I utilized the drive through this morning for breakfast. Both lanes were open and service was quick. Once I got up to order, my lady was super friendly. I ordered without any issues. I paid with cash and was pleased that the lady could take cash right there. I'm not sure if that's new or just at random locations, but I haven't been able to do it at others in the past. That was nice. I pulled around to the window area and waited only two minutes or so before my food came out. Everything was hot and I had my straw and sauces. This Chick-Fil-A is always crowded and I hate the entrance off First Colonial is downright awful during peak travel times (which is most of the day on this busy road) and it backs up around the building, into the lot, and sometimes onto the street. You can get trapped inside their parking area and can't get out. It's stressful. Because of these issues - I avoid it at all costs unless it's late at night and I know there will be less traffic and less chance of getting stuck. Recently, we came around 9:20 when they close at 10pm. Their dining room closed at 9pm - which is not noted online or on their door. The agent at the drive through was polite and friendly as always. At the window, they had a ton of employees working inside but there was a wait and they were all giggling and laughing and horseplay. My husband had a coupon which wouldn't work at the drive-through so we had to pay at the window. He added an ice cream at the last minute and they made about 5 before they got it to where the ice cream wouldn't fall off the cone as soon as they started walking to us (we could see it). This review is based only on the catering. You can't go wrong with an office catered lunch from Chick-fil-A. We kept it simple with a large salad, chicken nuggets, waffle chips, cookies and ice tea. The salad was fresh with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Not much else. But it was fresh. The chicken was good - a little cold but that's going to happen. Everything else was good. The staff is always friendly but man this Chick-fil-A is so busy that it causes the cars to back up on Republic Drive. You can get through the line pretty quick but I prefer to go at off peak times. read more

After several successful curbside orders I'm prepared to upgrade and put them in A-OK. Using the app has now become a way of life for many and it's effective. They have quadrupled their curbside operation and added a feature for a parking space number to add so they can easily locate. Food has come out in less than 5 minutes hot and tasty. Staff have been pleasant. I did have an issue of no straw on a frosted lemonade once that was annoying. But overall great job to the hard working staff. Look for an eventual expansion of this store in late 2020, early 2021. The parking lot will also be reconfigured. Be on the lookout for new menu options and meal kits. read more

The food is always good of course. The lines are almost always long. Sometimes it is pure madness which has led me to park and go in a few times. When I've gone in service has been speedy and the staff provided service with a smile. This location has a kids play area. I came here with a friend and her 2 year old and the little guy had a blast and so did the other kids. Food is normal, delicious CFA food. Speed is the issue here. No point in placing a mobile order for pick up when it still takes 25 minutes once you arrive. The general booth location has speed and service down to a science. The slow service has happened multiple times at this location. I have never had a CFA be this slow. Also as I was standing there with several other customers who were complaining about the same issue I observed no less than 3 folks come in with problems with orders they picked up from drive thru.
