To my surprise, I got a call back that same evening and they were able to schedule an appointment to come out the next morning. He identified potential causes for my problem - some were quick things that he checked and resolved there on the spot (loose connections), other items were something a little longer term that would need to be monitored and checked. Rather than stay there and continue billing an hourly rate while waiting for something to happen or not, he worked with me to understand what I would need to do. Bolt Electric was referred to me, so I called them. They were always on time, and they completed their work in a timely manner. I think the prices are affordable, and I am very comfortable with them on my jobsites. I have used them many times. They removed, remodeled, and installed control boxes in the kitchens and re-wired entire systems for me. Ronnie is also a great troubleshooter of wiring outside, so he has done a little bit of everything. All of it works great. I think they are very reliable and trustworthy. I feel perfectly comfortable leaving him to service units and complete work when I'm not there. Master Electrician Ronnie came out and was able to both troubleshoot and repair the issue we have had in this house for about 12 years. Other so-called electricians were unable to trace the issue while it once took Ronnie five minutes to identify the situation. I was impressed with his knowledge. Bolt Electric prices were very reasonable and any charges were explained. It was great not to be blindsided like the electricians used in the pass. I recently bought an old house that had numerous issues I needed to correct such as old two-prong plugs, ungrounded three prong plugs, a breaker panel that was a mess, and I needed a couple extra outlets/circuits installed. Bolt Electric's staff was extremely helpful and professional, giving me exactly what I needed to completely refit my home. They identified several issues that the inspector had missed, and they never tried to up-sell me extra things that I didn't need. It took them about 2.5 days to refit my entire house, and all at a very reasonable price. Their work was meticulous and clean. I can't recommend these guys enough. Darel, the electrician who made our service call, was very professional and courteous. We had an unknown gremlin in the house tripping a breaker. Daryl was able to rule out a few possibilities, and then get to the probable source of the problem. We haven't had any further issues. Price and speed were important, which were both great with Bolt Electric. However, using a service company for the first time can be stressful when you don't know the quality and experience of the service providers. First let me say that the owner of the company is a master electrician and personally came to my home to look at my issue. I had spent months tinkering with our oven trying to figure out why it kept blowing oven bulbs and killing circuit boards. I even went and bought a brand new oven thinking it would fix the issue. Ronnie showed up promptly and professionally assessed the situation and within 10 minutes found the issue to be a faulty ground wire at my breaker box. I contacted Bolt for my fathers commercial property to install LED lights in the parking lot area there. WOW what a difference the lights make!! There are no more dark spots anywhere on the property now. Not only that but we had gotten several other quotes from 2 other companies in town and Bolt was by far, the best price and they got the work done extremely fast and on time. Bolt is my new go-to electrical company for anything I need done in my 50-plus year home. Robert was exceptional in his knowledge and expertise.
