago and only know the signature food by reputation but my wife and I were impressed. The bun was very good with the poppy seed on the outside. Holding its own was a nice hot dog through the additional dressings. I ordered mine with the hot gardenia. It was delicious but instead of a vinegar base, it was a nice olive oil. French Fries Our family recognizes my wife as our resident expert on quality fries. She rated these as among the best she has ever eaten. I agreed with her that that they were crispy outside and fluffy inside. She added comments that they held up on the plate as she ate. Being crinkle cut, those fries tend to get soggy, but these retained their crispness through out. Chicago Beef Visiting their website you will see how they prepare their beef for meal. My wife indicated that it was fairly standard, but I drew me in. Admittedly, I have only tried a few of this type of sandwich. The things I liked about it was that it was juicy without soaking the roll and plate. It also had a nice flavor. Pasta On the wall in the store is a sign advertising that the pasta is fresh, never dried and that peaked my interest. Signature Rigatoni Marinara was the menu Item I chose and felt like it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever enjoyed. Thin, long pastas are classified by a number indicating their thickness. I could not find such a classification for rigatoni. While I may be a bit of an engineer, I studied the wall thickness of this pasta. Compared to what I buy in the grocery store, this had a thicker wall. It is important because the pasta was cooked al dente. The mouth feel of the thicker pasta and feel to the tooth was great. Do not feel I am discounting the sauce, but it was one of the best I think southern Italy would offer. Brownie On a whim, I grabbed a brownie because my wife did not want to stop at a candy store for me to get chocolate to go with my bourbon at home. It was light in texture, but incredibly full of quality chocolate flavor. It was great taste for taste, sip for sip. Beef and Gardenia Pizza Our fourth visit to justify my rating was with my wife, adult son and I. Surprisingly, she ordered the pizza choice because it was unique, Neither of us had gardenia on a pizza. Their Tavern Pizza is 10" and cut checkerboard style, not wedges, which was fine by us. The one pizza was enough for my wife and I. We both agreed that the Marinara sauce was the same as on the pasta. The pie was loaded with toppings. In fact, it was hard to get a true taste of the crust. It was also so loaded that she commented that it was a good thing we ate in the dining room instead of taking it home. If we took it home, she suggested, the copious toppings would totally soak the crust. Gardenia served here is in olive oil, not vinegar. As such, it gave a nice flavor to the pie. I thought my wife ordered extra cheese, but, no. That thick blanket is standard. The blend of toppings was just wonderful and the gardenia was just spicy enough. Margherita Pizza All pizza restaurants are judged by their Margherita pizza as far as my son goes. This pie was not traditional, so he simply gave it a "good" evaluation. He would rather get this pizza at other restaurants, but if he came back here, he would order it. Among his comments were that normally tomato slices were on the pizza, but this one had the diced tomatoes in this. Also, all the basil, while tasty was just piled up in the center instead of strewn all over the top. Now for service and ambiance. Of my trips, I was there a few times shortly after they opened for the day and once during a very busy time. Both times, the meal came out in a timely basis and the meals very fresh. On one trip, I ordered beer. The counter person was underage, and left to find a manager to complete the order. She was not clear in diction and we did not know why she left, but it was O Being new, it was very clean. Ambiance is very bright and well lit. Large windows give a good view of the area. Promotional signs and posters are informative and appropriate.

I'm going to break this review into three parts…read more Part 1 the food If you've ever eaten at Steak 'n Shake then the food is familiar to you. I have to say I read a bunch of negative reviews and I expected the worst so that may have colored my judgement. However the food was good it was as good as any other Steak 'n Shake and better than some. My kids liked their food my wife liked her food it was hot and tasty. Part 2 Experience The restaurant was ok it wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't some trash pit. The staff was friendly the girl who took our order informed me before I ordered that it would be about ten minutes to get our food. It took about 15 minuets. Overall the expectation we had for the restaurant and what we got where wildly different. I've eaten at Steak 'n Shake quiet a bit I know what to expect. This Steak 'n Shake is different it's more like a Steak 'n Shake express (except it isn't fast). Which brings me to Part 3 The Concept I'm not sure if this is a test store or if other Steak 'n Shakes like this exists. First of all you stand in line and make your order at the cashier just like any fast food joint. Second they don't offer a full Steak 'n Shake menu, which for what they are trying to do makes sense, although there is no indication of this until you get inside to order. Third and here is where the rubber meets the road the time it takes to make the food is the same amount of time it takes at a regular Steak 'n Shake, and there in lies the problem. Steak 'n Shake is considered to be a quick service restaurant y'all know the drill you go in wait to be seated the server comes takes your order then brings you your food when it's ready the expectation that it will take a little while to get your food is managed by the fact that you go through all these motions. However at this location all of that is striped away except the time it takes to make the food which in turn makes it seem longer to get your food then it actually does even though it still takes a while. I'm not sure how successful this concept will be I mean with the ability to go to other Steak n shakes near by that operate in the original manner. All that said it isn't as if they aren't trying they have the work divided into groups they have a shake station and a group dedicated to making shakes They have a group dedicated to take orders and a group making the food. Maybe they'll get better as time goes on. The bottom line I'll probably eat here again I mean it's close by and I do like the hamburgers so we will see what the future holds

We have always supported this location but I have to say it's super disappointing. The dining area…read moreis very, very dirty. We went and had lunch today & the food was decent but the employees don't seem to care about the environment. The floor was so greasy that they had to have a caution sign in place, the stations to order with the touch screens are nasty, the glass entering the location looks like it's never been wiped & employees are just standing around. It's sad to see how much this location is going downhill. With a little elbow grease & some effort, there could be instant improvements. Unfortunately, I don't see it lasting long if nothing changes. Major turnoff for a family to eat at.
