The gas prices are on the lower side but it's no longer the best deal in the area. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare as is negotiating the area around the pumps. Lately it seems to take forever to fill your tank; the gas is flowing very very slowly. Other customers are experiencing the same. It's great that the convenience store is always open but you can't get anything smaller than a half gallon of milk. Cashiers are slow and distracted and many speak poor English. The car wash is also a crappy experience. My husband has a card that gets cash back at participating Exxons which is the only reason we come here. read more

It was nice to know that there is something to fill your starving tummy up when pumped your gas tank on this gas station. Market price is not bad. Only few gas station in the island has a convenience market in the premises, and the connecting car wash place is a plus. Their pump station has the cheapest gas price I have seen. The Bolla gas market and car wash at the corner of Washington Ave and Motor Pkwy in Hauppauge, leaves a lot to be desired! Six gas pumps are "Closed" down which caused a traffic jam with everyone trying to maneuver to get to a working pump! Then when you line one up and pump your gas the receipt doesn't print. After paying for a car wash and entering the code, that doesn't work either. The machine tells me the code is invalid. After trying it again and still no success, I had to go back inside the booth and explain what happened. Now I'm holding up the line and can't get my car out unless I drive through the car wash. That's not possible until I pay again for another code. I was told by the attendant "you should know how it works". She refused to give me another code unless I pay for another car wash. There are other gas stations in the area that have good prices on gas but I'll never go near this one again! Beware! read more

This is hands down the worst car wash I have ever been to. Let me first say that my car was not that dirty. There was not loads of garbage in it but it did have a layer of pollen on it because of the recent change of season. I won't mention the long wait because that is to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Forget that 1 person was working both vacs with many staff waiting in the drying area. My wife and I remained patient. The car came out of the wash line and it was gross. I'm not talking about just crevices either. There was a noticeable amount of dirt all over the car. I'm standing 10 feet away I didn't want to intrude on the staff doing their job. 3 people went to dry the car, all of them kept wiping the same place their co-worker already did. I'm standing there and wondering why they are not wiping the areas that clearly are still dirty including the entire rear bumper and hood. Finally I gave up, I asked for a towel and proceeded to do it myself for the next 15 minutes with no help. I quickly realized that everything was clearly visible and wiping off with half effort. This just showed me that the staff didn't care enough to make a decent effort at cleaning the car. When the "manager" walked by I told her it was a very bad car wash and that I have to do it myself. She did not apologize, she did not direct any staff to help. She merely asked why I left the car dirty and went back to the cash register. So I spent an hour (expected), paid $15, and in the end did it all myself. This car wash will not clean your car, they will not address your concerns, and they will not help when you point out their shortcomings. Do not go here, I will never go here again. read more

I wish my charisma worked that way with everything here, like Gas, or a car wash! You can't really lose here, fill up your tank and get some change off your wash. Don't like to fill up?, they have a VIP monthly pass to unlimited washes. Don't need either?, ok the breakfast part offers everything from redbulls to coffee , salads to sammiches to a semi warm hawt dawg*. Even their restrooms are cool, black urinals are always cool! I've worked in nearby Roosevelt Field Mall for ten years and for a long time was a regular customer of Bolla for my gas purchases. At some point within the past 2-3 years, the management of this place decided to turn up the volume of ALL the gas pump TV's to rival a night at a Disco. Personally found this level of noise incredibly offensive, and soon stopped patronizing an otherwise convenient gas station. Yesterday, having an empty tank, desperately needing gas, with gritted teeth, I pulled into Bolla to discover QUIET, no more blasting sound system!!!! Sounds of life instead!!! HOORAY!!! Bleh is all I have to say. The station itself is OK I guess. It's not the cleanest, nor the most spacious, and they charge you extra for using a credit card. Boo! I've never been in the store, I've only pumped my gas here. It's also kind of difficult to get out of due to people parking on the street; visibility to the traffic on Hempstead Turnpike is poor. This station was pretty crowded and I had to wait in line to fill up, but that was understandable considering the prices of the fuel here. Cash/credit is the same and premium prices were almost equal to the price of regular at other stations. I make it a point to fill up here whenever I'm in the area. It's not far from the mall or the parkway, making it fairly accessible. Some of the traffic is caused by the car wash next door, which has a partnership with the station for a discount when you fill up. There is also parking in front of the Market as expected, but makes for tight quarters when trying to exit. Still worth the price of admission. read more

They've expanded on the renovations and have a complete working kitchen right out in the open for you to see. I use this place a quick lunch stop if I'm running late. They have a nice selection of sandwich's especially the panini's which they offer in ham, turkey or chicken. All of them have cheese and lettuce and are actually quite good. They've expanded their breakfast offerings and have the typical $3.99 for and egg and cheese on a roll with coffee as well as a selection of hot "a la carte" items. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. Also the place is always spotless which is a plus. Hopefully they can keep it up. read more

I work nearby so i frequent this place alot. the men who work there are always very pleasant and nice,,,too bad the customers are usually jackasses. I actually eat from the deli often and i love the food,,,i mean hello,,,its a gas station but its actually very cheap and good. I've had the chicken cutlets,,,i had the meatballs today and they were very tasty. This review is solely for the car wash. My black car always came back with light scratches which is characteristic of not keeping their brushes clean. The workers always rushed and used their greasy towels (that were just used to wipe my rims) to wipe down my windows and interior. The prices fall in line with other car washes that do a much better job and take their time. Now that I have another new car, no way would I take it here. read more

The pump announces that you are eligible for a DISCOUNT car wash As a result of your gas purchase. I selected "yes" (not knowing what the discount was) and was billed 7.95 for a Car wash with my gas purchase. Same receipt So I drove next door to the car wash was directed on to the car wash platform. Once the car was on the wash ramp a woman came out of nowhere and announced, that will be an extra $2.17. I was confused bc I had just paid for my car wash. Apparently once your car is on the ramp they collect an add on few form your Pre paid car wash if you are driving and SUV OR MINIVAN. I thought I was getting a good deal when pouring gas and then getting a car wash for another 6 bucks but they ended up charging me like for $21 plus my +$34 in gas. Absolute WORST car wash I have ever had!!! I get in my car and the windshield is sprayed with cleaner on the inside and never wiped off. I ask 3 different people if I can have a rag to wipe it or if they can wipe it and they all walk away from me. Then I ask the manager and she says what I dont understand, till finally 2 people walk over and wipe it. As I am pulling out I notice my entire dashboard is covered in the same dust and dirt I came with as well as my console. They did NOT wipe a single thing down in the interior. I get to work and get out of my car and see that there is red streaks running down the back of my white car from whatever cleaner they sprayed on it. Went here for a car wash on Saturday 02/27/2016 at approximately 4pm. There were only (2) cars on the line so I thought I scored. I asked for a package (Believe it was the Deluxe) or something to that effect. The employees are super slow. Once they vacuumed, they brought the car into the tunnel and only pressure washed the drivers side of the car. After the wash, I noticed that they used dirty towels to wipe down the car. They missed more areas than they cleaned. The wheels were barely cleaned at all. The windshield had a haze from the dirty towels. It was so bad that I had to clean the windows when I arrived at home because it distorted my vision (water marks from using dirty towels). In my opinion, the car looked better before the wash. Although it was dirty, at least it was consistently dirty. The front had dirt on the chrome, honeycomb, and headlights. When I left the car wash, half of the mirrors were dirty, there was dirt around all the handles, and most area around the wheel wells looked terrible, and the rear bumper looked like it wasn't even touched. I will never get my car washed here again. I am not one to write a review, but I am making a point of writing this one. To me, it was a waste of time and money. read more
