I had several additional requests which they accommodated such as adding an extra drain line and additional return vent and all the work was done as requested. Since completion of the job, they have come back on routine maintenance visits to keep the system up and running and the cost of which was included with the original work. I therefore. have been very pleased with after-installation service. Separately, I used them for plumbing, specifically replacing a sink faucet, repairing a garbage disposal, and repairing a leaky shower fixture. I was very pleased with this service as well. Especially the garbage disposal because all it needed was a minor turn of a crank to loosen it up instead of a full replacement, which saved me a significant amount of money. Obviously, overall, I'm very happy with their services. I will be using them again and highly recommend.

It's unbelievable but some companies required upfront deposit even before assessment of the issue. Our technician,Brian, was on time, called prior, came with shoe covers, quickly identified problems with toilet, gave us estimates and couple options to think about. I called next morning and next business day he returned and completed repair. Again on time, very professional and leave no dirt or waste after job. Prices are horribly high now everywhere, but plumbing can't be avoided,so their price point is adequate to area, but service is superb. Can't deduct star for high prices, because they are using gas and supplies which are horrible now.

ABSOLUTE FIVE STAR! I am happy to say that I received excellent service from Yesser of Dora…read moreElectric. I had a HUGE job which I was worried would be costly. I had a brand new electric panel installed, and I even had the outside meter and main line MOVED to an entirely new area of my home. Used to be smack dab in the front, ugh! Now it's well hidden on the side of my house! MORE THAN THAT, Yesser dealt with all permits and working with Dominion electric to facilitate the approvals which all went completely seamlessly and extremely fast. Immediately after the large job was done I had several other small projects that I would only trust with Yesser. So he did a bunch of other things for me for such a good a price. Costs: Cost was extremely reasonable to the point where I know I would have paid much more. I feel like with bigger companies you have to cover their advertising budget ha ha! Skill: All I can say is that I was very impressed with the work. I know very little about electric, but the neatness alone with how things were laid out and done showed me that Yesser is a perfectionist. I checked out his credentials. Master Electrician. Fully licensed and certified in DC, MD, VA. Super nice guy, always explaining what he's doing, loves a friendly chat! :)

Bottom Line Up Front: Yesser is unethical, unprofessional, lacks the ability to perform quality…read morework in a reasonable time (104 days to finish a 2 day job), does not understand customer / business relationships, and is the messiest person we've had working in our home. He may be wonderful at changing out a lightbulb but he is incapable of performing large-scale work. I would never recommend him for any work and plan to file a complaint with the County based on our experience with him. Found Dora Electric on Yelp. We needed our two panel boxes combined to one, leaving open breaker spots for future electrical needs. We also needed four (4) dedicated lines run down the hall to the basement wet bar. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 (day hired): Yesser quoted to get the job done in two days for $3,000 and guaranteed his work would pass county inspection. Thursday, May 19, 2016 (23 days since hired): Yesser showed up around 11:00am but didn't start any work. Friday, May 20, 2016 (24 days since hired): Yesser had the power off all afternoon and it wasn't restored until around 10:00pm. He wasn't sure when he'd come back to continue/finish the job. Monday, May 23, 2016 (27 days since hired): My wife contacted Yesser to ask when he was coming again. His response was "maybe today but maybe not." Tuesday, May 24, 2016 (28 days since hired): Yesser said he was busy this week. I expressed concern due to family coming to town on Saturday. He agreed to finish the job on Friday, May 27. Friday, May 27, 2016 (31 days since hired): Yesser finished installing the four (4) dedicated outlets and installed the two (2) grounding rods. He left 13 holes in the drywall and said he doesn't patch the holes. He then asked me to pay him $4,700 instead of the $3,000 we agreed on. I paid him $500 (total $2,000 to date) and said I would not pay any the final $1,000 until the Fairfax County inspection passed. Yesser requested to schedule the final inspection after Ramadan. We agreed to support him even though only the inspection remained. Friday, July 15, 2016 (80 days since hired): Yesser didn't show for the inspection and his work failed the inspection. Yesser cut a wire where he cut a hole in the drywall and blamed us for doing it. He also blamed us for the other holes in the wall yet he was the only contractor hired. Yesser agreed to return that day and fix the failures but never showed. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 (85 days since hired): Yesser stopped by for 30 min then left for the day. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 (91 days since hired): Yesser arrived (late) to repair the issues failing the inspection. He asked to be paid $750 but was reminded of our agreement to pay after the final inspection. Yesser berated my wife, called her a liar and claimed we were treating him harshly because he is an immigrant. My wife stated we just wanted the work done so we could pay him and have our home back. Yesser said he scheduled an inspection for the following morning. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 (92 days since hired): Yesser said the inspection was cancelled and rescheduled for Friday. Friday, July 29, 2016 (94 days since hired): Yesser said the inspection was cancelled and asked to do it the following week. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 (98 days since hired): My wife contacted the Fairfax County Inspector's office and scheduled the inspection for Friday. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 (99 days since hired): My wife told Yesser via text the inspection was scheduled for Friday. He was not happy and said to have a check ready for him. Friday, August 5, 2016 (101 days since hired): The County Inspector cancelled the inspection. We found out that Yesser never scheduled any inspections other than the one that failed. In short, Yesser had been lying about scheduling and the cancellation of inspections. Monday, August 8, 2016 (104 days since hired): Inspector showed up and passed the work pending fixing two open wires Yesser cut (but blamed us for cutting). Yesser wanted the $1,000 paid in cash. We refused and said our bank would issue a check delivered to his home address. He yelled at my wife and said he was to be paid $4,700 instead of $3,000 and accused us of being liars. He continued his rant until my wife began to video the conversation. He stopped yelling and drove off our property, leaving his tools in our driveway.

**UPDATE TO MATT ROGERS RESPONSE** Matt Rogers, you are an absolute moron. Your own employee told…read moreme NOT to pay the invoice because the work wasn't complete. By your own metric, "your" work wasn't completed until 14 July, which is NOT the date on the invoice (23 June). It is also NOT 07 July. 07 July was the date of inspection; 14 July is the date your team did the point of attachment (see attached photo of proof of appointment) -- you invoiced me for the point of attachment on 23 June, WHEN THE WORK WAS INCOMPLETE. Learn how to read and check your emails!!!! Additionally, according to every other homeowner I talked to who updated their panel, the electrician handled all coordination with Dominion. You REPEATEDLY failed to respond to emails asking for an update. Your lazy irresponsible disorganization without Kristin is not my problem. I should have taken you to small claims court to contest the lien on principle since the error would have invalidated the lien. Expect a report to the licensing board. --- If you are looking for a contractor that pairs complete operational chaos with aggressive, predatory legal action, look no further than Mister Rogers' Electric Company in Alexandria, VA. Specifically Matt Rogers who is either willfully obtuse or too stupid to read past emails. What started as a standard $8,000 electrical panel upgrade has devolved into a nightmare of unfinished work, lost records, and shocking dishonesty. The initial experience felt promising thanks to a customer liaison who handled scheduling well. Kristin, if you are out there, this company is circling the drain without you! I hope you got a pay raise somewhere else! Part of the physical installation was done in early June, but the job was far from over. It required an extra step to set up the point of attachment AND final coordination with Dominion Energy to complete the connection. Around this time, I received a full invoice for $8,000. Knowing the job wasn't finished, I reached out to Kristin, who explicitly told me (via email, I have the receipts) the invoice was sent in error, instructed me not to pay it until all work was complete, and assured me she was coordinating with Dominion. In the meantime, she scheduled the point of attachment work which was completed in mid-July. By late July, my home was left in a state of absurd neglect: My external panel was left wrapped in literal plastic and the unattached wire was dangling from the top of my roof. When I reached out for an update, I was informed the helpful coordinator had left the company and that they had no record of my work order ever existing. After "looking into it," they claimed Dominion promised to finalize the job in under ten days. Unsurprisingly, ten days passed, and absolutely nothing was done. The grand finale? Instead of finishing the project or checking their own internal communication logs, Mister Rogers' Electric Company slapped a mechanics lien on my property for the very invoice their own representative explicitly instructed me not to pay. The lien referenced the entire work as being completed on 23 June, which it was not. To slap a lien on a customer's home while leaving an unfinished, plastic-wrapped panel and loose wiring dangling from the roof is beyond unprofessional, it is completely unethical. Save yourself the headache, the legal danger, and the hazard to your home. Hire literally anyone else.
