    Mild wings
    Kavindra W.

Customer service and food was amazing. Here is my "thing" about wings--they need to have moist meat, dry bone, normal size, and obviously good flavor. Station Grill did that!! My wings didn't look like they were starved or fed steroids. Lol. The meat was moist but a very nice dry bone with a bloody taste/appearance. I went with Cajun dry rub which was good. I may would have added a tad more salt. I tasted my son's mild wings and they were absolutely on point!! I don't like sauce dripping down my hands and so they were sauced just right. The fries!!! Hot, crispy outside with softness on the inside. Totally seasoned just right. Station Grill have a nice size portion for the price. The only challenge here is parking. Not fault of Station Grill. This is a funny little location with several very busy establishments and a small lot capacity. We were able to find parking close after circling once. The inside atmosphere is casual and not too loud.

Be careful, if they ask you if you want ham & turkey on your club, and then you ask for extra mayo..it'll turn a lousy $12 club sandwich into a lousy $14.75 club sandwich. No wonder there were only 12 people in the place on a Friday at noon! Every other restaurant in town was packed.

Stopped in here after my sons baseball practice. Wanted some to eat and found this place. Glad we did the service was spectacular and friendly. The wings are good, I would say the best but I'd put them in the Top 8 for the area. My wife enjoyed the Reuben and daughter the chicken salad. No one left disappointed and we will be back when we are on that side of town and hungry. Good job station grill

I went in for the first time tonight because I've never been and it's so close to home. Sat at the bar asked for a beer. He said, "bottle or draft?" I said. "Are they both on happy hour?" He said, "nope and happy hour ends at 5pm" I said, "your website says it's until "6pm" ". He said, "it's been "5" for years..... Then update the website people!

These days it's hard to find a "bargain burger" anywhere under $20, but Firebirds has a huge selection so you can actually find something that fits your budget without sacrificing quality. I visited with my parents during their last trip to town since the restaurant happened to be nearby. Upon walking in, the decor felt a little confusing. The menu clearly presents the restaurant as a grill, but the interior still seemed heavily influenced by what may have previously been an Asian restaurant space. The renovation didn't feel entirely cohesive, which made the atmosphere a bit disjointed. That said, the staff was very friendly, and we were seated quickly. Throughout the meal, however, there seemed to be an underlying sense of stress among the staff that was noticeable despite their efforts to remain professional and attentive. It created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. For dinner, we ordered the filet with broccoli and French fries, while another guest ordered a salad. Unfortunately, the salad had to be sent back because it arrived with blue cheese despite a requested omission due to an allergy. Thankfully, the issue was corrected. The filet itself was cooked to the requested temperature, and overall the food was fine, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was acceptable, though not especially remarkable. Overall, Firebird Grill may work well for larger groups or families looking for a convenient, casual meal, but with so many standout restaurants in Nashville, it's probably not a place I'd personally revisit.

A Cut Above the Monday Blues…read more The Chop House has quickly become a go-to family favorite since my folks moved to Murfreesboro, whether I'm in town visiting or they're dining on their own. The food and service consistently hit the mark, and our latest visit was no exception. I was surprised by how bustling it was for a Monday night--the place was absolutely packed! There was a party of 30 near us, plus a group of 12 right next to our table celebrating a 2-year-old's birthday. It was great seeing everyone having such a special celebration, and despite how busy the team was, we were seated and served in a very reasonable timeframe. My mother made a reservation in advance, and the team graciously accommodated her request for a booth to help with her back issues. They are always wonderfully welcoming to her 5-pound service dog, who sits quietly right beside her. Everyone--from the staff to the fellow diners--was warm and friendly, which makes the whole atmosphere even better. I usually go for the prime rib sandwich, but this time I opted for the full prime rib dinner with soup and a baked potato. It certainly did not disappoint, though it was so generous I couldn't even finish it all. As one of the nicer spots in Murfreesboro, it's a wonderful choice if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion--or just enjoy a top-tier meal.

The food was perfect and really not even that expensive compared to my home town. I started with a nice Cabernet. I had two in fact. I did not know that Tennessee has an extra tax (LBD - 15%) on alcohol sold by the glass! I thought Republicans were all about low taxes. I also enjoyed an absolutely delicious shrimp bisque. It was really good (and only $6 for a bowl). It was smooth and flavorful. In my neighborhood that would cost $15. My entree was a daily special, yellowfin tuna. It was nicely seared on the outside and sushi grade on the inside. I could really taste the healthy Omega 3's. The fish was served on a nicely flavored bed of long grain rice. A wonderful mango salsa topped the fish. The accompanying broccoli was perfectly steamed. This was only $26. I shall return again to this great place.

If you're someone who doesn't always want a burger at a burger restaurant, it's definitely worth trying. Another menu item that surprised me was the deviled eggs. They're a unique twist on a classic appetizer and not something you see at most restaurants. The food is consistently good, the menu has a lot of variety, and it's one of the few places I keep coming back to without getting tired of it. I got the buttermilk bacon for my burger and it should only be served as a side or appetizer. The half slice of bacon is breaded so it is over an inch thick and there were 4 pieces on the patty. There is no way this could fit in a normal sized mouth if you add any lettuce or other condiments. I asked for Brie and got one 1" slice. Definitely not what I expected for a $3 up charge. The sweet potato fries were inedible due to the salt they were doused with. I will, however, recommend the house fried chips with onion dip and it was a shame to have to leave it since there was so much of it. It probably would be great in place of mayo on a burger. I also observed 5-6 people wandering in and out of the back that weren't wearing uniforms but seemed to know everyone as they stood around chatting. Why??? Not very professional for food service. One young man in particular kept running his hand thru his long hair as he stood near the staff area for drinks and the pass. Ugh! There was also another guy with hair down to his waist that was pulled back but man!, that ponytail was swinging loose everywhere from the kitchen to the bar. Again, ugh! Neither of those would I want near where my food was being prepared. The menu is a fun looking and eclectic mess but we won't be back. I prefer a food be under-salted as one can always add more if needed and the hair completely turned me off.

We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left.
