I never got any call, text or email stating she had received it, l then texted her about it and she replied," I will be out of the office until the 20th of January. I paid her in full on the 6th of January. The 20th of January came and went and she never was able to be contacted again by text, phone or email. She ghosted me deliberately. I had to contact the GM UAW to complain about her conduct after leaving a voice message in anger about my not being able to contact her. After I fired her, through email and voice mail, because she proved to me to be untrustworthy she started emailing, calling and texting. Be aware of this one. We spoke with him the day before our appearance in court and he told us what would happen and that he would meet us there. The day of court he would not answer his phone or respond to any texts. His phone then went straight to voicemail. Two days later he responded to say he had kidney stones. For us that was a little late since this was a custody hearing for our child. He was always hard to make contact with and his lack of response is ridiculous. He made our case a joke. His assistant is just as bad as he is. I would not EVER recommend TIM DOTY to do any kind of legal work. After days with no response, he did refund our retainer but that was after we stated that we will be filing a complaint with MI State Board Association.

if anyone had a bad experience with mr Doty it was probably their own fault! the other month i was…read morecharged with a drug felony. i was blessed to recieve him as my court appointed counsel. he must have been doing his required public defender office work because run of the mill public defenders do not usually de everything that he did for me. here is a list of the service he provided me with at my darkest hour 1. he got my $20,000 bond reduced to a personal bond 2. he did a detailed discovery with the hope of dismissal for illegal search and seizure ( unfortunately the evidence to do so just wasnt there). 3. he returned every phonecall usually within an hour or two, within a day at the longest. 4. not only did he get my felony reduced to a misdemeanor, but he also got me off with no probation, 1 year advisment and a $300 fine. not quite a dismissal but darn close and well worth whatever bill i get in summation mr Doty is prompt, professional, hard working and has an excellent relationship with the 37th district court. if you find yourself in trouble and need a good attorny to work his ass off for you that i wholeheartedly recommend Timothy Doty esq.

Since my case was taking long, I was asking questions on every steps to make sure everything is alright. However, he barely reply my questions. He totally ignored my emails, messages. If I send 5 messages, I get one answer after a long period of time. Then one day, to my surprise this lawyer gave me a rude reply that I have never expected from him. That reply stops me sending message, email or any kind of further communication with them. He wrote: ""Dear Mr. Hasan: You have exceeded the number of questions allowed in your fee. You have made over 100 contacts with us. Many of your inquiries are not within the scope of our work and are unnecessary. If you going to go to USCIS website and make up questions, we are not prepared to answer them. Your case is being processed at a normal pace. All additional inquiries, questions, e-mails and phone calls will incur $20 charge each time (from now on). If you do not pay, we will withdraw from your case."" Well, he could tell me that in proper way. What kind of professionalism is that? Instead he threatened me with charging $20 for each message/email. He also threatened to withdraw the case. If you cannot answer/handle your client, you better change your profession. I paid you to answer my questions, understand? If I knew the process I would have been filed by my own. I wouldn't hire you. Then again when the case was approved he started to behave nicely. He texts and emails me almost everyday. At the end he begged me to give him a 5 star review. Unbelievable! You got this! This lawyer was good in the past but nowadays he became greedy, very poor at communication, take the case longer than expected. Find a better lawyer than him.

Of course you can't go into specifics, because you have nothing to support your disingenuous characterizations. I could have easily represented myself in this case, but I didn't want to directly engage my ex in front of the judge. I understand family court well enough to understand just how poorly you did. I do believe you do fight to win, but only cherry-picked personal injury cases, and your other clients suffer. If you don't think FILING A CRUCIAL RESPONSE ON THE WRONG CASE is mishandling something, that clearly demonstrates your ineptitude and unwillingness to accept responsibility. Jeff McCarty was completely oblivious that the judge did not have the document during the hearing, and the consequences were disastrous. The error would have gone undiscovered if I hadn't known how to check the register of actions - and when I wrote Jeff about the gaffe, he ignored me. When I wrote a second time holding Amanda to task for the misfiling, he suddenly cared - about her. Jeff had been unprepared as usual, including the time we had to track him down for a hearing and he was clearly disoriented when he appeared. There was the time Jeff changed the hearing date and forgot to tell me. And the time I called Amanda and she thought my file had been closed, because of Jeff's dawdling. The case got off to a bad start because Jeff wasn't prepared and wasn't sharp enough to challenge the opposing party's dishonest testimony before FOC. He was provided concrete evidence of the perjury and failed to seek immediately, or ever, sanctions and attorney fees. The ABA writes "perhaps no professional shortcoming is more widely resented than procrastination. A client's interests often can be adversely affected by the passage of time or the change of conditions." Jeff had an ethical duty to zealous advocacy and failed. The last thing I asked you for was a final billing, which I requested multiple times over months. I never received it. According to the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board web site, Jeff was appointed to represent a woman in a claim for Social Security Widow's Benefits, and it was found he sought to charge an illegal fee, and in a collection suit filed against her, he failed inform the court that he had previously agreed that he would not charge or receive any fee unless authorized in accordance with the Social Security laws and regulations. This is consistent with the lack of integrity I experienced and he's found a home at Rasor. You took $15,000 from me and failed to help me advocate for my kids who have suffered emotional abuse. As if your lack of humanity for children who had their innocence destroyed weren't reprehensible enough, you have chosen to attack me with foolish innuendo. You didn't have the energy to fight in court so now you're battling another client on social media. Your kinds words are as worthless as your character and your cowardly accusations.
