I used to prefer Bojangles chicken over all others. However, this Bojangles has the most lackadaisical customer service of any fast food establishment I know of. I cannot think of a take out order over the last three years that they have actually gotten right! Last time, they neglected include the biscuits with the order. On my most recent visit, there was no one manning the front when we entered so we had to go looking for an employee to help us. When we got the food home, I found a large clump of mashed potatoes embedded in the dirty rice (obviously they were using the same scoop for multiple sides).The biscuits were flat and squished into the box with the chicken. As a consequence, the box was barely holding together. The chicken was dry. The cole slaw was three hours past the time that it should have been removed from the line. I always order unsweetened tea and rarely do they get that right. Before leaving the restaurant, I asked if they had actually given me unsweetened tea this time and wad assured by the manager that the order was right. For no reason I can think of, at that point, she put a sticker on the cap to mark it as "unsweet tea." Unfortunately, it was not a magical sticker, capable of removing all the sugar from the tea, because when I got home, lo and behold (!), it was sweet tea. This place has lost my business. read more

I generally avoid coming to Bojangles however this location is an exception every visit I've had a positive experience the people here are polite kind and seem happy to work there they never give me an issue or make me feel like I am a burden on their day even the few times there has been an issue like the one time they forgot that I was outside waiting on a pie to cook they gave me extra pies lol and we're generally sorry that they had forgotten me the food is hot and fresh and a good price this spot is conveniently located right off the interstate and is perfect read more

Blah!!!! I went though the drive thru. The order taker had a hard time remembering my order, so I had to repeat it several times. I only ordered a kids meal with chicken strips, fries, and a Pepsi. So, I don't know what happened there. Anyway, I paid and kept moving along. My food was cold and disgusting. I was on the road, so I didn't have time to go back to complain. It was busy the first day and still is, sure that will calm down. I went right before closing so it wasn't to bad. Food came out fast didn't need to wait long. I had the two piece chicken breast meal, wasn't dry meat was perfect. Biscuit was great, should've asked for butter and honey with it so make sure you ask for it If you like it because they don't add it. My husband got the tenders meal and they did forget to give him his biscuit ... but I was nice I shared mine with him lol read more

My mother and daughter lives for Bojangles breakfast. While they miss the mark sometimes on the special orders, all in all, they get the job done. My favorite is the buttered biscuit. It is imperative that butter goes inside of the bread... so yum! Next favorite, the sausage biscuit. The fries, I can eat them everyday all day, hot or cold. This was my first time visiting this location and it's in a pretty good location, right next to WaWa and walking distance from other shopping. Check them out if you want something quick. read more

I'd love to review the food but I've never actually successfully gotten an order. Last night was the third time I attempted to order the tailgate pack. It was 7 PM on a saturday, there was actually a football game on TV. But they had no chicken. Nothing dropped, minimum 30 minute wait. This is the THIRD and last time this has happened. This was the 3rd time that they actually said "we don't have any chicken"!! (One day they told me to go across the street to Food Lion) It gets funnier every time now. So today i was told I could wait but it would be a while...I decided to wait it out. I wasn't in a rush. I sat in my car for 27 minutes. When I went inside, they all looked confused...and one actually said "well i wasn't the one to help you". I asked for someone from the drive through, then finally someone came out and said well we have chicken but now we don't have any rice..‍ I told the young man to just give me whatever he had. The location for drive through morning breakfast is such a disappointment . I'll be honest I love the food and I honestly enjoy doing the evening dine in buffet, however drive through experience in the morning is not it's best. The drive in cashier is so bland and uninviting she doesn't even say good morning or hello for that matter when you get to the window instead your greeted with a frown and look that she really doesn't want to be there. I think she trying to get the orders out fast because if you dare ask for suger or ketchup you get and addition look like to say really your holding up my line. Worst ever! Zero stars! They didn't have any chicken and had to wait for chicken to be cooked. I received my order 29 minutes later and the chicken wasn't fully conked and was undercooked. If I could give a lower review, I would. Went through the drive thru around 2pm and didn't leave until 2:40pm, getting two large four piece supreme meals. When I finally had enough of waiting outside I went inside and explained what was going on to multiple people and not a single one giving me and explanation as it why they didn't have my meals ready and easily six to ten people going through the drive thru behind me. I got no apology no discount nothing. Just that the fryers are off and they're trying to turn them back on...but that was after thirty mins of waiting. Not to mention the size of a large meal makes no sense to me. Also, while waiting there was a chicken breast and pie laying on the ground while everyone walked by it. We went to the Bojangles location at 2912 Godwin Blvd Suffolk , VA 23434 this evening for supper. We have frequented this location often and have received good service and food. However , tonight was a disaster. The person taking our drive thru order seemed to have a problem understanding. I ordered a number 9 with unsweetened tea. I was told they were out of unsweetened tea so we ordered a medium Coke Zero. I ordered a Bo Chicken sandwich plain. And a medium Coke Zero. Then She asked if I wanted a combo I repeated I only wanted a plain sandwich and a medium Coke Zero. Then she asked what kind of sauce for the number 9. They were out of the honey mustard sauce we asked for. When I got to the window there was a large drink not the medium I ordered, the number 9 was ready. And I got a sandwich. The second drink had not been prepared. We stopped in the parking lot to eat. The fries with the number 9 were cold, the chicken was cold. My Bo chicken had a small chicken patty instead of the fried breast tenderloin I was accustomed to getting. To say the least we were totally disappointed in the service and food. I looked for the contact information for the manager or franchisee but was unable to find it. I would not recommend this restaurant, at least not the drive through. Well the first time I stopped in her I wanted 20 min for some one to even acknowledge my existence let alone take my order. The individual taking orders was outside smoking a cigarette. I was seen by many employees working the line and walking around the front line but yet nobody asked me if I wanted anything needed anything or wanted to order. I'm only giving this place a 1 star because zero isn't an option. The customer service is terrible. They advertise to order ahead so I did. The order wasn't ready. They ignore curbside pickup so I went inside to pickup. There were at least 4-5 people working but not on even turned arrow d to a knowledge that there were people standing in line. No one greater anyone or even asked if they could help us. Finally I went to the pickup area of the counter and low and behold there was my order. 20 minutes after I arrived and 25 minutes after the app said the order was finished. When I checked the order, an item was missing so they had to get that once I brought it to their attention. Then they asked me if I wanted a bag and I had to bag my order up myself... not difficult but not good customer service. I have to say though they seemed very attentive to the drive through so if you go here, use the drive through and you should have better service. read more

We were able to stop here for breakfast a few weeks after the grand opening. It was a nice experience overall and the food was good, but the service was very very slow. We ordered two Cajun filet biscuits in the middle of the Saturday morning breakfast "rush". There were 8 other patrons either ordering or waiting to order, so nothing too overwhelming, however, the feeling in the restaurant was chaotic at the time. There were some mistakes made with orders and it took a long time for people to get their food. I can understand some of the growing pains since the team is learning, but it felt like we may have been the first guests served by some of these employees. There also seemed to be a lack of definition in who was responsible for what as most of the employees were standing there looking at each other, trying to figure out what to. With that being said, The Cajun filet biscuit is always phenomenal. Our biscuits were over cooked and pretty dark, but we still enjoyed them. We went for the nostalgic taste of the biscuits and we got that, albeit with some bumps along the way. read more
