Be careful they use automatic machines and it can cause damage. for my first time here In the beginning they were very friendly but when I asked the gentleman in front if they put cars through automatic machines he was dishonest and couldn't tell me no. They were rushing to get me Out of the vehicle but As he acknowledged my concern of the matter to not put the vehicle through the machine he said "Move". On March 5, 2026, I took my car for service at Garden City Mazda. Unfortunately, it was raining that day and they gave me a voucher for a car wash I could redeem within the next 5 days. I downloaded the Autocare Network mobile app, registered with my app registration code, and searched which car washes were near me to redeem the voucher. It was easy to use. Classic Car Wash was one of those options and I opted to go here and pay the $2 surcharge for The Classic Car Wash. There are two lanes and there were a few cars ahead of me on a Tuesday around noon. The waiting area inside is very spacious and there are benches outside for you to wait as well. After handing my paper to the cashier and verifying my code through the mobile app, he gave me a white receipt. My car was done in about 20 minutes and the job wasn't very well done. There were a lot of streak marks on the car and on the windows. Though they gave me a 10% off next visit reward, I don't think I'll be using it. read more

Popped in on a whim after the gym to give my preferred mode of transport a little more sparkle. For the first time in years, I got a "Good Morning! " ...at a car wash? Huuuh? People are actually friendly? What in the world...! Truly a pleasant surprise to be treated like a human at nine-something on a Sunday morning. The interior of the shop and the patio was updated and most importantly, clean which is pretty rare at car washes. The actual wash took some time, which is fine with me because most of the details were not ignored. They ACTUALLY cleaned the rims, and well. Multiple guys worked on my car, and they even smiled at me too. I was beginning to think I was in some parallel universe where people show kindness. Especially to a gal who's in gym clothes and tired, barefaced with touch of RBF. I opted for the gold wash, but the classic would have been just fine. Prices are typical of the area, which in 2025 isn't cheap anymore. With the CC fee, it was $40 for the wash, plus tip. They offer discounts for hospital workers and first responders if that's your jam. We had a laugh or two with the gentleman at the register and the other customer waiting for his car. This guy is a thief. For starters he's given me the incorrect change back every time I went here. It's only a dollar, so I take it out of the workers tip. Upon arrival they ask you what you want done with your car instead of listing you their packages and do not fulfill. I highly do not recommend this place as the owner is a liar. Another time I came here he did not give me the early bird price because the car was being cleaned one minute past the time. Makes me angry, wish there were more car washes close by. read more

It's sad that I have to write this review because the man at the register is a cool guy, don't know if he's the owner or what but I was there last week to have my newly painted Yukon washed and as I pulled up to the Spanish guy at the entrance I said immediately "papi please make sure you take off the antenna" he responded with no worry they do that up there. My antenna has to be unscrewed manually being my truck is a 2002, I ordered the works! Full wash inside and out with mats washed and tore shine, I also asked for the $15 "ceramic coat" which isn't a real ceramic coat but it's winter and I want whatever extra protection I can get. Go inside get a nice cup of espresso on the house which was cool. And then my car was done, as I walked to my car another customer asked about my rims and tires and kinda distracted me from the job that was done, so I looked over fast and thought it was a good job initially, but noticed as I took off, that my windows all had a greasy film, so I tried putting on my wipers to see if I could remove it, and as my wipers go across my windshield I notice I'm missing a wiper. Fine! It must've gotten pulled off with the brushes that go across the car as it is being cleaned, I go to turn up the radio, all I hear is static...the guy never took of the antenna and they broke my antenna clean off! so I paid $50 for the wash, $10 tip to the guys. The greasy film was so bad all over the car from the "ceramic coat" that I had to go home and wash the car again with my sons, so all in all I paid $60 to have to wash the car twice, $40 for new set of wiper blades at Autozone and I'm gonna have to have my radio antenna replaced! I wish I never came here! If you're anything like me, you go to 1 million different car washes and never feel like they've actually done a really good job. Now, maybe it's the complementary espresso but I am super happy! My car looks sparkling clean and it was disgusting very dirty after all the snow and rain it was definitely a challenge to get it shiny and new looking. Every staff member that I encountered was extremely friendly. I don't live anywhere near here but I have to be honest I would drive out of my way to get my car washed here again so if you're close in the area or even a little far away it's worth the drive they do a beautiful job! Oh, I forgot to mention that I had to use the bathroom and it was the cleanest public bathroom that I have seen in ages sparkling Clean just like as if it were in my own home! It is located right on Old Country Road, just East of Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall/The Meadowbrook Parkway, to clean the dust from Connecticut's Country Roads off of my new 2020 HIGHLANDER. There are new owners, and they've really spiffed the place up. CLASSIC Car Wash has been totally renovated/updated. The place is immaculate, and your car/truck will be, too!!! Brian (The Manager) and his team did a fantastic job on my whip. These guys are on top of their game, and take pride in the finished product. I got my Black truck back, SPOTLESS, inside and out. Oh man, my finish looks like Black Glass. They had even sprayed a really soothing fragrance inside the truck's interior. I'll definitely be back!!! Just had a car wash. Car came out almost as dirty as it went in. Staff drying off did not notice how dirty it was and was going to give me the car like that. I tipped them and asked them to give me the rags and cleaned off the car as best as I could myself with them just watching me do it and not helping. This location seems to have taken over by new ownership. They did renovate to make it look nice but that's not the purpose of the business, if they can't wash the car properly, there is a larger problem. I hope they get their act together. read more

I'm not a negative review person, and have made a point to only ever leave positive ones. The actual staff here are incredibly nice, which is why I've come back. However, each time I took my car in, I left the lot with the inside barely cleaned though I paid for it (which is the only honest reason I go to a car wash), and water stains in-between my mirrors, dirt under the spoiler, and the works. Unless you pull up with a luxury car like a Beamer, Audi, Benz, or Lexus, and spend $60+ on a package, this is what you'll get, assuredly due to the expected higher tip. I don't have a big car, I've got a 2018 Beetle. There's not a lot of real estate to clean, but alas, the past two times I've went (both in 2022, these were the results I've had. I have underlying health circumstances and was nervous to go at first, but Classic Car Wash follows all CDC Guidelines, and made me feel very comfortable. I just had a car wash at this place. After wash, my car looks clean but they did not wipe inside well, I say 70% wipe. I asked them to wipe again. It's under new ownership which is good because the old did not care. The prices are reasonable and competitive. I like that you get a free coffee/expresso with each visit. My only concern is the equipment itself appears dated and hasn't been renovated, so you may not get the best wash but like I said it's competitive pricing. A few times I've noticed I didn't get the poly foam that I paid for and I had to notify the manager. It seems like the equipment doesn't always engage correctly. Other then that, it would be nice if they cleaned the see through windows so that you can watch as your car gets washed like at other car washes, the windows here have a-lot hard water residue. This was my first time here and honestly they did the bare minimum. My front seats and steering wheel are clean and that's about it. From the outside windows to the hair that remains on the floor. That center space in between the front and back seats is untouched. They even left some of my garbage in the backseat floor. Sorry but I'm just so upset I wasted 40$ on their gold package when I could have just cleaned my car myself.
