When the lower half of the tree came down it busted a sprinkler pipe (which we didn't find out until a couple days later). Great tree service to do business with. Came out same day that I called and gave a very reasonable quote to remove a camphor tree in front yard. Showed up the scheduled day and had tree and stump removed by early afternoon with no collateral damage to plants and house. While they were doing my tree a neighbor came down and inquired about service and one of the workers went down gave a quote on the spot and they went down after my job was finished and proceeded to remove his tree. For the amount of work this family crew had to do in my yard and the reasonable price they charged for it, I think this family deserves a lot of merit. They pruned five big trees neatly. They were courteous, willing to listen to the my desires about how I want my trees cut. But in any business deal, a customer needs to do his/her part, too. The following are just a few examples: express his / her desires or plans for the trees, give alternative dates for the crew to do the work, warn the crew of any predicament they may encounter while doing their job, and be physically present on the site all the time in case they have questions or to make sure that the crew is carrying out your desires or agreement (without being too intrusive or disrespectful). Also, during the initial meeting, I prepared a list of questions or concerns, so I knew where each us stands, avoiding future misunderstandings.
